Current Hey, I hate to say this, but I am probably leaving this place for the forseeable future. Those who are waiting for me on RPs can just... stop waiting, I guess. Sorry, all.

Well, @Truant, I believe what's wrong with you is in the name... your ability is Truant, you only get to act every other turn.

@Ampharos Boy, I guess that means you're going to get cave adaptation by the time this whole thing is done, and you'll vomit as soon as you leave your house, lol.

You ever read one of your RPs from years ago and just laugh at how bad it is?

Dragons vs unicorns, huh? I'm horribly biased in this case 'cause I HATE horses, so... dragons.

'Murica, lol.
Yup, and if anyone wants me to, I'll put up the app skeleton so they can think about their character.
If anybody's interested, I have an interest check for a 'new' RP.

The year is 2015, and everything seems normal, that is until someone spots a giant meteor heading towards Earth. Given its projected speed and size, not only would it be here by the end of the week, but it would be big enough to destroy the world. Of course, during this week, the human race launched almost every missile it had at the thing, to absolutely no effect, and the only clue as to how we might destroy the meteor was some weird, glowing symbols on it. Unfortunately, said glowing symbols weren't a weak point, or weren't a weak enough point, since, of course, they tried attacking the glowing part, first. It seemed like the world was going to end, there was only one day left, and nobody was coming up with any ideas on how to stop it. That night, at around midnight, someone ran into the formerly closed-off, secret, underground military strategy room with a strange artifact... it was shaped like an eight-headed dragon, and appeared to be made of gold, though, its weight wouldn't even come close to matching the weight of gold... the artifact seemed to have the same symbols on it, and with only one missile, and no other plans, they strapped the thing to the world's last missile, and shot it out to hit the meteor.

Somehow... that did it. The meteor was now a weird, dark dust in the sky, and the human race gets to live another day, right? Well... unfortunately, due to completely unknown causes most likely related to the artifact, the meteor, the dust it became, or all three, everyone left on Earth started to change into strange creatures, some of which were only seen or spoken of as myths, or legends. This, in addition to a lot of people thinking the world was coming to an end this week, caused a TON of chaos... people just started breaking the law, and the police weren't even enforcing it... things were broken, stolen, shot, killed, seriously injured... you name it. Not only does magic suddenly exist, but guns have become a rare commodity, either taken and destroyed, or hoarded by some people who used to sell them... though, usually they were hoarded by gun salesmen, only to be taken and destroyed for almost no reason, afterwards. This is where you come in, waking up to what you thought was going to be the end for you, your family, and all of your friends... and probably surprised at being alive, if completely transformed.

On a less story-related note, I've actually tried this RP a few times before, and it failed due to a couple different reasons that might not be present in this one, so... anyone interested in joining?
As everyone introduced themselves, Trevor kept trying to make a spark from hitting the two stones just right... and, of course, nothing came of it. He then got a better look at who, or what, he was dealing with, here. Some of them were alright, with the swablu being a little clumsy, but at least nice enough, the pawniard seemed to be very... direct, but didn't seem hostile, and the seedot... was doing more damage to himself than anything. However, there was also the misdreavus, who seemed to revel in the fact that they weren't human anymore, even if it implies that they died, somehow, the really big (at least compared to Trevor), sinister-sounding seviper, and the Dunsparce who was shouting about supposedly being kidnapped, and... uh... her dad being strong enough to rip us apart if we don't 'untie' her, despite the fact that we never tied her up. Trevor froze up for a brief moment, and then after a bit, finally decided to say "Well, it's nice to meet you all, and I hope we can keep working together," to be honest, though, he was still VERY wary of the seviper, and it SHOWED with how he spoke, earlier. Lance then suggested that someone calm down the dunsparce, and Trevor nodded before heading over there, however, before he could really say anything, a loud BOOM filled the cave, and Trevor noticed something he could take advantage of, some falling embers in the cave! He ran up to the unlit campfire, took one of the sticks, and then ran to get at least ONE ember on the thing to light it. Once the 'torch' was lit, he placed it back onto the new campfire.

Trevor wanted to sit down, but there was something else he had to deal with first. He walked up to the dunsparce, and, as calmly as he could muster, explained to her "You are not a sacrifice, you are not tied up, this isn't a kidnapping, and... this isn't even Earth. I dunno where we are now, or how we got here, but we're going to have to work together if we're going to escape, okay?" after that, he headed over to the fire, and sat down close enough that he could put the tip of his tail in the fire... maybe that'll light it, and he'll be a bit more normal... maybe.

And with that, I'm going to guess that the stones didn't work, as well.
By the way, some of your signature rotations, SleepingSilence... is that, *gasp*... DIGIMON!? Not to mention another one is from *even bigger gasp* the pokemon ANIME! You aren't a REAL FAN...
...
lol, okay, I couldn't type that with a straight face.
I could edit my post, but I figured that would hit him a bit later, because, well, right now, he's still freaking out about being a small, orange, bipedal lizard, lol.

...
and edited. I decided against having him react to going out into the rain, 'cause some of the entries state that it won't go out so easily. Of course, swimming is another thing, but a light rain shouldn't be much trouble.
Trevor was somehow the first to wake up in this new world, and he didn't even realize what happened until he looked down and saw a tail, of all things. That bit of shock caused him to jump back and try to figure out what he was... from what he could figure out, he was a charmander... a creature from a video game, and looking around in the cave, Trevor was able to recognize several more pokemon, including two snake pokemon, dunsparce, and seviper. There were more, of course, such as the swablu who was probably going to wake up, soon, and the pawniard, as well as the misdreavus, both of whom, considering the fact that Trevor didn't know how to breathe fire, yet, he desperately hoped were on his side, or at least not hostile. He then heard the thunder, and noticed the chilly, overall bad weather. Well, since we have two, maybe three cold-blooded creatures here, someone's going to have to get a fire going, and... it's going to have to be me, I guess. Trevor thought as he headed out in the rain just to find some sticks to build a small campfire. He then took the sticks back inside, and tried to make sure they were dry before trying... and failing at using Ember a few times. It can't be that hard, right? It's a beginner's move in pokemon! Oh, right, we were probably the equivalent of a level five... and that was a level NINE move, unfortunately. Trevor thought as he looked towards his tail, thinking that would have a fire on it... and the revelation that he didn't have ANY fire on his tail made him jump back. Sure, he read a few pokedex entries that implied that the tail fire was only a measuring tool for strength or emotion... there were still a few that outright said a charmander would DIE if it didn't have a fire on the end of its tail. He... accidentally screamed a bit, which probably woke up the others, and Trevor grabbed a couple loose rocks, and tried to get them to spark, and secondarily he tried to look like he was trying to help using said rocks.

Once the others started waking up, Trevor finally introduced himself "Hey... I assume we're all here because we all used to be human, or at least, didn't used to be pokemon... um... my name's Trevor, and I'm going to see if there's a guild, like in that spin-off series in the games," of course, Trevor wasn't exactly the best at introductions, or even speaking to strangers in general, and afterwards, he asked "So.. anyone else here want to introduce yourselves? D-don't be shy, um... it's not like anyone's going anywhere for a while because, well, weather," as he was saying that, he kept trying to produce sparks for a campfire, since Trevor was certain that its warmth would be appreciated, though, perhaps not by the pawniard, whose steel typing had them most likely preferring the cold over the heat.
