The only time I've shown interest in a Nation RP was something based off Candyland of all things, but it was dead in the water before all of us were able to submit CSes. A shame too,

Albedo @Lugubrious, Linkle @Gentlemanvaultboy, Prisoner @XoXKieroBombXoX

It was either luck, or whatever not evil higher being watching over them giving the group a break from any further attacks. It didn't stop them from staying vigilant, but most of the creatures they caught sight of simply fled before either could act. A small rabbit for example. "Awe." Frisk couldn't help but smile at the sight for sore eyes. They were more than willing to let it hop away.

But then a sudden arrow killing it instantly said otherwise. Caught off guard, the youth's eyes were widened, and their jaw had dropped. What. The. Heck. Their expression barely change when the culprit and source of the smoke made himself known, and made his distrust apparent. As Albedo tried to reason with the bird man, the child hugged themself, deciding to try and ignore the abrupt interruption of peace. Once the bird man gave his piece, Frisk finally spoke up. They weren't even aware they were shivering till now.

"I'm not sure if my friends have pocket dimensions themselves, but the worst I could do is form a barrier-shield thing." They explained. "Our stop is intended to be temporary anyways. We just need to rest and get warmed back up, and we'll be heading back out soon enough. Snowmen ambushed us. If anything, we could help out around here, if you don't want to let this slide for free." Frisk shrugged. Their grip on their weapon remained slack, as if to show they don't intend to fight.

"Damn bitch, you live like this???"

Surprisingly, it didn't take long for him to reach the second floor. Booby traps or not, someone who left their door unlocked was either scatter-brained, or whole-heartedly expected someone to take the stairs. And what awaited inside, as the Timekeeper slowly and quielty opened the door?

His face soon contorted in confusion. For how nice the main floor looked before it's blackout, the floor the doc lived in looked like a goddamn joke in comparison. It didn't even have a mini fridge! Atleast put in something to preserve food that isn't takeout or some shit! He stepped inside, glancing towards the sole electronic in the room. If it didn't need power like the desktop computer, there might be some valuable information here in contrast. As far as Fable knew, it was the doctor's personal computer, after all.

"Hm?" As he made his way over, his boot unknowingly stepped on something. He took a step back and picked it up. Looks like the doctor was cutting corners, if he was spending these large payments to another part of the rabbit hole. But who? Did Justin dabble in medicine as well, or was there someone else that they should worry about? He'll have to take this with him, see what the other two think. The boy folded up the statement and pocketed it.

Looking around, he decided to do a quick sweep around the floor before heading back. If he didn't find anything else useful, he'd move on to the next thing to search through.

But frankly there's no way he's dumpster diving through those trashbags. Some things are best left untouched.

Albedo @Lugubrious, Linkle @Gentlemanvaultboy, Prisoner @XoXKieroBombXoX

Man, am really I that small?? Frisk wondered, seeing as it didn't exactly fit Albedo. Well, they did intent to use it like a blanket, but guess they didn't think it through. The kid quietly listened to the alchemist's reassurances that he'd be fine. Though they didn't speak against anything, they still wished to keep an eye on his condition. As far as Frisk knew, Albedo was just as human as they were, magic or not. "If you say so, but we should stop by somewhere warmer at some point. That avalance had the best of us shaken..." They softly said, letting Albedo pat them on the head. Linkle's expression didn't go unnoticed.

Then there was the matter of Prisoner joining them. The youth understood that the other two could have some concerns over their headless ally tagging along, especially if he really was the guy Linkle sensed was following them. But they had a gut feeling this guy had well intentions.

There was probably some bias from their quick team up, but still!

Albedo tried to stand back up, almost losing his balance in the process. Instinctively, Frisk held their arms up in case he did fall, then sighed in relief when he didn't. Though their arms didn't go slack yet. The child had to get their coat back on after all, carefully grabbing it off Albedo and throwing it back on themself. Then the group was able to keep moving forward.

Frisk decided to walk alongside the group instead of riding Linkle's sled. Atleast for now. The leftover snow from the ambush was compacted enough for them to walk on, luckily. They sometimes looked back to check on how Albedo was doing, even slowing down the pace to let him catch up. He eventually was able to recover enough to keep up like normal. Hopefully whatever idle talking could distract the group from the cold long enough to reach somewhere warmer.

"Over there." The trail of smoke, possibly from a chimney, was what Frisk noticed first. It was a bit higher up the mountain, but the quick rest at whatever-that-place-is could be worth it. Unless it had more bad guys. Then there was the town way too far off for the youth's liking. If they kept going, they could probably make it before the day was up. But then something else might crop up, wouldn't it? The cold would be worse come nightfall. Their brows furrowed in thought. Then they glanced back to the alchemist.

"How're you holding up?" They asked him. "I know I said we should stop by somewhere warm, but I won't stop you if you want to keep moving."

"Going up?"

While he and Leroux had their concerns about Breacher's plan, the elevator finally revealed itself. Guess there was enough power left for it. If the incense from before wasn't bad enough to have Fable cover his nose, the sickening mix of sanitizer and blood did. "Be careful down there, ma'am." He couldn't help thinking the worst of what could've happened down there, and frowned in concern.

Once Breacher left to scout the lower levels, that left the other two by themselves once again. The younger agent was content with waiting. Until Jacqueline suggested he go ahead and check upstairs. His eyes widened in confliction.

On one hand, Breacher told hin to stay by either her or Leroux.

But on the other, nothing's happened yet so far, and Leroux thinks it'll be okay. And y'know, kill two birds with one stone?

On one hand, the last time he went ahead alone... Yeah, not going to even spare a goddamn thought about that! Eugh.

But on the other, this time he'd be prepared, wouldn't he? This time is different. This time was possibly a criminal. Possibly in cahoots with him. A stranger.

...

She was technically a stranger too. Remember that.

After a moment of concidering his options, the boy decided to take Jacqueline's suggestion. "I'll try and be quick about it." He quietly responded, then went and made his way upstairs. Creeping fears be damned.

"Sometimes, I do not have witty thought quotes."

Searching through the physical files almost had nothing of value. While there was just more buisness mumbo-jumbo he didn't have time to sort through, there was something that caught his eye. Blueprints. Not really detailed but good enough to use as a map. When Leroux regrouped with Fable, he simply passed it over to her to hold, which then was passed to Breacher. Either the map was that barebones, or the elevator they found was a recent renovation.

At the suggestion of Breacher scouting ahead again, the boy slightly frowned. "Are you sure that's a good idea? I mean, if the bastard currently watching us can stop the elevator too..." He softly voiced his concern, just in case whoever was watching them through the camera could hear them. Atleast Jacqueline agreed this might go sideways. "Well I can always try and get some temporary power running just in case. But I haven't tried doing something like that yet, so I dunno if it'll work." The Timekeeper suggested.

"We're not gonna have to fight through samurai, are we??"

"Nothing, nothing, she looks clear to me!" He called out. At a quick glance, he'd guess she was doing some last minute bookkeeping as the last one to leave. And judging by how overwhelmed the receptionist was reacting, she probably was innocent. That or the doc didn't keep her in the know about things. Poor lady. Fable looked back at the computer, there had to be more that he could find. "I'll see if there's anything el-"

Before he could search any further, the power cut off. The younger agent tensed up, his hands left hovering over the keyboard. Three seconds. Three seconds that felt too long for the emergency power to activate. Leroux didn't relax yet, and neither did he. All of them turned their heads towards a camera they failed to notice before.

They were being watched.

With Breacher scouting on ahead, Leroux went to escort the receptionist out. That left the Timekeeper to search through the rest of the desk. Physical files that could hopefully be of use to them. He was tempted to try and reactivate the computer with a melody, or knock out that stupid camera, but he didn't want to waste energy before they faced anything worse. That, and there was a chance he could also break the computer in his attempt. Eh, whatever. If he did find anything of importance, he can tell Jacqueline as they regrouped with Breacher.

The robotic esper walked close behind her, ever on his guard.

Albedo @Lugubrious, Linkle @Gentlemanvaultboy, ??? @XoXKieroBombXoX

In the end, there wasn't much to go off of if Frisk wanted to better their magical prowess. They did keep some things mentioned in mind, but all they could do is trust Tatiana's advice and have faith. Linkle grabbed her sled, and once the youth took their seat again, the trio set of once more. Their trek returned to the silence of the woods. Though it was natural for Frisk to be a bit quiet. They were simply taking in their surrounding in a steady train of thought. Though such silence was broken when the Skullgirl expressed her concerns.

"Hm?" Frisk head lifted up to look at her as Linkle asked. It took them a moment to realize what she was refering to. Or rather, something cross their mind. Their face contorted in dread. "I forgot you're technically undead!" They exclamed, shaking their head. "Whatever, even if he was suspecting something, we left before he can act on it. I'm not sure if I could convince him to spare you..." Or anyone else in that group, in fact. Frisk frowned. They really needed to get stronger.

But something else was bothering the older girl. She started to appear anxious, as if she expected someone, something was following them. The child's frown turned concerned. "Is everything alright...?" They softly asked her. But Linkle shrugged the feeling off, asking if either they or Albedo could talk about something. Anything. Well, if it makes her feel less scared.

"Back home, my home, humans and monsters used to live together above ground. So you weren't completely wrong with that. But at one point, a war broke out between the two races. Humans won, and monsters were banished underground. Only the power of seven human souls could break the barrier that separated them from the outside world." They told a story. "But that was a long time ago. Back before I was born. But I wasn't the first to fall underground. Just the first to survive through abnormal means." Frisk shrugged. They continued on, telling tales about their time there. What they've seen and experienced. What they learned, and about the rest of their friends. However long it took for Linkle to calm down.

Though it might take a bit to explain how Mettaton worked.

Eventually the forest dissapeared behind them, revealing a river squeezed in between a gulch. Weird snow piles began to pop up too. Weird enough that Albedo started taking some down. To scare away attackers? Whatever it was, tensions rose until something finally showed it's face. And it was-!

A snowman.

Cubeman? Squareman?

Frisk tilted their head in confusion. They knew a snowman, but never saw one shaped like this. Oh, there was more of 'em. Albedo didn't buy into the underwhelming surprise. And once he cut down the decoy, THEN the real enemies charged forward. Once the kid's soul answered the call to battle, they quickly took to the evasive. Dodge roll here, slide there, any of the smaller snowmen that tried to approach them they'd kick away with some remorse, though that's only if they're lucky to slip by the other two.

"Got it!" Once Linkle called out that they could borrow something from the sled, Frisk made their way back over and quickly looked for anything of use. A snowball whizzed over their head, reminding them to duck. And once something caught their eye, they immediately grabbed it. A gun...sword? Gunsword. Well, they couldn't say they weren't experience in weapons. This'll have to do! They knocked a few snowballs out of the way with the face of the blade, and fired a few test shots at their adversaries as coverfire.
...Y'know what. I'ma put my hat into this ring. I ain't good with speaking but I'll try anyways. Not sure if you only take one type of reference but here we go!

I got a boi, a good lad who will probably get forsaken by God later on, but a good one nonetheless. Finn, aka Fable, known as the esper, the Timekeeper.

I won't get my hopes up if I don't get picked but eh, can't hurt to try. Up to you if you wanna draw him transformed or not!
