Hey almost a month without a new IC post, that's a new record right?

Between Aweird and Lauder's post was longer, to be honest.
I will post after my test tomorrow or on Wednesday.
Hm, so Mihn when ya gonna post a real post.

Soon. Very soon.

I'm pretending that when I said "this week" I meant within seven days. I'm still good XD

This is troubling. I hadn't realized that demonization was that extreme in Moravia. It's not as bad in Zenovia, where the Moravians are seen extremely negatively due to their belligerence and the fact that memory of the war has been kept alive, as well as perceived anti-monarchism (for overthrowing the King of Qualia), but the ancient Moravians are seen the same way the Europeans thought of the Romans. I guess I'll send my Princess elsewhere, but I'm not sure where.

Would helium be enough for literal flying ships?

Yes. I mean, technically it should be lighter considering a: it's an element alone rather than a compound, and b: it's the second lightest one of those, but for all intents and purposes we can say they're equal.

No matter how naive she might be, I have a hard time believing that she'd be brave enough to go into Moravia. The Moravians have been exposed to generations of propaganda against Kataylans and presumably Zenovii as well; while the government would be smart enough to not kill her for PR reasons, there would be angry lynch mobs after her.

Think of how the Germans under the Nazi regime genuinely thought that Jews had horns and were some sort of monsters.

As in for airships, I'm probably not the best to ask. Moravia doesn't have that many and the ones that they do have are smaller than most other nations' and are different due to a lack of Kavuria.

I'd like to remind the assembled potential buyers that the PRK is one of the world's largest producers of helium. While it's not Kavuria, it certainly works well enough for human purposes.
In regards to the anti-tank problem, you could just use, you know, what people actually used for infantry to disable tanks.

Anti-tank guns, PIATs or RPGs, even regular grenades that stuck on contact or something could work instead of big fancy coilguns. But I have no issue with it as long as it's fair and at least scientifically plausible.

I am no radiation expert or science expert, but I can easily call out BS on this. I know for a fact that uranium needs more power than something a gun or even a heavy ass back pack can produce in order to use as substitute for gunpowder. I'm not even sure if you could get it to work without violently exploding and killing your own guys accuming it would work.

Also, may I ask how the hell did your entire nation get radiation fallout? If that's the case, the entire fucking world would be having some trace of fallout with wind currents and stuff.

In short, where the hell is all of this stuff coming from? How the hell does a former colony have such advanced nuclear tech that they can make guns out of it (that wouldn't work). The rest of the world is most likely just getting started with nuclear reactors and you're chilling over there with uranium guns and nuclear fallout which some how doesn't affect anyone else.

A bit severe, don't you think? But you raise some valid points.
@Willy Vereb

From other sites and prior time on rpguild, I'm used to the whole, "ok you're accepted" being the final ok.

But yeah, you're right. I sent a pm to start the process of history. thanks

With the changes you mentioned, ok you're accepted.

As a physics student I can assure you that there is no mechanic by which you can put a stick of uranium in a rifle and "make it go boom more," as you say. We have no knowledge of uranium or the means to refine it, no substantial basis in atomic theory and definitely no nuclear weapons, tactical or not. Furthermore, in order to create nuclear fission you need some fairly large devices which could not fit inside of a gun even with modern technology.

There's plenty of historical basis for apocalyptic events that didn't involve any nuclear or biological or chemical weapons at all. Take the Russian civil war, throw a famine on top and maybe a pandemic disease, and you've got a similar catastrophe. By no means do you need to use that plot device.
Fingers crossed..

Private POV; a new character that was born sometime and somewhere. Will likely resemble Rambo because... Rambo.

As much as I hate to criticize another socialist nation, some of this technology seems too advanced. Your population is rather high, but that's appropriate as long as you're a relatively undeveloped nation. First of all, tilt-rotor aircraft were invented in the 70s or 80s if I recall, and if you have aircraft you should probably only have comparatively few of them, and your tanks appear very modern even if you don't have any death walkers or things like that.

However, this is Willy's area of expertise, so I would invite him to suggest a more compatible technological level. The idea is that the other continents are "colonial", at least somewhat less developed areas and your nation seems to be both large, populated and of comparable tech. I'm not asking you to revert to biplanes and those treaded monstrosities we call WW1 tanks, but just some sort of meaningful step backwards in the level of military tech and industrial development.

The United Provinces of Aurelia, a fusion of Australia/America of OTL, population est: 54 million, government type: Republic with a three tier political system; National, Provincial, Territory. A fusion of Colonies and Independant states that unified after a political revolution (not!Italia).

I want to check if this is allowed since I've been told that the continent I'm on is our version of Africa...

As long as you're not as well developed as the other nations (as I enumerated to combo move) it seems perfectly fine.
Oh, fine.

Expect one this week.
