The Citadel was bustling with activity, the large space station now an icon for Earth, a reminder of what the united races could achieve in the face of certain annihilation. It sat as a beacon, a reminder of what could have been. Although the losses had been great, the combined might of the various species allowed swift restoration of the Relay's, prompting a further expansion expedition years later to new and unexplored systems.
With this new exploration, contact with the Avian race of the Raloi had been re-established, the welcoming of them into the inter galactic community officially allowing them a seat into the new Government, all races receiving a spot to prevent the favoritism that had almost cost everyone their lives in the prior war with the Reapers.
Although weary of them, the Leviathan and Collector races were soon initiated into the galactic community by the other sapient races, planets set aside for their own colonization as a show of good will and forgiveness.
As of late, more and more reports had been cropping up of explorers finding and being killed by remaining Reaper forces. The problem beginning to create unease among the population aboard the Citadel, threatening to cause panic with the idea of the sentient Machines returning to finish the job. To combat this fear, a galaxy wide statement made by the Council had gone out, a proposition by Council member Sparatus had been put forth to assemble small strike teams to be sent out, to seek and destroy the indoctrinated individuals if they could not be reclaimed and reconditioned for society by the Leviathans.
Applicants had been sparse, comprised mostly of surviving Spectre's and N7 ranked Humans, with few STG members due to the heavy losses they'd sustained in the war. Surprising many, some Geth had applied as well, wishing to show they truly wanted to be part of the intergalactic community.
Nearly 12 teams had been assembled, the 10th team sent to train at C-Sec within the newly refurbished Presidium.

OT patiently stood in a large room, observing the few C-Sec members that passed him as well as what he could only assume were members of the 10th team he'd been assigned to. Although he had willingly signed up to join this task force, he under estimated how inefficient the organics could be with their processing. He would advise the use of Geth to aid them with increasing their system effectiveness to prevent such issues on future.
