Okay, finally finished! Not only did I find a good picture but got her personality and background done. ^.^

Sorry for the delay! Real life again... my wife is going to work soonish (like in another week) and we've been on vacation, so I've been spending some more time with her. Though I'll admit that I still have to find the perfect picture for Kailyn still, so I hope you can be patient! ^.^

Age: 25

Power: Shadow Crafting - Kailyn is a rare breed of mutant, exposed to and has the ability to manipulate an extradimensional energy called 'Dark Energy.'

• Night Vision: She has the ability to see in complete darkness, up to 120 feet, with a slight note in improved vision outside of this.

• Darkness Curtain: Kailyn is able to infuse the surrounding area with a sudden burst of darkness, ranging from a moonlight-like condition to complete darkness. However the stronger forms of the curtain for extended periods tends to mentally exhaust her, at which point the curtain will dissipate.

• Hard-Light Construction: Limited to medium objects for the time-being, she is able to create solidified objects from shadows or darkness. Kailyn has tenancy to lean towards melee-like weapons and personal body shields. These constructs are hard enough to deflect bullets, but extreme testing still needed to gauge potential limits.

• Shadow-Melding: One of the more mysterious abilities, Kailyn has the ability to physically meld within shadows that are not her own, allowing her short-distance jumps from one shadow to another and in some cases, turning ethereal as to avoid physical harm. Being ethereal also allows her a slow form of regeneration. Extreme light conditions has nullify her ability to phase her form. Limitations are unknown.

Drawbacks: Namely and quite obviously, extreme light conditions. While she can still manifest darkness in daylight, her powers because weaker in these types of conditions, making it essentially her only weakness outside of being mortal.

Personality: Kailyn is a quiet and confident woman. Often keeping to herself as most introverts do, she tends to have a certain spark about her that others notice, a friendly warmth that subtly draws others to her. However her stubbornness and more logically driven attitude can sometimes keep certain types of people away though the enigma of being combined with emotional sensitivity can equally ignite people's curiosity. Though at times when she thinks she's alone or no one is paying attention, it's not hard to see that she is generally depressed, however most people don't bother to ask why.

Brief History: As far as the school is concerned, she was brought in as a teacher not only because she had been admitted during her teenage years, but also because of her unique and powerful ability. She was never a trouble-maker and kept to herself, making it quite lonely when she was younger. Now that she's grown up and employed at the university, she deals with the more unique, less violent powers such as extreme regeneration or phasing abilities. Outside of class she essentially keeps to herself, heading straight home after brief socializing here and there. The other teachers know her only as an acquiescence.

Here there! Figured I'd get back into the RP scene after my vacation (and basically running around everywhere, lol) and saw this lovely post. ^.^ If you want to check out what my limits, etc, typically are - please visit here.

Otherwise I've had some... vague ideas and cravings of late - mostly thanks to watching an anime called Claymore, haha. Basically since we both love the superhero scene, we can definitely do that... but the rundown for the craving (which would probably appeal more to me the more original we get with it) is that maybe.. the heroes have limits and classes. Like ranks of power, SS being some of the most powerful mutants / superhumans, but maybe every hero has a limit and normally surpassing them turns them into monsters. At least this is how Claymore is done. Obviously we can turn this totally around to something else - just an idea!

I've been avoiding saying this because I feel really, really bad about this... but some personal, kind of hurtful things, have come up recently leaving me with hardly any motivation to be posting on this. In fact, I may only be able to post on one of my RPs and only because it's something that is less intensive on me to do so. I am offering my deepest apologizes about this and hoping everyone can understand why I feel I can't continue... if you have any questions or gripes, feel free to say something...
