We'll get along just fine if you like power metal, that's all I need to know

Welcome to the Guild!

Hah awesome, thanks dude! Also KLK is one of the few animeses that both me and my partner have been obsessed with at some point.

@MetalI did ask, yeah. 😁. Sounds like you’ve had/have a very enjoyable experience and passion for the genre. What’s cool is music 🎶 is universal it could translate to something else for each and every person. But the sound itself is recognized by all. Composing would be really cool, someday I might do that, have you ever wrote songs?

Yep I'm very passionate about music I like! And no I've never composed music because I'm not very musically creative!

This is my RP; it has lasted for a year and several months now:

Noble Arms: The ASEAN War.

Hey thanks dude! It looks really neat and extremely in-depth but unfortunately I'm not into modern political military RP! I appreciate the invite though!
@GarethUh, shit. Well going by my avatar and signature, I'm really into Keldian right now, really nice spacey power metal! HammerFall got me into power metal in the first place twenty years ago, I saw them in 2017, and I devour every Iron Savior album that comes out. Edguy was awesome when they still made music. Gamma Ray, Helloween, and Blind Guardian for the power classics, I love Dynazty and Fellowship for the serotonin boost, and Antti Martikainen makes a few great instrumental tracks. Primal Fear and Rage when I want some heavy power. Avantasia, Ayreon, and Exlibris when I want something melodic. Helion Prime and A Sound of Thunder are awesome American power bands.

As for thrash and speed, I'm into Gama Bomb and Municipal Waste lately. They're funny. Annihilator is cool, and Gwar is a riot.

Folk, I'm obsessed with three E's: Eluveitie, Ensiferum, Equilibrium. Turisas and Alestorm too. Does Running Wild count as folk?

Kambrium and Aether Realm are my go-to melodeath bands. The first Wintersun album was great, and I'm starting to get into Soilwork.

Stratovarius is the best neo-classical metal band, but Dark Moor and At Vance are damn good.

For the classic metal bands, Judas Priest and Iron Maiden are the best. Painkiller is probably my favorite album ever!

Wow. Uh, sorry. You did ask!
HEY DUDES! I'm Metal! I first got into forum roleplays over twenty years ago, off and on, and I'm finally at a point where I'm ready to get back into it again!

I love big, sweeping stories and epic adventures that combine fantasy and sci-fi and darkness and light, tales that subvert expectations and challenge stereotypes about how things are and what things should be. The shadows can be loving and empowering, just as the light can be harsh and hostile and utterly alien. I'm terminally optimistic, and I like stories where the characters triumph over adversity and are put through hell to earn their happy ending.

I like goblins!

And metal! Power, thrash, speed, folk, and melodeath. Powerful, epic, wailing guitars, thundering drums, hearty singers. Songs of fantasy adventures, sci-fi battles, self-empowerment and hope for the future!

Also I'm gay as hell.
