Trixxtal

23 years old

Trixxtal is a native of the Kalos region and grew up in Cyllage City. Living next to the ocean made him appreciate the water, and when it came time for him to become a pokemon trainer, he decided to stick soley to the water type. At the age of 13 he traveled to the Unova region to receive Oshawott as his starter, and from there, he began his journey. He soon began collecting other pokemon, aswell as gym badges. But after some time, Trixxtal realized that becoming a pokemon master just wasn't for him, and stopped competing in competitive gym battles. Instead he returned to Cyllage City when he was 19 and got a job in the cafe. He remained there for some time, happily serving his customers tea everyday, and occasionally showing off his pokemon, until he moved to Lumiose City when he was 21. There he got a job as PR Video fantasist and helped many trainers create their videos, but was fired for continuing to mess up.

After that, he was disheartened and planned to return to Cyllage to help his father in the bike shop. But on his way to Route 5, he happened upon someone struggling in the water right before Magenta Plaza. There was no one else around and before he could think to call for help, he was already diving into the water. With the help of Mon Grand, Trixxtal managed to get the poor stranger out of the water and back onto dry land. He found out that the man's name was Jecht and that he was new to Lumiose. He hadn't been looking where he was going and accidentally tripped into the water, which was dangerous considering he didn't know how to swim. Trixxtal then offered him a pair of dry clothes from his backpack, aswell as a cup of coffee from the cafe around the corner.

After getting to know Jecht better, he discovered his ambition to be a pokemon master and decided to travel with him.

Tegan Rowen

12/02/1696
24 years old

Tegan is a human aboard Fenrir's ship, and like Gwendolyn he can preform magic, though his abilities are slightly better than hers. But unlike her, Tegan was born with his magical powers which he perfected over time. His father was a magic user, when he was alive, and always said that he came from a different world, one similar, but also very different than Earth. He never got the chance to explain this to Tegan however, because he ended up dying when Tegan was only eight years old. He was then raised by his mother, a mere human, but she helped him with his magic none the less. Between that time to the present, Tegan met with Fenrir and became a pirate. It is unknown to everyone how they met and how Fenrir managed to convince him to join his crew, but he just showed up one day and everyone just accepted it. He is more humane than the other members on the ship and will hesitate before hurting someone, the complete opposite of his captain. Because of this, he is charged with treating their captives and making sure that they live so that they can be taken to Never Island.
AMPELLIO
The vampire lead the two demons into the kitchen, unsurprised to find Oliver preparing food for Jecht and Trixxtal's arrival. For that reason he was momentarily confused by the demon's questioning glances, ready to point out that this was just Oliver preparing dinner and that it was nothing special, but then it dawned on him that is was indeed special, atleast for the demons.

" Oh yes," he commented dryly as he stared at the charmed broomsticks sweep past him, " I said it was rare to find a magic user here, but not unheard of. Anyway, Oliver here hardly has enough magical energy to classify as a wizard. He doesn't even stand close to the kind of wizard you're looking for. Ignore him." He instructed, waving his hand Oliver's way.

A quick thought flashed through his mind, a dark option where he sold Oliver out as Valente and let the demons take him back to their domain. It wouldn't be enough to fool the demon king, but it would give him and Protettore enough time to relocate elsewhere, somewhere out of the demon's reach. But it was only a passing thought and Ampellio dismissed the idea almost immediatly. Better to let these demons believe that he and everyone else knew nothing about Valente and let them leave on their own.

More importantly, the smell of roasted duck filled the kitchen and Ampellio directed his attention to the oven. Blood might have been the only thing that satisfied his hunger, but human food had it's own aesthetics and Ampellio had come to enjoy all the different kinds from all over the world. " Would you two like to stay for dinner?" He asked politely, hoping they would refuse so that Valente could return and place more powerful barriers. These two demons somehow had found themselves at the fortress, perhaps by sensing Valente's magic, so what was to say that more wouldn't come in the future?

TRIXXTAL
The business card crumbled in Trixxtal's hands as his fist closed around it, shaking in anger. He hated crying infront of Jecht almost as much as Jecht hated seeing it, but there was no stopping the tears from spilling down his cheeks. Jecht's words had only added fuel to the fire and he wasn't about to let this arguement drop now, or let Jecht get the final say. " Yes I'm fucking crying, you bastard!! Atleast I care enough to cry. One of us should show our emotions in this shitty relationship and it's sure as hell never you!" The anger had completely taken control of his mind and he didn't even think about the words that were coming out of his mouth. He just wanted Jecht to hurt as much as he was.

" You can be so inconsiderate sometimes! I fucking hate you." In one final act, Trixxtal threw the crumpled card on the floor and shoved past Jecht to go to his room, slamming and locking the door behind him.

VALENTE
When the argument felt like it was drawing to a close, Valente decided then to make his escape. Jecht was so preoccupied with Trixxtal that he wouldn't notice him disappearing, and after all, using the blonde vampire as a distraction had been the plan all along. Right before Trixxtal threw the business card, Valente hurriedly casted a spell and found himself on the beach, still holding his plate of chips. He was still on Jecht and Trixxtal's island, just not close enough to the house where he wouldn't hear Jecht stomping over to kick his ass, and found a retractable beach chair to sit on. There was a small part of him that felt bad about all the damage he had caused between the two vampires, but this was better than having them breathing down his neck, asking why they weren't at Tori's yet. And speaking of that...the demons were a problem as well. How had they found the fortress? Had he left any clues? Where there more coming???

Sighing, Valente reclined further back in the chair and let the soothing waves from the ocean calm him. Afterall, he could worry about those things later...
AMPELLIO " A magic user, you say? It is rare to see one of those around here, but I will assist you in any way I can. Afterall, if there was a magic user in my ranks, I would certainly want to know." He opened the door further, inviting the two demons inside. He had faith in Valente, for he might not be the smartest person around, but if anything, his magic was powerful enough to make up for it. Placing a simple optical misdirection spell would be well within his power. And if not, Ampellio was strong enough to take these two demons on singlehandedly. Inviting them in a den full of vampires was overkill. " Please, come in." He waited until the demons stepped through the doorway and Ampellio politely took their umbrella, hanging it up on the rack beside the door. Once he was turn, he turned back to the demons with a calm smile and rubbed his hands together. " Anywhere you would like to go first? I would have to accompany around the house, of course, but you are free to go wherever you like. I'm afraid my family does not take well to strangers walking about unaccompanied." " Perhaps the kitchen?" The blue haired demon suggested and Ampellio nodded his head. " That sounds perfect. I do believe our resident housekeeper is in there. If anyone has seen anything strange, it would most definitely be him." TRIXXTAL " Don't fucking bullshit me Jecht!" Trixxtal immediately countered, stopping the crazed waving long enough so that they both could see the card better, " I know what lipstick logos look like and this isn't a logo!" The angrier he got, the louder his voice became. The business card became meaningless as it fell from Trixxtal's fingers and fluttered to the ground, forgotten now that there was a new subject for Trixxtal to focus on. " Are you lying to me now? Do you have something to hide from me?" The business card had been enough to set him off at first, but now it was Jecht's demeanor about the whole thing that was really pissing him off and pushing his anger further. " You might not care about her feelings but you're definitely not turning her down! Taking that," He pointed furiously at the offensive card on the ground, " is basically an invitation for her to hit on you! Ugh! I can't believe you don't understand this!" Listening to Jecht trying to defend himself only made things that much worse, specifically when he said a word Trixxtal absolutely hated. Jealous. That was always Jecht's 'go to word' whenever they fought. First it had been that Trixxtal was jealous over Cepheus, over Mariemaia, over Jenna, over Clara, over Jonathan, over pretty much everyone on the entire fucking planet. " I wouldn't have to get jealous if you never gave me a reason to be!" " That's right," The wizard said from behind him, now seated in the slashed up armchair with a plate of sandwiches and chips, " What about the one he named his dog after!" The mere mention of Cepheus made the hairs on his arms stand up on end. Dead or not, Trixxtal still hadn't gotten over his hatred for that bastard, and he had to be reminded of it everytime he saw that stupid small dog Jecht paraded around. His fingers were shaking as he angrily wiped the tears out of his eyes, refusing to cry over something as little as this, " If you really loved me you wouldn't keep doing this to me over and over again! Every year theres something else and I'm getting tired of it Jecht!!"
ZRA
Zra was equally surprised as Alu when the door suddenly opened, revealing the redhaired man standing behind it. The demon wasn't fast enough to notice it right away, but as soon as Alu uttered the word, Zra could smell the coppery scent of blood oozing from behind the man, the vampire. He glanced quickly at Alu from the side to gauge what her reaction to the vampire was, if there was some plan of attack they were going to do, but she lowered her arms and her stance became less defensive, prompting him to do the same. But it would have been foolish to lower his defense completely and readied his knife under his sleeve, ready to defend himself from an attack from the vampire. He had to admit, meeting a vampire on Earth wasn't surprising. Unlike the demons and the wizards, vampires didn't have a world to call their own. They were just scattered all around Earth, doing their own thing and very rarely banded together, which did make it surprising to find an entire den of vampires.

Lost in his thoughts, Zra was brought back to reality by the sensation of a gaze burning into him, raising his eyes to meet with the vampire's. His red eyes couldn't be compared to anything other than a blazing inferno, and yet a cold chill ran down his spine as they locked gazes. Slowly, the vampire broke the connection and looked back to Alu, obviously deciding that she was the best one to talk to. " I see. Well, I can guarantee that all who live here are my own personal men.Only vampires reside here, unless it is a vampire you're looking for." He said in such a way that made it seem that he knew that a vampire was the last thing they were looking for. A slow smile spread across his face as he leant against the doorframe, " Then in that case, I will personally assist you in finding him."

VALENTE
The way that Jecht swung the shard of glass made Valente wonder if he had ever been in prison before, or a street gang. Neither would be far fetched, considering Jetcht and Trixxtal were old as hell, and when you live as long as they had anything was possible, he guessed. Valente made sure to remember to ask him later when he wasn't trying to shank with a broken piece of glass.

As Jecht swung, Valente disappeared once again, the jagged glass ripping into the plush surface of the arm chair, much to Trixxtal's horror. A short cry came from the blonde as stuffing came tumbling out of the cushion. Another piece of furniture ruined. " Jecht! Stop destroying our house!" He scolded, rerouting his anger to Jecht now.

" I know right?" Valente commented, appearing at Trixxtal's side again, leaning against his shoulder, but this time Trixxtal didn't shrug him off. " First the table and now the arm chair? Man Jecht, how are you going to fix this? Oh! I know!" He perked up, nudging Trixxtal, " Good thing that really nice seamstress lives on that vacation island not too far from here. You remember her, right Trixxtal? The one who is really nice to Jecht?" The vampire's expression quickly darkened and Valente couldn't help but smile victoriously, continuing, " If only we had her number...oh wait, we do!" A small white business card materialized in his hand and he waved it lightly in Trixxtal's face, a red lipstick mark clearly visible for them all to see, " Good thing she slipped this into Jecht's pocket the last time you guys visited there, right? Oh look, it even has her personal cell phone number on it! What luck!"

As expected, the card was ripped out of his hands by Trixxtal who took a single look at it before rounding back to Jecht, " What the fuck is this Jecht? You got that bitch's number even after I said she was into you? How could you do that? I told you this would happen! Why didn't you tell me about this, you thought you could hide this from me?? I can't believe you sometimes! After all we've been through and.."

Valente grinned as Trixxtal went off on Jecht, waving the card around furiously in his face. He had been around long enough to know all of Jecht's warning signs and attack stances, but that also meant that he knew alot about Trixxtal as well, such as all the things that made him angry. And of course there was nothing higher on the list than the paranoia of Jecht's infidelity. Not to mention that a fight between the two grandpas could last a while, if not weeks, giving him more than enough time to stall until those uninvited guests had left Protettore's fortress.

PEMARI VICTORIANNA ABERNATHY
68 years old
28/08/1076

Before she was Pemari Abernathy, her name was Victorianna Ceil and she was born to a high class family. Not as high as the the relatives of the Royal Family, but her family line was still very important. Her mother's family were weapon smiths and had been for centuries. Her grandfather forged the sword used by Belzeneff to execute the mad Queen Bellarose, and because of it, her family was rewarded richly. Her father's side had less of an interesting background, and yet her father managed to find a job at the Wizard Council and worked under Mayara Vega as one of her assistants. So coming from two well off families gave Victorianna the childhood every little girl wanted. She attended school as soon as she was old enough and graduated from the Academy in her early twenties, years before the rest of her age group. Her mother wanted her to follow in her footsteps and become a weapon maker but her father wanted her to be involved in the Council. Unsure of what to do, Victorianna chose neither and moved to the South instead. There she traveled around for a while, enjoyed the scenery, and essentially relaxed.

She returned to the Main City was she was 46 and got a job in the Council, just like her father wanted. Her younger brother, Victor, chose to follow their mother's line of work and became a weapon maker.
Alliric

a thousand year old vampire who attends the local college because he's fallen in love with a professor there. he's also ampellio's son.
ZRA
" Alright." Zra agreed, taking a better look at the building. Going through the front gates would be too obvious, giving the wizard a better chance of escaping before they could catch him, so there had to be another way. " Let us find a better way." He told Alu and began to walk towards the back of the building. There was a door there, and it seemed that it would be less guarded than the front gates. " I can't sense anything behind the door, we should try to enter through there."

But as soon as he stepped forward, not even close enough to touch golden doorknob, the door was pulled back and man stood there, his eyes piercing into their own. " Yes? What do you want?"

VALENTE
" Aw, what a shame, that was a nice table." Valente muttered, slinging an arm around Trixxtal's shoulder as they watched the couch topple to the floor. He had left the couch as soon as he felt Jecht come up behind him, knowing exactly what he was planning on doing. Jecht's anger was as predictable as the sun rising in the morning and simply breathing seemed enough to set him off. Valente hadn't managed to live this long without knowing all of Jecht's habits. He winced as he heard glass break and patted Trixxtal on the shoulder, knowing that that had been his favorite table. " Man ,Jecht, look what you did." He tsk'd.

But he almost forgot that he was fighting against two and barely dodged the elbow Trixxtal threw at him, breaking the hold on his shoulder, " You're the one who made him do that!!"

" Wow I was on your side here!" Valente stepped back and collapsed onto the armchair behind him, kicking his legs up on the arm. " Okay, so it's not like we have had any good times before, but it's never too late to start! C'mon, I heard about this super good television series that we can start! What's the rush?" He turned to Jecht with a pout, wondering if he was going to try to flip the arm chair too.

ANTHONY ROOSEVELT || MEPHIS ROOSEVELT || RODRIGO ARMANDO
24 years old
01/01/1989 (earth years)

Rodrigo was found wandering the streets by Angel after suffering from a severe case of amnesia. It left him without any memories of his family and friends, along with his past and even his own name. He was allowed to stay at Angel's home until his memories came back or a missing persons report came in that matched his description. After a few weeks passed and nothing happened, he grew restless and began working at the drugstore below Angel's home, which he also happened to be the owner of. It earned him some money and allowed him to come back to society slowly, interacting with the customers. Months passed and when it became clear that his memories would never come back he was saddened by the fact that his past self, whoever he was, wasn't important enough to anyone that no one had come looking for him. It was then that he assumed the name 'Rodrigo Armando', and name he picked out himself, and began his life over again, determined to become someone people would miss if he ever left. He became more open and began making friends with the people who dropped by the shop and even left to get groceries from the local supermarket.

His supernatural abilities surfaced months after working in the drugstore when the register got stuck and out of frustration, Rodrigo hit it to try to get it to open and ended up slamming it through the counter. He knew that this wasn't a normal thing, even an amnesiac knew that, and he was tempted to grab his tings and run since he knew that Angel would throw him out anyway if he ever found out, but to his surprise Angel was very accepting of it. He simply told Rodrigo that he was 'special' and that there were things about him that were different from other people. It sounded like something a mother would tell their kid so that their feelings wouldn't get hurt, but Rodrigo accepted it. If Angel thought it was okay, that it must have been okay. Angel thought Rodrigo how to control his new found strength since the world wouldn't be so accepting if he was found out, and soon enough Rodrigo learnt how to hide it. But it was shortly after that hurdle was finished that another one popped up. Ghosts, spirits and paranormal entities started to haunt Rodrigo, not only during his sleep, but during the day as well. Again, Angel assured him that this was okay and gave him some charms to ward them away. So life was still pretty weird for Rodrigo, but it wasn't unbearable.

About a year after being found by Angel, Rodrigo was walking home from the store when he found an unconscious man in the snow. Unsure about what to do, Rodrigo took him back to Angel's store. They soon discovered that this boy was just like Rodrigo and was suffering from amnesia. Angel welcomed him with open arms and had him stay in his home. He was soon named Ethan and he began to work with Rodrigo in the drugstore. Shortly after, they found out that Ethan also had magical abilities and Rodrigo felt less weird about himself. Now that they both had magical powers, Angel started assigning them really weird assignments, all having supernatural themes, and Ethan and Rodrigo have been doing them ever since. Under any other circumstance Rodrigo wouldn't put up with all the bullshit Angel's put them through, but he doesn't have anywhere else to go, and secretly deep down he actually enjoys the adventures, though he'll never admit it.

Before his amnesia, he was born as Anthony Roosevelt, but grew up under the name Mephis. He was raised by his grandfather after the sudden death of his parents. He grew up knowing nothing about his parents and though he was often curious about who they were, he was perfectly content with living with his grandfather because he was so nice and treated him kindly. He would tell him bedtime stories about a magical land called Wiz where the people could use magic and that he was a survivor from a war that happened there. This made Mephis admire his grandpa even more and he wished with all of his might that he would become a wizard too. He would boast to all of the kids in the playground that his grandpa was a SUPER POWERFUL WIZARD and would turn them into a frog if they were mean to him, but it didn't work and he was picked on anyway.

Mephis accidentally broke a bully's leg when he kicked him in self defense, and instead of scolding him, Mephia rewarded him with candy and praise. He then found out that he had super strength and Mephia taught him how to control it. He grew up constantly holding himself back, until it became second nature and he hardly thought anything of it when he was a teenager. It was around the time he found his strength that his powers to see the dead appeared. At first, Mephis thought that they were regular people and it wasn't until he tried to touch one of them and his hand went right through their body, did he realize that they were dead. Gradually, more spirits started to appear to him and some followed him around while others played games with him, but it was only the most emotionally charged spirits that were able to speak with him. Because of this, he was never alone and always had friends, even if most of them were deceased. His favorite one was a ghost of a young woman who never spoke to him, but would play with his hair as he slept and kissed his bruised knees when he fell. As he got older though, the spirits started to disappear until he could only see the evil and vengeful spirits, because his childhood innocence was gone.

When he reached high school, his personality darkened and he became a punk. He skipped class regularly and bullied students into giving him their lunch money. His only enjoyment in school came from playing basketball and he was the ace player at their school. He didn't get along with his teammates and was a douchebag to all of them. He eventually had to quit though, because he became involved in a gang and had to devote all of his time to them. Things went south though, when a drug deal went wrong and Mephis ended up getting shot by a rival gang. As he was dying in that dirty back-ally, the spirit of the young woman that he had loved so long ago appeared next to him and soothed his pain. A short time later, his grandfather was there and Mephis woke up in a bed, his wounds healed. But once he saw his grandfather, who was pale and looked close to death, Mephis knew that he had used his magic to heal him. He begged his grandfather not to die because he was the only family he had and he didn't want to be alone, but his grandfather passed away, but not before wiping Mephis' memories away.
