<Snipped quote by Meta>

Mm. I don't know that they did so, but I wouldn't be able to convince you even if I felt strongly about that.

How would you know that if you don't try?
<Snipped quote by Meta>

Mm. The only darkloid to not be destroyed or absorbed, a former human essentially avoiding a permanent death so complete that it would be impossible to recover from... A human fighting the things that Father did, doing the things to himself that he did, in order to be able to do what he felt he needed... Is that not centered around survival?

It's about doing what nobody else could. Look at our olders, they proved how much better they were than anyone else, and didn't have to worry about survival.
<Snipped quote by Meta>

I'd argue that our history is survival. Something that Dawn is constantly managing despite her challenges. As for me, I have no desire to be as important as our parents were. I don't see a reason to be, and if you consider what others did due to them, it would be nigh impossible anyway.

Our family's history is turning "nigh impossible" into absolute. If survival was all there was to it, dad would never have become so great.
<Snipped quote by Meta>

Mm. I believe you might be missing the purpose of why I said it. It's not a matter of who's "better," it's a matter of how you see the rest of us in terms of how we try to improve ourselves. It would be far more effective, and less likely to be misunderstood, if you didn't hide behind sharp statements. Claiming to be the only one trying to do something, especially when one doesn't actually feel that way, is only going to discourage the rest of a group.

Okay, then what is anyone else doing? How is Dawn seizuring in her room living up to our history? How are you going to be as important as dad, or mom?
<Snipped quote by Meta>

I believe your wording was something along the lines of... "I'm the only one trying to better herself, I'm the only one trying, I'm the only one who's going to live up to our family's name..."

Yyyyyyyeah, I don't care if the rest of you are better than me. I wish you were! Then I wouldn't have to worry all the time!

<Snipped quote by Meta>

Mm. Knock three times if you need help, Dawn.

*Turns back to Stella*

Our conversation was about how you view things. I specifically said that we are all planets to you. You view yourself as the center of our siblings, the star that needs to shine for everyone to see how bright it is. The other three of us are just satellites, byproducts. You don't see us as having what you believe we need, and ignore our attempts to be better as not enough, if you acknowledge them at all. I appreciate that your interpretation had us all as equal, special things, though.

Because you have me all wrong. You didn't listen to what I said!
<Snipped quote by Meta>

Incorrect, but that's a good way to see it instead. This harkens back to the conversation I said it in, though. You see things a specific way, and there are benefits and disadvantages to that.

*I knock on Dawn's door twice*
Are you alright?

Well what did you mean?
<Snipped quote by Meta>

Hmm? What did you discover?

All planets revolve around a star. For us, the star is our family and especially dad. Even though they're smaller than the star, the planets are all impressive in their own way.
<Snipped quote by Meta>

Mm. Not that you would consider.

*When you leave the room, a thud precedes an irregular banging noise*

Yeah, I guess not. I solved you puzzle, anyway.
<Snipped quote by Server>

I'll wait for you to say something.
*Leaves the room*
