Regina sighs as a girl moved towards her. Hopefully she's not too fussed with me leaving...if I even manage. At least it's just one potential witness. But alas, she was wrong, as the girl gestures to another girl, the one she had walked in with. Make that two potential witnesses.

Ignoring them as they sit down, and preferring to continue her examination of the room, Regina turns to see if any other students of interest had entered. So far, not many had made it past the, 'Slightly Odd' category, but one caught her eye. It was a short, haughty looking girl, wearing a big royal gown. This already drew the eye, but it was the girls hands that interested Regina the most. She had always been interested in powers and different creatures, and she was guessing that this girl was either a different species, or a half half species, or maybe just had a cool power.

She is broken from her thoughts as the girl stood up from her chair, walking over in her direction. At first, she thought it was because she was staring, and she prepared a hasty comeback for any hostility, but instead, she headed over to the two girls beside her. "Who gave you permission to stare at me?" Yep, definitely haughty.

Regina leans back, drowning out the conversation beside her and continuing to look around the room.

Each person has a certain amount of 'aura', and Gretchen can feel this energy and draw from it to create objects, cast 'spells', enhance her strength, speed, intelligence, etc. However, she usually only uses her power to enhance her intelligence and create scientific tools to further investigate powers and her other scientific investigations.

Weakness
Aura energy is limited, and if Gretchen takes too much of her own or someone else, that person could become very weak and can go from going unconscious, to going into a coma, to even dying. This could be used to kill an enemy, however Gretchen can only take as much aura as she wants from someone who is willing. If they aren't, she still can, but it is much more difficult.

Personality
Gretchen is a 'geek', and is obsessed with science and discovering how things work. She is obsessed with powers, and will write everything down about each person she meets so she can research the power later and find out new ways to utilise or enhance said powers. She very friendly, often too friendly, and can talk very fast when she is excited. She is extremely smart, and will sometimes go off on intellectual tangents which will leave most people very confused.

Biography
Sera grew up in a nice neighbourhood. She was a rich kid, and was given everything her heart desired by her two loving and doting parents. At first glance, her life looked glamorous and perfect.

However, things were not all as it seemed. While her parents loved her, they certainly did not love each other. Her mother came home drunk almost every night, and her father was a workaholic, spending almost all of his time at his office, even spending nights and weekends there. Her parents slowly started to neglect her, to the point of her even wanting them to divorce so the misery would end.

Eventually, as most of the troubled rich kids in her neighbourhood tended to do, Sera turned to illegal fun to cure her boredom and make her forget about the problems in her life. She cut her hair short, started wearing 'cool kid' clothes, all the stereotypical gangster-y stuff she assumed was actually normal.

She got into bad crowds who slowly toughened her up, made her into the person she is today. She beat people up who disagreed with her, stole from stores, even drove a getaway car for a bank heist. But, despite the work and alcohol haze, her parents did notice the change. They followed what one of her mothers bar friends told her to do, and enrolled her in Fae High School.

Habits
She tends to always cross her arms, and almost always has either a cigarette or a piece of gum in her mouth.

RP Description

In this world, there are four types of blood. Mortalis, Crysos, Argenian, and Aeris. Each blood has different abilities, except for Mortalis, which is the basic blood and only entered the bloodlines in the past few centuries. However, the Mortalis blood has seeped through the system, and now the other bloods are almost entirely extinct. It is practically impossible to meet a PureBlood, someone with only one type of either Crysos, Argenian or Aeris blood in their body. The government know this, and they are on the hunt. The hunt for PureBloods.

You are a PureBlood, and for your entire life you have been hidden away, only exiting your home when you are able to hide the telltale signs of your bloodline.

Are you an Argenian, with the ability to touch someone or something and shape shift into it? Are you a Crysos, with the ability to crush diamond and see in the dark with your enhanced senses? Or are you an Aeris, able to communicate with all living things in ways other bloodlines cannot?

But what will happen when they find you?

TL;DR

You are one of a group of teenagers who have found out that you are a part of one of the three pure bloodlines, and you are taken away to PureBlood Academy to be kept safe from the government, who are looking to capture the PureBloods and breed them to make PureBloods more common.

Crysos

If you decide to become a Crysos, you have the following abilities:
Enhanced Senses: Seeing, hearing, feeling, tasting and smelling are all enhanced.
Enhanced Stats: Strength, speed, intelligence and stamina are all enhanced.

You also have the following weaknesses:
Overuse: Overuse of a certain sense or ‘stat’ may fry it, leaving you with little and, in extreme cases, no use of that ability. Cases where this may happen include running long distances - speed and stamina will deplete, in some cases also strength (sprinting for about 15 to 20km or more, running about 30 to 40km or more, also depends on character), seeing for an extremely long distance - eyesight(across a large city, across an ocean, looking to see something microscopic from a distance).

Argenian

If you decide to become an Argenian, you have the following abilities:
Shapeshifting: You are able to touch something and change into it, whether it be an animal, human, or item. Not buildings or vehicles however. You can change into the last thing you touched at any time, but nothing before that. If you change into a person with an ability, you will not have their ability.

You also have the following weaknesses:
Mixed Up: If you shift into too many items in succession, or shift into something too large or against the rules (a vehicle, building or similar), you will become ‘mixed up’, a strange looking mix of different items and people. You will more than likely be unable to do anything, and will have to hide until it wears off.

Aeris

If you decide to become an Aeris, you have the following abilities:
Animal Connection: You are able to communicate with an understand absolutely any living thing, plants and trees. For plants, you communicate with them through your mind, and with animals, you either talk to them and they understand you and vice versa (but in their animal noises), or you talk telepathically. Humans is normal, but you also have telepathy with them.

You also have the following weaknesses:
Frightened Attack: An Animal or plant may be quite shocked and frightened when you communicate with them, and could fight back with their minds, leaving you hurt from a scale of simply winded to full on physical damage, depending on the animal. Similarly, they may not want you to communicate with them, ending in the same result.

Rules

- No meta gaming or OP Characters
- Characters must be from 13 to 18 in age, bloodlines are discovered around these ages
- One bloodline per character
- About medium length posts or longer (I think about 7 to 10 lines is medium-ish), unless otherwise needed
- Appropriate grammar and spelling is appreciated and expected

Please note: One of the Bloodlines will be rare, but I won't tell you just yet, so you'll just have to guess if you want to be rare. ^_^
