Definitely interested. I'd suggest setting up a Discord instead of using PM. It effectively works the same but you can use it to chat in real time as well.

That is a good idea, I will certainly give it a go (never used discord before but my friend does so they're going to show me XD)
XD It will be a mission. But for the set up I want it requires more of a larger group haha.
Cool :) I'd like at least 2 more expressions of interest before we start looking into everything else but anyone else who's interested after that is more than welcome to hop in until we get the IC up and going.
@Blazion As long as they have redeeming qualities yeah :) I mostly added this in because I saw another walking dead rp and a guy on it was basically like 'yeah I enjoy hunting walkers and people for sport. It's fun' and I just sat there like 'WHY ARE YOU PEOPLE WITH HIM!' I mean I'd like to approve all the character sheets beforehand anyway so hopefully won't have that problem.
Yes, it's another one of those, go sue me. But I thought it might be fun so we'll see if there's any interest.

A few rules to start off:
-Quality over quantity: I would prefer if this RP stuck firmly into the 'casual' category. For me, that means at LEAST 2-5 solid paragraphs (200+ words minimum)
-I'll personally be playing more of a GM role, so if things start to slow down chances are Ima throw a herd at you or an NPC, encounter something like that to pick things up or PM some people to give them a nudge.
-I was thinking of keeping it more fun and casual but if people would prefer to go more formal and structured (eg stats, dice rolls, etc) we can certainly talk about it.
-Feel free to not get attached to your characters and kill em off, play multiples, etc. Not everyone is going to survive, it's just more realistic.
-On the note of realistic not much is out of bounds in this RP, so things may get a little dark a little gorey so if you're sensitive to things like that maybe this might not be the RP for you.
-No asshole. IC or OOC. Like your character can be mean or weathered or weary but if they have NO redeemable qualities then they're gonna die. I will make sure of it. No one wants to play with an asshole.
-The setting will be (somewhere in West Virginia) about a year into the breakout, just so everyone has a bit more of an excuse to survive. (Also I don't live in America so the only things I know about it is what I've read off google so I apologise if some of my facts may be wrong)

***A big thing I would like to try with this group is that we're gonna start a little differently. I plan to have 'groups' formed pre-IC start. So bring your friends, or make new friends because the way I'd like to start is to have a 'main' group of about 4-5 (players) who were established, had to move on, and are now in more of a crisis situation who encounter another group of about 3 who are still established (and by 'established' I mean have a relatively safe location with enough supplies/ food/ etc that they're relatively comfortable), maybe a group of 2 who meet up as well but who are struggling, see how we go.***

So what that means is there will be a bit of groundwork to do before the campaign starts, a bit of back and forth PMing to establish how you all met, what you've been through together with your group, where you came from, why you're here, etc but it'll also be a good way to make sure everyone can commit.

Please feel free to post here with any interest, comments or questions :)
First off, just a couple of ground rules:
-I tend to post roughly 300-600 words per post and would like something similar from you
-I prefer to roleplay over PM
-Please PM with any interest or question :)

Growing up on in a secluded farming town may be for some, but others will always feel the call of adventure in their hearts. After living a life hearing stories from travellers about the great wonders of the world outside one villager decides it's the life they were meant to lead. But not without their best friend of course (You can decide whether you’d like to be the instigator or the one who tags along as well as your degree of enthusiasm towards the idea)

They set out with one goal in mind; to reach the nearby city and join a faction known as the Dawn Guard, a group of people dedicated to helping out the residents of the land, for a small fee of course.

However, after time spent with this group, it becomes apparent that everything was not all it seems to be on the surface. The group hides a dangerous secret and while one character is intrigued and even eager to embrace this secret, the other is disgusted by the very idea and leaves and the pair of best friends now find themselves on opposite sides of a battle they never knew existed. (You get to choose which side you'd rather take, just remember we'll be focusing primarily on the Dawn Guard group so your main character up until this point will likely become a secondary character should they chose to leave)
*Please note this RP will involve doubling
~BUMP~

-This RP will involve doubling
-I would like to RP over PM but I can be persuaded to do it over thread
-Can range from fairly PG to M (but I am stern on a fade to black rule)
-Please PM with any interest or question :)

So something I would like to do with this RP is give you a bit of choice as to which character you'd like to take over, I don't mind playing either and changes can easily be made to the personalities of either this is just a basic concept to let you know the nature of the RP. As such it may be a little messily written because I need to try and word it in a way where it's very open for change. Some things I'm pretty firm on but a lot of changes can easily be made, just ask :)

Chase smiled gently in reply before shrugging his shoulders slightly. "Not... personally, no." He replied in a somewhat melancholy tone. Ture; as close as he was with his family, both immediate and extended, he did not know the true inhabitants of the town proper that well. "But if you leave a flyer on the noticeboard in town I am sure someone will pick you up on the offer." There wasn't exactly a lot to do in Port Byrne with the nearest large town with any decent shopping or exciting things to do being nearly an hour away. He was sure some parent would jump at the opportunity for cello lessons for their child so close by. "Or there are a few other small towns nearby as well where you might find some interest."

Taking a few steps back he moved towards the door his smile became easier and more light-hearted. "I better get started on bringing the rest of those boxes up for you," he began, pausing at the door. "You can just stay up here and unpack them if you'd like, I'll do all the heavy lifting." Heck, it was what he was here for and really he didn't consider it that heavy. But it better to get this out of the way so that it didn't get too late. There was still a lot of work to be done, from the looks of it. As he reached the bottom of the stairs he noticed all the still unpacked boxes. He could ask her about Julliard once it was over and, maybe, if he was feeling particularly brave and she seemed inclined to say yes, he could invite her camping.
