Beetlejuice is trying to enjoy his shitty Hungry Man frozen dinner and the Maitlands make him sing Day-O to try and scare him

LYDIA

This RP tells the story of the demon bio-exorcist, Lydia, in her pursuit to be seen and free again. When Barbara and Adam Maitland fall though the floor of their beloved home, Lydia sees this as her opportunity to get what she wants. If these recently deceased can get a living human to say her name three times, she will be set free. However, the Maitlands prove worse at being scary than one could ever imagine, and the new resident of their house, a slob by the name of Lawrence Betelgeuse, is not impressed. But, this breather being able to see the dead changes the name of the game, and now Lydia must figure out how to trick him into summoning her so she can be free once more.

"Nuh uh, get your own!" Beetlejuice flew up to the ceiling with the bowl and began pelting everyone with popcorn. The Maitlands were overwhelmed at first, but seemed to get the idea that peace would be restored if they provided food for everyone. Pizza was ordered.

Once everyone was settled down around the kitchen table and the living room, the subject of where Lydia and Beetlejuice would be staying came up.

"You're always welcome to come back," Charles offered. "I know I can be...strict, but we can work on it."

"Maitlands, here we come!" Beetlejuice grinned widely and he shoved them all together and poof'd them to a familiar, bland living room. "Where's hot stuff one and two?!" He flew over to the couch, where both Maitlands appeared to be in the middle of a movie night, and wedged himself between them, arms over their shoulders.

Barbara shrieked.

"Beetlejuice?!" Adam cried, pulling away from him before he could be assaulted like usual. Adam looked at the group of people now in their living room, frazzled. "Lydia?! Charles?! Who are all these people?!"

"I hope you have enough popcorn to share with the class, A-dog," Beetlejuice was helping himself to their popcorn bowl.

"They're...very colorful," Charles commented. He was trying at least. Iggy came forward and offered her hand to shake, and Charles seemed pleased enough that she had decent people skills. His eyes lingered on Ash, perhaps wondering if that was yet another demon.

"Lyds, you didn't tell us your old man was a cop," Riff Raff muttered to her, looking a little uncomfortable.

I was thinking of keeping them more true to their characters, but just in different positions.

Lydia could be the ancient demon with reality bending powers, who perhaps ran away from the Netherworld because her father, big wig of the demon council, Charles, is marrying Delia. Lydia isn't over her mother's (another demon) death by sandworm, and resents her dad and Delia for moving on so quickly.

When her dad finds out she's run off to the living world, he gets mad and curses her with the name curse so she can't get too out of hand. But Lydia figures she'll find some dumb human to say her name.

Enter some dumb human: Lawrence Betelgeuse. His father recently died, and his shitty mom won't leave him alone. He owns a used car lot, makes gimmicky commercials, and is probably clinically depressed. And also clairvoyant.

Lyds gets intel that the Maitlands are gonna die soon, so she stakes out their house, thinking she can trick the labradoodles into getting BJ to summon her. When the Maitlands' die, BJ, who moves into their house (cheap because they died in it!), is accosted by the not-so-scary Maitland ghosts, and the somewhat scary Lydia demon.
