Darkest Before the Dawn: A CYOA Magical Girl Roleplay [Completed]

She could only stare out at the city before her. Eliza had appeared upon the rooftops again, but the dreadful Winter season that had waited for the mahou's return had left her frozen in fear. She regreted not destroying that vacation dimension while she had the chance, so many questions ran through her mind. How long were they gone? What could have caused this? Has the Ebon Mint announced her death, or put her under excommunicado?

What happened to Maura? And the other magical children under her wing?

Eliza had to find them, see if they're okay. Using a bit of her illusion magic, the angel fashioned a hooded cloak to hide her wings and face. It was too much of a risk to be discovered as a monster girl now.

Maura?? Maura, can you hear me?! Eliza tried to use her telepathy to check back on her patron, climbing back down to the ground with her ribbons. Where are the others?!

Before the angel ran off, Maura appeared behind her in a blue flame. Though instead of a girl appearing around Eliza's age, there stood a young woman, holding a scythe appearing much stronger than her Soprono's Cipher.

“M-Maura! You're okay!” Eliza spun around, and gave the Lesser Force a quick hug.

“I'm glad you're alright, but it's not safe for us to be out here for long. Follow me, I'll explain on the way.” Maura said, hoping to get Eliza to a safe place before they get spotted.

“What about Miss Veronica?” Eliza asked, holding the ruby coin in her pocket.

Maura shrugged. “I'm not sure what to do about our...partners, or the scarlet maiden. For now, let's just find the others and figure something out.”

Okay, if Magician/Frei isn't valid, I might go with Death/Mudo (or Hama) due to the persona I have in mind.

Jackson yawned once he got finished with his chores around the shack. "Huh, slow day?" He asked himself, seeing as no one entered the shop yet. Even so, it was still early, and his stomach's grumblings was a reminder of that. "Oh right, breakfast! Jack grabbed his journal and phone, and rushed out to the diner.

Walking around a relatively quiet town like Gravity Falls is rather peaceful, but in this case, is also rather unsettling. Eerie, with all the abnormality sightings and rumors. Kind of makes Jack wish he had some form of self defense with him. But as far as he knew, he should be okay.

Arriving at Greasy's Diner, he looked around for his sister, and anyone else he could recognize. He did see Amelia...with a boy. Suspicious is suspicious, indeed. Though he wasn't going to prod the guy for info. Not yet atleast. So Jack just walked up and sat down next to Ami. "Sorry I'm late!" He apologized, and looked around at the rest. Among them was someone he definitely had to note for later; They looked like someone that just hopped out of a rubberhose-style cartoon! But other than that, everyone was normal.

"Oh, and morning Mr. Pollard, Ami-" Somehow he managed to cut himself off once he recognized an old friend of his. He'd know that stupid grin anywhere. "Jer- JEREMY!?" Nearly jumping out of his seat, Jack had his own stupid grin appear on his face. "Dude, I dunno ether to bro-hug you or remark that I'm now a elf compared than you!" He chuckled.
