Currently in the mood for doing an isekai roleplay, because I just watched the first season of Konosuba, again, and now I'm in the mood to have a character die to wake up in a completely different world than the afterlife they imagined, for my amusement. Anyone else with me?

I don't have much in the way of a setting, but like the idea of coming into a world of superheroes and various mythos like Marvel or DC, with an rpg element which allows people to purchase abilities and level up. Thouugh I'm open to suggestions or recommendations.

@malmshodes Hi there. Nope, I wouldn't say sandbox. It's more mission-based. So its more of multiple choices leading to a parallel progression, instead of a linear one. If that makes any sense.

This sounds interesting, but before I agree to join, this isn't going to be a sandbox rp, is it? I ask because those tend to die out really quickly, at least the one piece one's I've been a part of.

The new world is just our modern Earth so the limitations would be anything a human being could do. But you carry whatever extreme training you had in your past life with you to this new one so if you were some legendary Sword Saint, or some godly scholar that definitely comes along with you.

If you’re curious about magic coming along with you or stuff that wouldn’t be feasible in the real world? That’s stuff I’ll answer when we have more interest so I can knock out more questions all at once.

So will there be magic in this world, and if so, do you have a magic system in place, or will that be something you plan on hashing out as the rp comes closer to being started?

Also what kind of tone will you be going for in this rp? I'm sure there'll be times where it'll lean into different areas, but overall will we be dealing with a typical shonene, slice of life, horror, mystery> etc, etc?
