After their encounter with the deserter android, Type A No. 2, they decided to return to the Resistance Camp to rest. Yet something happened while they were asleep. "2B! 2B, wake up, we got a problem!" 9S woke 2B up, quickly grabbing his katana, Cruel Oath, before stepping back outside. The battle android was confused at first. Did the machines find the camp? Were they under attack? Getting up, she noticed she was holding some black and white coin-like chips in her hand. Odd. Where did she even find something like that. 2B followed her partner outside, and that's when she realized what he was frantic about. Their room, and the terminal beside it was still there, but it was like the resistance camp was...gone.

"I dunno what happened! I've been trying to contact the bunker for a while now, but it's like something's jamming the signal." 9S explained, trying to fix the terminal with Pod 153. "The transport function on this isn't working either, but- Hm?" the scanner noticed that they got mail from an anonymous sender. No subject or anything. No notification appeared on their visors either.

"Tokens? Is that what these are?" 2B held up one of the tokens, showing it to 9S. "Guess so."

"Either way, we have to get back to camp before Command thinks we deserted the mission. Let's start collecting tokens as soon as possible."

"Got it." 9S nodded, both androids walking off to start looking. "We need one hundred to escape, right? That makes about twenty enemies we'll have to face. Seems easy enough." He said, smiling. Even if the scanner believed they could make it through no problem, the androids were in unknown territory. Who knows what kind of adversaries are out there.
@EchoicChamber

No preference! Just using Ysaline as a placeholder till otherwise!
Halp. Need name ideas. :'D
So I tried hunting a shiny Roselia for my shiny Gardevoir. No luck so far. :/

Also kinda trying to level up said shiny after getting all three sets of stats up (Base, Friendship, AND Contest), while getting as much legends as I can. So that's fun.

Yes ive been playing Alpha Sapphire.
@EchoicChamber

Kagerou Project, right?
@EchoicChamber Oh, I already found one. Might be temporary, since i'm gonna go ahead with the Casino epithet (or fortune).

@EchoicChamber

Coincidence? I think no- probably. Probably.

Gonna take a bit to find the right faceclaims den.

With every fighter's combined effort, they all seemed to be making good progress fending off the horde. With the ground covered, Joker went for a full assault on the demons in the sky, alternating between Arsene's curse attack and shots from his handgun.

They finally made it to the entrance of the tower, when it seemed something, or someone caught some of the groups attention. He looked behind him to see what had caused everyone to stop; A strange, silent soldier, fully clathed in armor and gore. Joker was kinda confused. Was he friend, or foe? Or was he neither, and just happened to be there? Either way, they all knew by first glance that the soldier was dangerous, moving out of the way when the big guy charged forward into the horde.

The thief watched in both awe, and slight fear, as the Slayer made mincemeat out of undead and demon alike. The creatures didn't even get a chance to attack the guy without getting torn apart! Joker turned his focus back on the group when the Slayer dissapeared into the horde, continuing the carnage. Everyone made their way into tower, the thief leaping off the van to help barricade the door.

They were finally safe again, that was good, right? Looking around at the survivors, Joker reminded himself that the killer is still out there, still among them even. He leaned against the wall, keeping a firm grip on his knife as he watched the others, visibly anxious but focused. It couldn't be that easy, he knew better.
