John got up and said “I need to research the myth…and then there’s a few contacts I have that can help shed light on this. If I’m right, I might have figured out why you and Serena are linked in the first place”

Serena nodded and smiled and said as they walked in “I do like that detective. She can shut him up. Sorry about the family part…” when they walked out the piano was playing a fast number and hey soon came into few of a grand piano with Mr. Morningstar himself at the keys. He looked up and smiled as he finished playing and stood. “Well isn’t this a surprise! My favorite shadow angel and my favorite immortal taxi driver. I must have good luck today to get a visit like this.” He walked over and hugged Serena to his chest and said softly to her “where have you been? I’ve been looking all over for you…we need to talk”

He let her go and held a hand to Chas “it’s been a while, Chas. How is John? I’m surprised his not with you. And who are these three? You’re quite the bunch this morning”

Hoth walked over to say “let me take a look dear. I am the goddess of battle after all. It’s where you and yugi get it from”

Serena opened her eyes and looked to Yami’s face, a soft smile touching her lips. She reached up and rested her hand on his cheek, just watching him.

Set looked over and finished the glasses on his nose. “Good morning. Are you you two the first ones up?” Hoth looked over and said “good morning my dear Cora! How did you sleep? Are the others awake?”

Serena groaned softly, turning her head as she started to wake slightly.

John looked at her and said “but you are. The bird of rebirth…she was the goddess of spring and rebirth…what if…that’s what we need to find the link to…what if that’s what we are dealing with?”

Drake sighed and said “sorry Chas…just having control issues right now…” he followed Serena and put his hands in his pockets. Serena walked with Maze and said “how have things been going? Anything new I should know so I don’t trigger Luci?”

John said “he could be…might be something linked to the goddess Nyx as well…anything could be possible when it comes to” then he stopped and his eyes widened. “Wait a minute…Nyx is linked to Hades…right?”

Drake elbowed Fia and said “knock it off. They aren’t the bad guys here. If you listened in our time you’d know that”

Serena walked up and hugged maze and said “I’m sorry it’s been so long. I meant to stay in touch but when nasty guys started showing up I didn’t want them to come looking for me here. We need some info and help…we are dealing with a faulty time line…do you think you and Lucy can help? Oh this is Josh, Drake and Fia. I hear you know Chas already. I’m hanging with John Constantine as of late…I didn’t know you guys knew him” she smiled warmly at Maze, truly happy to see her.

Dante grunted as the off music got louder and he leaned on the railing, holding his face. It wasn’t until the wave found a pair in the far side by the bar that their minds were quiet. Nothing going on. But suddenly Dante gasped and used both hands on the railing to stay upright. “What is this…”

Ana waited to cover their backs and when the other two were part way up the steps Ana turned sharply and her eyes flashed. A figure had appeared on the stage, red eyes watching her.

Dante said “just do a scan. See whose not surprised by it and go from there…” he cursed and said “I wish I could do a blood test but it’s too many people…” he felt his head start to hurt from the music and held his face. “What the heck…”

Ana followed into the back of the stage, looking around and said “we are close…I feel them…the scent is strong too…” she pulled the book out and said “stay on your guard…”

John nodded softly and said “Chas doesn’t like Luci cause his a major player…he thinks he has a emotional hold over me…heck, he doesn’t need that to get a hold over anyone…but I know his a good guy…he doesn’t believe it but…I’ve seen demons and even if he is their king…his nothing like them” he sighed and moved to sit down, rubbing his face. “Alright…let’s get on what Drake said. Saying he thinks this is linked to the ones who tried to take Bane?”

Serena smiled and opened the door and said “hey Maze, it’s been a while. I have a few with me if that’s okay?” She shut the door behind her and locked it again out of habit, showing she had stayed here longer then she let on.

She looked around and called “Maze? Where are you?”

Dante nodded and said “she would…she doesn’t want anyone to get killed not like this…” he looked around closely then he stopped as a another music tune was filling the room, not the music being played by the band “do you hear something off?”

Ana smiled and said “that’s the lady you just met. She’s a shifter. Shall we?”

The next morning no one was up early with how the night had gone. Whoever was up first would hear cooking in the kitchen. Set was there making food while Hoth was at the table cutting up fruit. Both in aprons. Adam’s girly aprons.

Set was saying “I’m not sure this is going to be enough food…” Hoth said “relax brother, we can just make more as they wake”
