Current Anybody wanna read a sloppily planned YA fantasy about a demigod that discovers the concept of love and family in a world that literally bends over to hate him? No? Yeah, me neither ;_;

Would probably get back into RPing if I wasn't writing my own stuff. And working.

Lammy let himself in, helping himself to one of the seats as the hostess informed the crew on the situation. Sounded like she didn't know of a way to get out of this dimension either. Not without risking a life, at least. Naturally, this upset the druid, making him sigh as he began to slump into his chair. His expression stayed neutral, but the somber thoughts were there. "Now I actually regret not going back home with Amaya last week." He thought. Alongside that, there only seemed to be added stakes to the already bleak situation. "Can't go out after dark. Don't trust the people that could get us home." Just to get a good gauge on time, Lammy meandered over to the door, just to take a look outside. "Yup. S'grey and winter-y out. Still kinda light out, though." He mumbled. It looked like evening would be upon the land before they knew it. He gave thought to searching for the Vistani right now, while they had the chance. The thought of never returning to his family made him really anxious.

As he returned to the group, the hostess Hopestone offered Eranah a drink. Made the druid realize he hadn't had a drink since he shared one with his father on his 21st birthday. Gave him brief thought towards the passage of time. "Geez, has it really been that long already?" He sat back down. "Can I get a drink too? Something to get my mind off of all this. Something not too magic-y either." Lammy asked with another tired sigh.
Ezra was quick to rush off into the brush, bounding off of boulders and swinging from low hanging branches. "Hey, you keeping up back there, B?" He asked his Oshawott, who could was having a little problem staying beside him, but was still managing to keep up the rear.

“O Shaa!” ”Naturally!” She replied, trying her best to sound casual. He slowed to a stop to accommodate her. He had a quote in mind as he stroked at her fur. "I only went out for a walk and finally concluded to stay out until sundown. For going out, I learned, was really going in." For several reasons, this little saying confused the little Oshawott.

“O...osha? Otto shawott.” ”...Huh? You weren't even walking though, you were running.” She replied, causing her trainer to chuckle. "It was just something my grandfather used to say when we would go out for morning training. You just reminded me of my younger self, just then. Come to think of it, it's probably why I like being outside so much." He thought back to moments in his youth, about the hiking trips they would venture out on, or all the new pokémon they would meet. Then he thought about sparring again, and realized that Alix also walking the same trail he was. She was just moving at a much slower pace than he was. He waited a second for the sporty girl to get closer.

"So there was something I was wanting to get off my chest," He began. "Have you had any plans for what you would be doing for sparring while on the road? Any sort of regimen or anything? I'm used to having human partners when I spar/work out. As much as I trust Brie here, i'm sure she couldn't spot me." He added with a chuckle.
No objections here.
"Cool!" Adrian replied, a little surprised Ephraim actually gave in. In the forest, Adrian approached the nearest tree, and slipped off his flip-flops. He always did his climbing better when he was barefoot. "I'll take the high road, you guys take the low? Or not." Adrian usually wasn't the one to give orders, but he knew which way he was going. Rolling up his sleeves, he began to put some of his some supernatural skills to work. He ascended up the trunk, reaching for branch after branch, hand over hand. He rested on one particularly thick branch, one obscured by the canopy. "Guess i'll try an' play the scout this time 'round..." He mumbled, checking for a clear path along the treeline.
If you want to be, sure. It's not entirely necessary. Or, you can be off doing your own thing.
@Weird Tales That's coming at some point, actually. @LadyTale wanted the beginning to really just be character interaction and development, and the action and plot was gonna come in later (mentioning you in this post so you can pop in and re-confirm; don't want to make it seem like i'm speaking for you)

@Yorutenchi Well, right now'll be the best time to pop back in! (seriously, you haven't noticed? It slowed to an hilariously upsetting crawl.) Seeing as this was meant to be the character development phase, honestly nothing here would be really be relevant to your character (unless you want it to be. I mean, Beanna was in the scene with the encounter on the target range, have her mull over what went down in that if you need a jumping off point).

Otherwise, take this chance to flesh her out a bit. Maybe she has friends, maybe she prefers to be alone. Establish your own little supporting cast, if need't be. Take a chance to get invested!

Kind of glad you replied, I wanted some clarity with your character. Beanna's character pic: is that an accurate drawing? Does she have the pale skin, the yellow eyes, the...three sets of ears? (those are ears, right?)
Adrian proceeded out alongside the two, brushing his way past the massive plant vines dragging Ephraim out of the cabin. He snickered at the sight, comparing the situation to a group of girlfriends dragging their awkward friend out to the club. "C'mon boys, if we can't get the drop on Nyct, we can probably spook her students instead!" He sounded pretty excited. It was something to do, if anything. Eager, Adrian made a brisk pace towards the forest entrance.
"I don't think he'd know the answer to that..." Lammy trailed off unsurely, wondering if the sour archer was really paying attention. He clearly made mention of someone who could provide better insight to the body snatching weather anomaly. "Okay...Crissie Hopestone..." The druid meandered verbally, staring down the establishment this experienced "Mist-taken" owned. "Well, guess she's our only lead so far. Might as well check this place out, see what info she's got." He gave the Sergeant a thankful shoulder pat. "Thanks for all your help, elder." The druid replied with gratefulness.
Alright, i'm looking for a little closure. Rather get an update on players rather than growing anxious and frustrated by being left in the dark.

A question, @TheHangedMan@Athoriel@Weird Tales@Yorutenchi@Vishtaspa@Adamina What can be done to get you boys and girls back and wanting to post here? I am open to begging. Who's willing for a little revival?!

...honestly, i'm just a bit tired of the 'dying RP' streak I've seemed to stumble into. It's disappointing every time.
"Course, ain't so fair these days...ain't much of a haven, neither." As the Sergeant led the group into the city, Sheeva was being pretty catty for a bird. "SQUAWWWW! (No kidding, gramps. This place is a dump.)" She mentioned casually. Lammy sighed at the situation, and her comment. He scanned the solemn, desolate landscape, devoid of people or general upkeep.

"Wait a second, 'Mist-taken'?" The query came completely out of left field, blurted out by the dingy druid himself. "So this has happened before? We're not the first?" He kinda felt like he just adding to the list of questions that would no doubt stack up on the Sergeant. "What happened to the last ones?" He asked. Even if the last incursion happened decades ago, he figured whatever happened was still pretty significant, seeing as there were stories told about it.
