Look we just don't want the whole of North America being controlled by the fascists.

So in order to fight the influence of fascism, you become fascist yourselves.

Hmmm. Something's odd about that, but I can't quite tell.

Reminds me of a Nation now adays. You know, typically known as the Mother Land and such.

Oy. In the real world, yes. I'll have you know that the Soviet Empire is a constitutional monarchy, however.

Um... the commonwealth is a "democracy" it's just been halted for the time being so no fascists or commies or other parties take over.

A democracy where martial law prevails is hardly a democracy at all, is it?
The world is fascists and empires. Basically.

I think the only democracies are South America and the GEC and the only constitutional monarchies are Greater Russia and Britain. And we're still empires, just a slightly more democratic ones.

The southern Brutes slowly nod, taking in the information. It is a foreign practice that does not make much sense to them but they find it intriguing. Hof gets the attention of Sonya and then says in the Brute language: "Chief?", then puffs his chest out and pretends to call out orders. He is asking if there is a chief and if the Brutes can see him.

"Ekatyrina," she says, nodding in response. She noted behind them the party from the main village that has recently arrived, and called her name, louder this time.

Ekatyrina padded quickly forward away from the few guards she brought with her, and spoke quickly with Sonya for a few moments to find out the situation. She then turned to the Snow Brutes and smiled, and bowed slightly as a gesture of respect. She called the others over, and they joined the small crowd which had formed behind Ekatyrina and Sonya.

"You?" she asked the Snow Brutes. "Your 'chief'?"

A naval presence in the Black and Caspian Seas could also work for deterrence

I have offered to Milkman to use my Black Sea fleet for that purpose if he lets me through the Strait of Gallipoli and the Suez. And I offered to you that we coordinate our fleets for defense.

I don't think anyone has ever actually had a navy in the Caspian. It's just too small.
I never said it "is mine now"

I wrote, and I quote. "You might get lucky and slip through. but china has a huge presence in the pacific now, especially the western pacific."

Also, "Territorial waters, or a territorial sea, as defined by the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, is a belt of coastal waters extending at most 12 nautical miles (22.2 km; 13.8 mi) from the baseline (usually the mean low-water mark) of a coastal state."
I do not think it applies as there is no United nations or sea law. <--im ok with this still being a thing.

I'm just playing realistic in this scenario as things exist today like modern surveillance technologies, submarines, naval spotter planes, satellites etc..

Anyway,
As I am interested to see how that sort of naval encounter between your nation and the Mexican/UTA fleet would be, what if your fleet was already in the area near the Marshall islands. Catching them before going too far in to Chinese waters.

Edit: I am just saying that all this fleet activity so close to Chinese territory is going to draw significant attention and seeing as mexico is on very friendly terms with the Chinese, this scenario is very dangerous.

But legally you can't stop me if it isn't yours. And MetalLover said there was still a United Nations, so I'm operating under the assumption that those sorts of laws still apply.

Indeed. I suppose we'll wait and see.
Chinese battle groups patrol from japan to Australia routinely. You might get lucky and slip through. but china has a huge presence in the pacific now, especially the western pacific.

You can't just say "the western pacific is mine now" though.

Territorial waters, or a territorial sea, as defined by the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, is a belt of coastal waters extending at most 12 nautical miles (22.2 km; 13.8 mi) from the baseline (usually the mean low-water mark) of a coastal state.
United Nations

Unless we've dropped to the point of the flagrant violation of international law. In which case I'm gonna be putting nuclear missiles on the moon.
Here, this is what I was thinking in terms of the path.

Part of that strait should be our waters considering it is equally close to Sakhalin, which is part of Russia.
You have a fair point about the pacific traverse but sadly the circumstances are against Russia intercepting the Mexicans before arriving at india, especially seeing as I'm totally cool with them moving through.

Also, yeah, Milkman is being dogpiled big time.

I think in consideration of what you said we'll probably miss them by a ways but we'll be able to send fighters to harass them from the one carrier in the Pacific fleet. Little aerial skirmish.
