"This is Dispatch, we've got a 10-50 on Crown Street. Possible 10-100.10-0 advised, how copy? " (10-100 isn't an actual code, but I figured in a world with super powers the police would have a call out for super villains.)

Another officer spoke up through the police radio."10-4. My partner and I are 10-76 to the scene. 10-77, approximately ten minutes."

Fallout pressed a button on the neck of his suit, activating his communicator."I have the 10-50, brothers." He said in his deep Russian accent. The armored hero turned around and started heading in the opposite direction he was going, and began to move towards Crown Street. Despite the massive bulk of the armored suit that contained John, the hydraulics within made movement within it far easier than if they were not present. Fallout arrived on the scene a few minutes ahead of the police. What he saw was much more than an accident.

With only a glance, Fallout could tell something was very wrong. The street was frozen, and there was ice and snow everywhere. It shouldn't be there, considering the season and the fact that the skies were more or less clear."This is Fallout again. Back up might be necessary.." While he may have called for back up a bit prematurely, there was never any harm in being careful. John powered up his laser and slowed to a jog as he moved down the sidewalk. With the amount of citizens running towards him, Fallout speculated that the threat was straight ahead. So the metal clad warrior moved ahead, careful to avoid running into one of the terrified people. The super was easy enough to identify, wielding a sword and dressed for such weather. Fallout approached, training his weapon on the fur wearing man."Freeze." John said, rather ironically.
I'm..

*Dramatic pause*

Around..
I think..

I think we broke Dead..
The entire Ork settlement was in disarray. The Ork boyz lacked the intelligence to grasp where they were or why they were there, but they all felt the lack of WAAAGH energy. The boyz started wandering around aimlessly around the town surrounding the massive mountain, being severed from the psychic energy of the rest of the Ork race, they had temporarily lost their Orkiness. The Oddboyz (Orks who were born to be smarter than the average boy, these are usually pain boyz, weird boyz, and mek boyz.) were the first to snap out of the trance, and began to snap the boyz out of their trances and send them to work. It took some time, but eventually the Orks were beginning to go back to their usual jobs. The Gretchin left their hiding places and raced across the battlefield, and began to scavenge. They took anything and everything that could be used. Armor and weapons would be dragged off to the Mek huts to be re-purposed into Orkish weaponry. Daemon and Human bodies were taken to the cooking huts, to be used as food. Any Ork bodies found would be dragged into the depths of the massive mountain, to give off their spores in the growing chambers.

While all this went on, Warboss Sharptoof was having his wounds treated. He had been gravely injured during the battle, and required cybernetic implants if he were to continue being the Warboss. Within one of the many caves within the mountain, Sharptoof was laying on his back on a metal table. He was surrounded by meks, weirdboyz, and painboyz who were all necessary if this surgery was to be a success. Usually the weirdboyz would only be around for support, but due to the recent cut off from the WAAAGH field, every ounce of warp energy was needed. The surgery took quite some time to complete. During the entire process, Sharptoof was fully awake, and wasn't on any form of anesthetics. Pain relievers were considered too unorky for use, even by the Blood Axes. When the surgery was finished, Sharptoof looked to be some kind of hybrid of Ork and machine. The pain boyz had removed Sharptoof's burned arm, and the mek boyz had replaced it with a power klaw. The mek boyz had also replaced the Warboss's eye with a cybernetic one. Sharptoof had also requested that the Mek boyz replace some of his more vital areas of skin with metal plating.

Meanwhile, in the jungle right outside the walls of the base where battle had been held not but a few hours ago, a lone Ork boy on a scouting patrol had run into some strange new life form. Quite literally, in fact. The boy jerked in surprise when he felt something large bump into it, and the Ork whipped around and snarled. The strange creature that had ran into the Ork was like nothing he had ever seen. The boy sniffed the air, inching closer to the metroid, keeping its shoota pointed at the creature constantly. The Ork would usually attempt to subdue or more than likely kill an intruder such as this floating thing, but the severed connection to the WAAAGH! had affected his instincts. The Ork's tiny mind finally worked out that he should lead it to a nob or oddboy, who would know what to do with it. So the Ork began to step away from the metroid towards the base, saying the least threatening things it could in the Orkish tongue (Which were still rather threatening, if the metroid could understand the Ork.)
Man..

That was a rather long down time. Anywho, I'm going to try to post as I said I would two days ago.
Dark Matter glared at Konrad as he gave his rebuttal. Before he could continue their little discussion, Jason stepped in and attacked Konrad as well. The dark creature watched with anger filled in his heart as Konrad spoke, imagining what it would feel like to slice his throat open and drink his blood. Dark was brought back from his evil thoughts at the sound of Konrad leaving and closing the door that sealed them all within these walls."He's right, you know." Dark crossed his arms and said, speaking to Jason but not looking over to him."He would wipe the floor with either of us, perhaps both of us, in a fair fight." Then Dark's mouth twitched."That's why we don't fight fair."

Dark Matter turned and walked over to his chair where he always sat, and did so. He turned towards the television as it was suddenly switched on. Dark couldn't remember how many of these torture sessions he had watched in this same change. How many people had lost limbs and eyes on that same table. He'd been here too long. When Dark spoke to Konrad, he hadn't been thinking of the girl. He hadn't been considering morals. Dark had only been trying to get under Konrad's skin. It hadn't worked, though. Those talks never yielded much of anything. Dark Matter stared at the television screen in silence. There was a feeling in Dark's chest, one that only ever rose up when someone innocent sat on that table. Perhaps it was pity. Perhaps it was some sick joy from watching a child suffer. He didn't know, nor did he wish to discover which was true.

Dark glanced over at Jason as the boy gave in to rage. Dark was going to shrug it off as him being emotional, but when Jason turned on the guards..He knew something was going to go down. Jason may have snapped, and looked to be about to do something stupid."Jason.." Dark warned."Don't."
Ghost back flipped away from the wolf as Shazam Jr gave them all orders. While Rick didn't know why the boy had suddenly chosen himself as their leader, the plan was sound and they wouldn't be winning this fight without working as an actual team, So Ghost complied. The young hero sheathed his knives, deciding to use his ranged weapon instead to keep himself from being hit by friendly fire. With his gun drawn, Ghost began to fire tranquilizers into the werewolf in the hope that the creature would be as annoyed as the last time he'd done it. Their combined firepower seemed to pin the creature down long enough for their muscle to finish the job with some kind of lightning magic. When their enemy transformed into a human teenager, Rick was surprised. A bit perplexed, even. It was odd to think that some kid could turn into an uncontrollable beast and do so much damage. Ghost turned and looked at Sam as he asked if he and Falcon could treat the feral hero's wounds, and he answered with a shrug."Maybe."

Once inside the jet, Ghost plopped down in his original seat and sighed. His body ached a bit as it usually did from over exertion. That fight with the wolf man was hard fought, and he had been lucky enough to come out of it unscathed. Rick fastened his seat belt, and pulled off his hood and then his mask. Rick's hair and face were sweaty as he whistled."That went better than I thought it would. Only one of us nearly died." He joked darkly, forcing out a chuckle. When Hector introduced C.A.I.S and asked if there were any questions, Rick raised his hand."Uh, yeah. Why do you have a robot in your head?" Rick asked, not fully understanding the difference between artificial intelligence and a automaton.
