Leonie Arnold
"The sun is up, the sky is blue, it's beautiful, and so are you." Leonie finds herself quite boring. She’s of average height—5’ 6”—and doesn’t hold herself with high esteem. She finds that she’s got too sharp of a nose, curls that Shirley Temple would be disappointed in, and too large of a mouth. She’s got striking blue eyes and an affinity for baggy jumpers. She’s the farthest thing from athletic—a bit clumsy—and feels that in comparison to the other girls in her year, she’s not a girl who was made to stand out.
Race:
English, Caucasian

Straight
Marital status:
Single
Personality:
Not one for drama, Leonie prefers to operate under the radar. If she were to manage to make it out of school unscathed, she’d consider herself successful. Though she loathes drama and the conflict that arises from it, she still manages to remain neutral among the rest of the kids in her year. One does not necessarily need to be a part of the drama to belong in the class, and it is her goal not to make a mess of herself by involving herself in any way that weren’t absolutely necessary. She tries her hardest to be friendly to everyone.
Leonie is empathetic, and considers herself to be a good listener. She’s an over-thinker with low self-esteem and the tendency to try and find the good in every situation. She’s also very particular about who she trusts; she’s kind to anyone, and will spend time with whoever wants to be near her, but has difficulty opening up to just anyone. She doesn’t consider herself anything special, and has an irrational fear of being left for something better.
She loves the sun, and she loves the water. She’s fond of live gigs, rock music, good food, and happy people. She’s grounded, not rowdy, and mostly very happy. She can occasionally be quite worrisome, though she tends to ebb any anxiety away with a good smoke. She loves genuine people and honest characters, and finds that school is a big waste of time.
Brief History:
Leonie was born into a small family as the only child of Craig and Nadine Arnold. Her parents met at school in Munich, Germany, where her mother was from, married, and returned to the outskirts of London where her father had grown up. It was then that she’d been brought into the world, also known as that shithole, Dagenham, where she’d spent her entire life.
She’d always wanted a sibling, as being an only child grew to be very boring, but she found her entertainment in her father’s extensive collection of records, and her pet dog, Ralphie. Leonie had a very insignificant childhood—the most traumatic thing she’d ever experienced was wanting to kill herself at 13, but every 13 year old seemed to be suicidal anyways, and she’d only thought about it once. She was certainly no tortured soul.
So, again, she was, as usual, nothing special. She spent her time at school, and working at the shitty supermarket, or at the pub with her friends. Her parents were almost sickeningly in love, she lived in a happy little home with a red front door, and wanted desperately to get the fuck out of Dagenham. She wanted to go stateside and spend time in the sun, in the desert or on the beach. She wanted to go to South Africa, or Spain, or Greece. She’d happily have a box on the beach anywhere, so long as it wasn’t near England.
Seriously, anywhere but the bloody whole United Kingdom.
