Hey folks, The name's Shawn and I'm twenty-three years old. I'm Portuguese from the Great White North and I've been roleplaying since I was seventeen or so. Making it around six years, give or take. I prefer a more casual style, but I've been known to put in the extra work for advanced level roleplaying when in the mood. Although I think for now I'm going to hang around the free section due to time constraints and other such reasons. Don't mind to add me on Skype (shawn.alexandre22) to talk and discuss roleplay! Make sure to state what your forum username is though!
I'm currently a manager at a local reptile store which I have been working for nearly a decade now and some of my interests include: Video games, comics, fantasy, the supernatural, art, paranormal, music, sports, outdoor activities, swimming, hunting, collecting knick-knacks, cooking, paleontology, zoology, reading and many other things. I live alone, but have two dogs and two cats, and various reptiles. I'm currently working on a large-scale original causal-advanced RPG known simply as: The World of Caelum.
@Mortimer Zero? No. You introduced your character in a good way. Also, considering history is one of the main courses, your character is rather important, but again... its more like a supporting role (an obvious important one, mind you) given that he's a teacher. Take my advice if you are truly interested in the RPG, but hey if not. I hope you stick around to watch its progress and perhaps you'll change your mind!

EDIT:@Ethan Starks Ha, same here and then sadly for me I'm working the entire weekend... ugh.
Luke's fist period class was visual arts, a class he wasn't too fond off, but he needed to have at least one relaxing course. He wasn't very good at art, but surely decent enough to pass with a healthy grade. He walked straight into the classroom and would once again pick a spot at the back of the class and now waited for the class to start.

Beckham would also head towards his first period class. Unlike Luke, his first period class was one of his favourites: mathematics. A course he is truly an artist at.
Luke nearly died after the comment Fiera made and he watched as Alexi was pushed towards his direction. But just as the two were about to enter conversation the bell rang and now it was time for first period. Luke rose from his seat and looked down at Alexi and told her, "I'll see you around, cold blood." He then winked at her, smiled and grabbed his bag before leaving homeroom, but not before waving back at Joey and the other students.
@HeySeuss I kind of wish that Canada had such flexible laws in terms of self-defense. Mind you, Canada is a rather peaceful place and violence is not something we are known for (media-wise speaking), but still. I think everyone worldwide has the right to protect themselves and to defend themselves and with firearms being common to purchase on the Black Market, I simply feel baseball bats and kitchen knives are simply not an option. Of course, this brings up entirely different can of worms with guns being less strict, but I don't wish to get into that. I just hope people have enough common sense...
I am going to have to drop out, sorry. I have been trying to interact with others by sitting by them and not interrupting what they are doing but most people have already found their favourites to interact while I am left in the corner. And this is going too fast!
Anyhow, enjoy your RP! See ya' people!
Well, that's a shame, really. If you ever change your mind I will suggest creating a student character. I personally feel the RPG is more based around them as I feel they are the main characters rather than the teachers who are more like supporting roles. Call it a damn good intuition.
Jokingly, Luke spoke up and said to Alexi from his desk, "and me. Don't hurt my feelings now, cold blood."

Beck giggled at her confusion, but unlike her he knew exactly what number was his dorm room. "Lucky number thirteen," he said quickly. "I bunk with Luke, that werewolf at the back of the class."
Tsk, tsk, tsk... shame on you!

Considering making a teacher character. I'm thinking of a very infamous and particular vampire. Not sure if we have too many though, but any who... I am thinking of the King of the Vampires himself, Dracula!
EDIT: Frankenstein may also be a good idea (from the 2014 film). Perhaps as a gym teacher?
Luke nodded his head towards Joey leaving him be for now - although there is still much he would like know about this particular werewolf and perhaps more on the werewolf that turned him. But that can be a discussion for another day. Luke was now simply eying the classroom, silently. He gazed at the two new girls who had just walked, but one caught his eye nearly right away. She was loud and acted as if she was the center of attention. He mumbled to himself, "Wonderful, another one of those... awesome." He tried to lay back comfortably on the chair and tried to relaxed a bit by placing one of his hands behind his head and stretching out his legs under his desk. He rested his head on the back wall, simply observing.

"Awe, what a shame." Said Beck. "For what its worth we at least share the same lunch period."
