Well I just don't understand why he goes through all that trouble to act like a big tall wallflower. He could at least make it appear like he's interacting with everyone even if internally he's wallowing in self pity, u know?
Terrible terrible post by sovereign grave!
You don't go to party and pretend to be a wallflower.
You gotta mingle. You gotta get in there!
I just don't like the personality of your main character.
yay!
Yes, you forgot about me! (Manas)

I've been heavily procrastinating. I intend to make a post these days!
I like this, too

Well fine then, I shall just go right ahead and completely change everything since you folks have something against us beautiful people.

TheSovereignGrave still mentioned that he liked your race overall...

...

I don't think you be put off by the fact that he (TheSoverignGrave) said "a race of beautiful people" is not realistic. I had the same problem when I stated in my original nation sheet that all my people were skinny and not a single one was fat. The co-gm (Dinh) made me change it.

I don't think I really had a particular culture in mind when I designed the Hanarth. Though their 'marriage' ideas were based off of the 'walking marriages' of the Mosuo people of Southwestern China.

I based my culture on biblical cultures then made a twist by throwing in scandinavian and western european settings.

I didn't have a culture in mind, either! I made my nation-sheet just from a smattering of ideas. I also recall that the phalanx when done right is a really powerful weapon. Also, I just remember castes from world history class! And... that's all I remember hahaha!!!

I hope I am not seen as a dumb person when I start making IC posts lol!

Not really. Tribe culture is simple enough, so it's really just playing a nation and a half. It's also realistic. American Settlers, Scotland under English occupation, the Amazon right now... history is peppered with nations comprised of two totally separate cultures. Maybe they don't get along as well, by hey, having a stubborn sense of national pride really helps.

I understand the need for realism..

but do you know what would be more real?? Having diplomatic relationships with other countries, especially the elven races like manas, hanarth, and deepwood! Manas is open for communication with torin! I will make an IC post about an ambassador from my country heading towards your country, will you take receive him in all formalities?

I was going for a kind of half-tribal - South American, Amazonian, Scottish clan - half-rich imperial - England, Ottomans - kind of nation.

Wow, that's really complex

Okay this is probably the worst work I have ever written.

I liked it!

Goddamn autocorrect! Hold on...Yup, my phone thinks Mormon is Marmon too. I put in Manas and it came out as Marmon. Sorry about that. Changed it now.If the nation is technically the same, like Britian and The Falklands, I guess I don't have a problem with that.

Thank you, Mr. GM!
