I have three tattoos on my neck and I hope indeed they keep someone from fighting me... otherwise I'm gonna be in trouble.

There are two ways to truly love someone: Become their best friend and then learn to love them, or love them enough to become their best friend. Either way, you won't be loved back. ;)

I also drink coffee before sleeping. Odd indeed, but it works for me.

The status bar is okay, but the "Friends: You have no friends" message is heart breaking.

Quick PS: This story will contain mature themes. Expect some heavy influence from; devil may cry, supernatural and my own twisted mind.

Demons. Foul, wretched creatures - twisted souls seeking vengeance, chaos and spread their unending hunger for agony and pain.

One day, the question rose to me: Where do they come from? Are they spawns of Satan himself? Simply chaotic creatures brought upon this world as a manifestation of his hatred towards humankind?

The discovery that demons were humans once hit me just like a powerful blow. See, a demon is a twisted human soul; something that was tortured and twisted in such gruesome way, that it changed completely.

We, humans, fought many wars. We laid waste to one another, we commited attrocities and we've sinned. In 1822, we went to war once again - but this time, against demons. We won.

Sealing the gates of Hell, thus stopping those hellspawns from coming back for good. The remaining were destroyed or scattered around, no longer posing any true threat to humankind.

But we knew it wouldn't end that easily... It was all written down in the prophecy of apocalypse. Even before the battle, the outcome was known: We would seal them, we would prevail, but they would come back. When the seven ancients wake from their slumber, the seals will be undone and humanity will perish.

Now, after hundreds of years, the first ancient has awaken. The prophecy speaks of a halfbreed: A nephilim, the only one with enough power to stop them. We can only hope...

So, this is the very basic concept of the plot laid out to anyone who takes an interest in this setting theme. This story will be very character-development centered: The nephilim will be played by my partner and he/she will discover what they are at the very beginning, my only 'requirement' of your character is that he/she had adoptive parents, as their real parents as you could have guessed are not humans.

From my partner, I only require willingness to contribute and collaborate! I will do most of the 'DMing', caving the path and the general direction of the story through my own character. Also, only 18+ - while this is meant to be a fun even 'hack 'n' slash' comparable story with lots of adventure, dangerous situations and etcetera, it will certainly contain very mature themes. Demons in this setting will be gruesome, cruel and will swear alot, especially the humanoid demons.

Romance is a possibility, but only if characters are male/female. I can play either gender, but remember: Your character is a nephilim, mine is a demon. If it happens, it must be tastefully done and not forced onto the story, nor will it be the center of the plot.

The roleplay will take place in PMs. I just feel it's easier for me to control and incase any truly mature scene comes up, we don't have to switch/fade to black. On the latter, by the way, I rarely have any limits, if at all. Just tell me if you have any, though, and I will make sure to respect them.

That's all for now. If you are interested and/or have any questions, make sure to PM me and I will try my best to answer it all.

ᴘᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ

Catherine is an impovishered noble, being trained her entire life in two disctinct ways: The first, how to cope and act with the high society, learning the manners, posture, speech and everything else a noble should learn. The Halden family, however, is not simply a noble family: They are hunters - and not the conventional kind of hunters.

Ever since a young lass, Catherine learnt about different fighting styles and hand to hand combat, she learned how to properly wield a knife, a sword and even blunt weapons. She was trained in archery, knife-throwing and many different methods of killing... many different things. She's a focused, determined lady - her eyes display her hatred and desire for revenge and she rarely finds herself relaxed. Especially since the fall of her family, caused by the death of many members, leaving only a handful of survivors that now scatter the land trying to survive.

She does not miss her days as a noble, with wealth and power - no. She became hardworking, knowing that her place in the world is no different than anyone else. She's humble and accepts fairly easily the difference between sleeping at a lush room or the cold and broken bed of a random inn. This does not deviate her from her ultimate task: To hunt the very creature that killed both her mother and father, to bring her wrath upon everything else until then.

Trust is not easily placed nor accepted by Catherine. She views it as a weakness and trusts only her loyal companion, the black wolf that is treated by her as many treat a dog. The voracious creature appaers to return the trust, protecting the young lass with his very life.

ᴀᴘᴘᴇᴀʀᴀɴᴄᴇ

A tall, slender woman with a natural air of elegance and grace, Catherine stands at 5'8" and weighs roughly 160pounds. Her discolored pale hair is short, cut in an angular fashion with loose strands often being brushed behind an ear, her face is angular and delicate, with an enlongated nose, thin lips and almost naturally narrowed eyes in light hazel color that bears an unsettling wolfish look onto them, her eyebrows are either trimmed or simply small and mirrored and they have a distinct look of distrust whenever she gazes at someone too long. Both of her ears are pierced, with simple pearl white studs earrings on their lobe. She appears to wear no make up at all.

Her body, slender and delicate, yet athletic and graceful, shows that the woman is no foreigner to exercise and training. She carries mannerisms and habits such as a straight posture and determined walk that practically emanates confidence and the resolve of a well trained woman. Her body has definition - the kind that is only achieved through either hard work or a work-out routine - she's no amazon however, the woman is not muscular in any form, simply athletic - she's curvaceous as well, with a plump bottom and wide hips, strong and powerful legs.

Most of her attire is quite simply - dyed dark green linen pants with an intricate needlework on both sides, revealing a small portion of her hips and legs, dark leather boots, a light brown coat with a tight leather and iron belt over it and a sleeveled dark brown dustcloak. There are leather strips around both of her wrists, tightly pressing against the sleeves. Over her left shoulder, a leather cord with a beautiful round iron piece is visible - it holds a satchel against the right side of her waist. On the round iron piece, the emblem of the Halden family is visible.

First things first, I'm unsure if this is truly the correct place to post this kind of thing so I apologize in advance if it's not.

Now, to the actual problem and what this humble brazilian requires the guild's aid for: Descriptions. To be more specific, character descriptions.

Ever since I first started roleplaying back in World of Warcraft, describing characters were never something I did actively as most of the apparel was done with the right gear and the character's model itself, I'd only ever describe things that weren't shown in the model such as scars, a tattoo, a rune, or anything else that was... "extraordinary" in a sense. However, that was... a few years ago, and up to this day I still struggle whenever I have to describe a new character. My problem, from what I can tell, is that I repeat too many words and it feels like a boring read, an uninteresting description. Generic, even.

I use pictures to get an idea of my characters - more often than not, they are illustrations that fit within medieval/high fantasy themes. So I go from elves to dwarves, yet stay most frequently on humans.

As I said at the beginning, I'm brazilian - so english is not my first language. This may be a source of my little issue here, but I like to think that I've been dabbling in english for far too long for it to be it all. I think that it's more of a lack of know-how itself, the lack of the skill required to write these things, perhaps I've not done it enough, perhaps I've not seen it done right enough.

I'm willing to accept any sort of help, really. Even a "here, look at how I've done it" would help a lot. I mean, references and examples are certain to help - especially from more skilled writers than me.

Whelp, that'd be all. Once again, sorry if it's the wrong section or if I'm just being an unbearable fool - and thanks for anyone out there that takes their time to read this and help me out. :3

no, I'm not actively looking for a the godfather/mafia themed story, pardon if you came here looking for that - I just found the title fancy.

ᴡᴇʟᴄᴏᴍᴇ!

This is my likely ultimate onexone interest check thread, where I will place all information about me as a writer, my interests, my current cravings and well, everything else I can fit in. I will try to keep it short and sweet so we can get straight to what matters, but I ask you to have the... leniency of reading it through. On this matter, english is not my first language and therefore I'm very prone to mistakes, especially because I'm returning from an "writing hiatus" that took way longer than expected. In other words; I'm rusty, beware.
I promise that if you take the dust off gently, I'm actually fine gem though. :)

ʟᴇᴛ's ɢᴏ!

Still here? Good. I'm glad the above text didn't you scare you off, this possibly means that we can get along just fine. So, I'll go ahead and state what I'm actually looking for in a roleplayer partner; usually, I would just call this section 'rules' or something, but I feel that putting rules in things that are simple as finding a partner makes it more restrictive and serious than it has to be. This is merely a way to filter out the x from the y, so we both know we're talking common ground here.

My main and most important expectation is that you're willing to create and contribute. I do mostly (generally speaking, 90% of my roleplaying) original content. Worlds built from scratch, ideas that started over as something seemingly simple and became complex - thus, I require willingness to take upon yourself the effort of being creative. I love brainstorming ideas, I love thinking out of the box, I love the cliche as well, just don't be afraid to suggest and we're set.

On replies' length, I'm not really concerned on how much you give me, really. To put it bluntly, be descriptive, but don't overdo it - don't force more length than it has to be. I like my replies short and sweet, something understandable that contributes enough for me to work a reply to. Of course, this means more than two or so lines. Remember: Effort! Makes everything better.

Now, the last thing: Limits, stories and genders. I have absolutely no limits (excluding the things that are more or less extremes); to summary, I will write sex, drugs, violence and and any combination of the three. Anything else, ask first is the way I go. I prefer much the fantasy side of fiction, but I like mostly everything well enough to give it a go. As for genders / romance, I will only do MxF stories if it has romance. I will mostly play male characters, but I can just as easily put some makeup and a rig and pretend to play a female. Note: I actually don't care about your gender outside this website, I focus entirely on the characters and what they are.

ʟᴀsᴛʟʏ!

Heh, I said I'd try to keep this short and sweet and look at this big a$$ wall of text. My apologies, but at least I think it gives you a good idea about me as a person and what I expect as a writer. So, now just to finish this... I will roleplay through private messages and I ask that if you are interested in roleplaying, please PM me here so we can further discuss things. Note that I haven't laid out any pairing list, craving or plot because this is just the very first draft of my interest check. I will update it constantly with these; so for now, if you have a craving, idea or anything you think that you could work with me, approach me! Please!

ᴄᴜʀʀᴇɴᴛ ᴄʀᴀᴠɪɴɢ!

Currently looking for an anime based story with fancy powers, a simple at first but complicated later on plot and other sprinkles of creativity thrown into the mix. If this interests you, shoot me a PM so we can further discuss things!

Otherwise, fandoms are okay as well. As long as we use OC characters! The little list of stuff I'm willing to do:

Naruto
Pokémon
Sword Art Online
Boku no Hero
Skyrim
There might be a few others that I can't remember and I'm open to suggestions as well!
And for originality, there are a few pairings that I'd like to try-- though most are geared up towards fantasy settings. A few examples:

DemonXHuman
DemonXAngel
MageXKnight
MageXApprentice
MercenaryXTarget
MercenaryXRival Mercenary
MercenaryXContractor
Hero of LegendXCompanion

Erm, of course there are many more, but I'm not going to write an extensive list of every possible pairing I'd write about right now. Once again, I'm VERY open to suggestions, so if you'd like to try anything else, hit me up and we can see about it!
@Project Hi. How are you doing?

Hey. A little rough on the edges but still soft on the inside.

By that, I mean that a few harsh events have been taking over my life, but things are prone to get better. ($$$$ problems)

So, have I missed much? I might work on a post, see if I can get back on this in a good way.

Suddenly, Gilgamesh.
@PlatinumSkink The sky?

On a serious note, sorry for the time I'm taking with the posts. I've been busy and a bit sluggish as of late, feeling terribly uncreative with my posts.

I will try to increase my activity here and post frequently again.
@Project I think you may want to reread what Kurin said. Because he was saying that Kiku and Shizuka stole their scrolls.

I mixed up the description info with the dialogue one. Sorry about that.
Sorry I've been making short/bad posts. Time has been scarce.

Anyway, has anything been decided for battles? I'd love to know if there is anything I can do to make things easier and fluid.
