We entered orbit an hour since and aim to make planet fall once all equipment checks are complete, ill preparedness begets ill discipline. Ill discipline betrays a weak mind. A weak mind begets Heresy.

The planetary defences of Raynoth IV have been on high alert for the past century, they are reportedly expecting an attack any year now and enjoy regular patrols from the Imperial Navy and a sizeable standing garrison.

I rate their outward defences formidable.

Their internal defences, however...

Reports have reached our Order of possible corruption, rooted deep within in the seething Hive below.
Potentially spawned in response to the constant threat of attack.
The Heretic will ever turn towards anything which may offer salvation of the flesh, with no thought to the damnation it may bring.

My loyal Warband and I will root out this corruption, whatever it may be, with fire and steel if need be.

Moving from town to town, job to job until one notice board bore a flyer different to the usual Wanted Posters...

Alright. If its Inquisitor any idea what Ordo it will be? Personally I'd be most interested in Ordo Malleus for a hope of making a Grey Knight

Ordo Herecticus I'm thinking.
The intent is for a small Warband to root out the corruption of "Something" in the depths of an Underhive.
A Grey Knight may be a little too overqualified for Gangers and Cultists.

I'm potentially interested in this, so long as whoever is in charge of the whole thing can tolerate abhumans. Got an old ratling character I've been wanting to run.

No, this Inquisitor does not have a huge problem with Abhumans, in fact he has his own very loyal Ogryn bodyguard ;)

I have a mind towards putting a small band of dedicated players together to make up an Inquisitors (or potentially a Rouge Traders) retinue.

I'd start off with a fairly straightforward adventure, possibly a bloody slog through an Underhivre on some Throne forsaken planet followed by the potential for more adventures to follow if things go smoothly.

Really just looking to see if anyone would be interested.

Appearance:
Tall, broad shouldered, sporting immaculate cavalry whiskers and a tousled mop of dark curls.
Usually to be found clad in riding boots, cavalry trousers, black silk shirt, red wool tunic, leather cavalry gauntlets and puffing on a cheroot, with a sabre and pistol sheathed at his hip, Flashman strives to cut a dashing figure at every opportunity!

Powers/Skills:
Former soldier, daring horseman, expert fencer and not a bad shot either.
Oh and damn handsome too, if a chap does say so himself!
Bloody lucky!: Somehow, ole Flashy always seems to come out of deadly situations smelling of roses, as his chest full of medals and long service history will attest. Although just how much of his reported heroics and victories were down to skill and sound judgement, remains a mystery.
Flashy ain't one for bragging, don'cha know!

Personality:
Gentleman, adventurer, former soldier and an all round stand up fellow of great dash and daring do!
FLashman is loud, proud and hearty, good on a horse, good with the bottle and handy with a blade.
Tally ho and into them chaps!

History:
Flashman, late of the elite 69th Hussars ("The Naughty Hellfires), a Cavalry regiment of no small renown, has now returned to civilian life looking to take up employment suitable to a dashing an heroic chap such as himself!
The Wolfs Den agency seems to offer just such a fresh challenge to suit an old soldier seeking fresh adventure, be it in hot pursuit of a miscreant, following the trail of a complex mystery of a daring charge up the stairs and a courageous duel to rescue the fair damsel in distress, ole 'Ace' FLashman is ready for the fray, medals and whiskers to the fore!

Game of Thrones

Ser Richard Stryker

Name: Ser Richard Stryker

Appearance:
A tall, broad shouldered man with a weather beaten face and close cropped blonde hair.
Stryker bears a vivid scar across the left side of his face and a once handsome nose that. has been broken in multiple places
In the cold climes of the far North, The Ranger is almost always found clad in sturdy boots, gauntlets, leather breeches and shirt, wool doublet, gambeson, chainmail and thick furs, all black.
A thick leather belt at Richards waist holds his Broadsword, pouch, dagger and hip flask while a pair of spare knives are thrust into his high boots.
Stryker also carries a large, double handed Wildling long axe usually found either slung across his broad back or resting easily over one shoulder.

Biography:
A lowborn Hedge Knight from Storms End who won his Knighthood, horse and armour in a card game, Stryker spent most of his life on the road.
Sleeping in ditches or under hedges and taking work where he could, the impoverished Knight took part in a few skirmishes and Tourneys, preferring the meele to the joust.

At one such Tourney, the wedding of some minor Lordling, upon finding Meele's were not customary at such affairs, Stryker entered the joust and promptly lost his horse and armour when he was unseated by an unknown Knight bearing a snail as his sigil.

Without a horse and armour the Hedge Knight became first a Mercenary then a Bandit, preying on trade caravans as they made their way from the Capitol up the long and dangerous Kings Road.
However it wasn't long before the Gold Cloaks caught up with him, wiped out his band in a small yet bloody skirmish and dragged the disgraced Robber Knight back to Kings Landing in chains.

It was there Stryker was given that simple, age old, choice, The Noose or The Wall.

Upon arriving at The Wall, fervently wondering if he had made the right decision, Stryker's past combat experience and tarnished title carried him through his training and into the ranks of the Rangers.

Richard Stryker has since become a loyal and dedicated member of the Nights Watch, leaving his old life behind to take the black, the Ranger has battled Wildlings many times beyond the wall and earned his place at Castle Black.

In a recent skirmish with a Wildling band almost within the shadow of The Wall itself, Stryker took a deep leg wound and while infection did not take hold, The Maester has forbade him from future Rangings until he is fully healed.

In response to this and Stryker's insistence he is not a cripple and still of use, The Lord Commander has instead decided to send him South, down the long Kings Road to the Capitol in order to seek new 'recruits' for The Wall.
