Calendar

Is there a single, generally accepted calendar (including time measurements), or do different countries or peoples or races have different ones? There is one generally accepted calendar in Wiz and old calendars from before Wiz has been lost. Nomadic tribes may have their own separate calendar from the rest of the wizards, but each tribe most likely follows their own calendar. How is the day divided into smaller time units? What are they? Are the names relevant to anything? Is the length of an hour fixed, or does it vary depending on changes in the length of the day as the seasons change? The day is divided into 24 hours. The length of an hour is fixed, always sixty minutes long. What are the names of months, and how many days in each? How many days in a week? Months in a year? Are there leap years? If so, who keeps track? Months are just numbered one through twelve and there are thirty days in each month. When writing the date, the day goes first followed by month then year. So, 01/06/1145 is the first day of month six of year one thousand forty five. There are seven days in a week and twelve months in a year. There are no leap years. Which days are general holidays or festival times? What do they celebrate? Are there any that are only celebrated in particular countries, cities, or regions? 01/01:

King Belzeneff’s birthday, the beginning of the New Year, and the anniversary of Fai the Conqueror becoming the first king.

14/02:

Holiday dedicated to romance and lovers. This is a day for lovers to remind each other of their love and it is custom to do something special for one another. Many wizards also like to initiate relationships on this day and courting jewelry is popular. Many wizards no longer get married on this day, however, since anniversaries are when marriage taxes have to be paid, and this day is the ideal day to celebrate love for most married couples.

Holiday where wizards celebrate Oz and the Prophet, held on the anniversary of the day Faize Ceres awakened as the Prophet.

04/07:

Victory Day, the anniversary of the wizards winning the war against the rogue demons. This day is usually celebrated extravagantly by the rich through parties, but the main event is that the heroes’ descendants come together and celebrate. Typically, the demon royal family is invited to Wiz on this day but they usually only send one representative, but on anniversaries during special years the whole family attends. And it is tradition for the castle to be open for everybody on this day, whether rich or poor, and in the garden they have fun games for the children while the adults attend the lavish party inside.

30/10:

A holiday dedicated to celebrating the lives those who are deceased lived. Feasts are held in dead wizards’ memory to honor them. Children often receive candy from adult wizards to honor their role as the next generation of wizards who will carry on the memories of the deceased. Many wizards dress up in costume, which started years ago when wizards used to dress up and perform plays to entertain the dead for the day, but now most people dress up for fun and entertainment. Ultimately, the holiday celebrates both life and death.

Holiday celebrating the existence of magic and to give thanks, usually many festivals and feasts are held.

Fai the Conqueror’s birthday. It became a holiday where wizards give gifts to one another. Belizano used to distribute gifts on his birthday in order to bring joy to his people because he loved them all. After his death, the people continued this tradition by giving their loved ones gifts and it eventually turned into a festive holiday of celebration. Decorations are put up decorations and gifts are placed underneath purple trees decorated in colorful lights. Trees are used because originally people were given a special tree from the royal family, one per family, and Belizano used to cast a magic spell that caused gifts to appear underneath the tree every year on his birthday.

What events do people use to date years? Do they use a single event or are events dated based on recurring things? The event used was when Belizano and Beliarosa Black were crowned King and Queen. How do people tell what time it is? Are there clocks, watches, sundials, etc., or do people have to just listen for bells from the castle or church, or just eyeball the sun? Most people in Wiz now use clocks, watches, cell phones, and other technology to tell time, although there are church bells that do ring every hour. Are there any days that are considered “outside the year,” like Mardi Gras or the Feast of Fools? How are these days customarily observed? How did they originate? No

GENERAL

In which geographical areas will the story take place? The Main City and The Under are the two major locations. Leeland is on a journey from the East to the Main City, but other than those, the other continents will only be mentioned. How much ground will the story cover? Most likely only the Main City, and all its districts, and The Under, and all its districts. What are the most striking features of landscape, climate, animals, etc. in this area? The Main City is the home of the King and the Royal Family, so it’s bound to have marvelous statues and buildings, all crafted by the best. The pathway leading from the Castle to the Council is a sight to behold itself and many travel from out of town just to look at it. The Church of Oz is also located in the Main City and its a large spectacle on the southside of the city. The Council, while not the most beautifully crafted building in the city, it is the largest and highest. It is said that it can be seen from the top of the mountains in the West. The Royal Castle is the highest quality building in all of Wiz and there is a price of 50 bells just to look at it.

GEOGRAPHY

How does this world differ physically from earth? Wiz only has one body of water and five large bodies of land. It is also a lot smaller. Does it have more than one sun or moon? There is only one sun, and it’s called Suneria, but is commonly shortened to ‘The Sun’ (sooo original). There are also five moons in Wiz’s orbit and they are named, Resce, Micainn, Barnhayet, Palosol and Pyrehino. Rings? No Are there spectacular constellations/comets, etc. visible at night or by day? At night, pink cosmic clouds can be seen. They are remnants of a star that imploded thousands of years ago and now is a permanent fixture in their night sky. There is only one star visible during the day and it is a north circumpolar star, visible no matter where you are on the planet. It is named Zoroaster and some believe that that is where Oz resides. How are the continents laid out? They are named how they are laid out: North, South, East and West. The Main City is, you guessed it, in the middle of it all. If there is more than one moon/sun, how does this affect winds, tides, and weather generally? Suneria is always in the Southern hemisphere so the East and South have sunshine for most of the year. The North, on the other hand, rarely ever sees the sun and it is seen as a blessing when it does. Since the Main City is in the middle, it receives the regular four seasons. How much land is there, and how much of it is habitable? A good portion of Wiz is habitable and many cities have sprung up in the South and East. The West is a rural wasteland where it’s pretty much a free-for-all. Dangerous monsters and rouge bandits are said to live there, so most wizards stay away. The least populated continent is the North and only the strongest, toughest people still live there. The borders of the North are were most of the population lives, and as you get further north, the less population there is. Only the Labor Camps are located at the pole where conditions are unbearable and the sun only shines twice a year.

BASICS

What are the physical characteristics of this race? They resemble humans in many ways, such as their body structure. The hair color on Wiz varies, however, and so does the eye color. It is not unusual to find someone on Wiz with green hair and purple eyes. They age very differently than humans, thanks to their prolonged life span. A child will grow up just as a human child does, but their aging begins to slow down in their teenage years. For the next 100 or so years, they will progressively get older, but they will not show any signs of old age until their late 150’s. Some wizards, mostly the poor, hardly get to live that long due to their living conditions, so seeing an old wizard mostly means that they were rich enough to live that long. How does magic fit in? A: How do magical beasts fit in? Magic is a daily occurrence on Wiz. Everyone on the planet is born with Magical Potential and however far they get with that Potential depends on their practice and training. But even the poorest wizard can use the basic spells. Is this generally an earth-like world? Wiz is very much like Earth. It lacks some of the technology the humans have, but there are a lot of other things that Wiz has that Earth lacks. But regarding everything else, such as politics, family life, jobs, etc., etc., it’s mostly similar. Are there different races, whether or not there are non-humans like elves or dwarves? No, wizards are the only race that inhabits Wiz. The only exception is Kyrie Valdmir, who is a half-blood. How long have there been people on this world? For around 1,100 years. Did they evolve, or did they migrate from somewhere/when else? Wizards originated in Atlantis. Whether it was a city or a planet is unclear, but they were forced to leave it when a group of rouge demons forced them out. That was when Fai the Conqueror and his Generals took arms and fought the demons in their home world. After their victory, the wizards were allowed to claim that planet as their own and that was how Wiz was formed. How many people are there in this world? A good hundred thousand. Wiz isn’t as populated as Earth, but that helps Belzeneff remain in control of them. What is considered a small town/large town/city in terms of number of people? The Main City is home to about fifty thousand people. There are other large cities scattered around the world, but the Main City holds the most. Where does magic power come from: the gods, the “mana” of the world, the personal willpower or life force of the magician, somewhere else? It is believed that a wizard’s magic is given to them by the great and mighty Oz, the God of the wizards. He predetermines a wizard’s Magical Potential before birth, which is why the people of Wiz worship him so much; if they do, he might bless their child with great magic. Is magic an exhaustible resource? No, no matter what, the Magical Potential within a wizard will always be there. Not all of it may be accessible at once, but it’s there. (see: Belzeneff) If a magician must feed his spells with his own willpower, life-force, or sanity, what long-term effects will this have on the health and/or stability of the magician? A wizard uses their Magical Energy, or simply ME, to power a spell. It has no lasting effects and every wizard is given a Regeneration Time, or REGEN, which is the amount of time it takes for a wizard to regenerate their ME. Do different races/species have different sources for their magic, or does everybody use the same one? Wizards believe that Oz holds any and all magical power in the universe, and if there are others out there with magic abilities, it all came from him.

+SHINJI+ Shinji still had connections with the mafia. "Show me what you've got." demanded the young man, and the gentlemen behind the counter took the cigarette out of his mouth. He looked at Shinji for a moment, wondering why a high schooler needed so many weapons. But, like all Mafioso that dealed with his business, the kid swore an oath never to harm him, the great weapons dealer Yamamoto. So as long as he was safe, what did he care what this kid did with the stuff he sold...? "I'll take that sword." asked Shinji, staring at one behind the counter. "That halberd, too." This was another reason why Yamamoto didn't mind doing business with this kid: he usually asked for weapons nobody else wanted. While Yamomoto thought to himself, Shinji didn't know why this adult was moving so slow. "Old man!" he addressed to the 35-year old, "What the hell are you waiting for, do you want my damn business or not?" He was getting irritated at Yamamoto for silently thinking to himself for the past five minutes. +SUNAKO+ Sunako flipped through channels of the tv in the lounge, with Shinji's Pikachu robot sitting next to her. He usually left it behind whenever he went to go pick up weapons from who knows where. Her favorite drama already finished and it was getting pretty late, but Sunako wanted to stay up and wait for the new roommate to arrive. She thought about putting on her "cat earphones" and listen to music, but then she might not here them knock. "Hm...It’s almost twelve." she mumbled, worried. The new guy nor Shinji had arrived yet. 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 💔 +FLEANCE+ Fleance's taxi stopped right infront of the dorm he was supposed to be staying at. He climbed out of the car and stared up at the four story dorm. From what it said on his welcome letter, there were only a few other kids staying here. So why was it so big? But Fleance wasn't complaining; he liked large houses. It reminded him of home.....ah...home. Fleance pushed those emo thoughts away as he shook his head, pulling his suitcase out of the taxi. By this time, the driver had already gotten out and was opening the trunk for the rest of his luggage. It wasn't like he had a lot of clothes; it was all of his mangas really. The school he would be attending had uniforms, so it wasn't like he needed an abundant of clothes. So it gave him the perfect excuse to bring his mangas along with him. Fleance thanked the man in the best Japanese he knew and took hold of all of his luggage, wondering how he would get all of the cases up the steps leading to the dorm's doors.Five minutes later, all four bags were sitting on the floor infront of the door with a very tired Fleance leaning against them. He needed to work out more. That was for sure. Once he recovered, he lightly tapped on the door, suddenly feeling nervous. +MOMO+ Momo watched Sunako from afar, making sure to keep out of sight. He tried not to make a sound because as far as she and that damned robot pikachu knew, he was fast asleep in his bed like the twins were. He watched silently as she flipped through the channels. With Shinji gone and the twins asleep, this was Momo's perfect chance to strike up a conversation with her. And he was almost going to do it too! But as soon as he cleared his throat and stepped out of his hiding place, a knock came from the door and Sunako rose to answer it. " Damn it," He muttered, closing his eyes and dropping his head. Would the heavens ever allow him to be happy?

SUMMARIES

= > Event: Retrieve Weapons Characters Involved: Shinji, Kimiko Shinji, after picking up weapons for the team, heads back to the dorm, and the Dark Hour begins. During his walk he sees Kimiko and he decides to go back to the dorm with her. They talk for a bit, but then Shinji hears a suspicious noise. He tells Kimiko to retrieve her evoker, summons Pikachu with his handy remote, and then summons his persona. = > Event: Greet New Arrival Characters Involved: Fleance, Sunako, Momo, Pikachu, Kenji, Sousuke, Hikaru At the same time, Sunako awaits with Pikachu for the new transfer student and absent classmates to arrive at the dorm. Momo attempts to gather the courage to hit on Sunako, but just as he is about to, a knock on the door interrupts him. Sunako answers it and meets Fleance, the new student. Pikachu starts to pick on Momo, but Momo runs away upstairs just as the power goes out from the Dark Hour. Pikachu lights up the room. Sunako confirms that Fleance has the potential and shows him to his room. Momo is on his way upstairs as well, but suddenly gets attacked by a terrified Kenji who thinks he’s a shadow. Momo grabs the pillow from Kenji, but is caught by a confused Sunako and Fleance. Kenji starts to freak out and apologize but Sousuke arrives, apologizes for his brother, and sends Kenji to Hikaru’s room. Fleance sees Pikachu when he lights up the hall and doesn’t notice anybody else. Then Momo and Fleance go to their rooms. Hikaru wakes up when Kenji enters his room and comforts his lover. Sunako goes to look for Pikachu downstairs, but Pikachu has actually snuck into Momo’s room! Pikachu harasses Momo for awhile. Suddenly, Pikachu’s cheeks begin to glow and Momo realizes that it’s Shinji’s distress signal. = > Event: Infatuation Characters Involved: Cleafen, Fleance Cleafen appears in Fleance's room, and caresses the sleeping boy's cheek while showering him with affectionate words. Fleance awakens and notices the random creepy kid in his room. Cleafen begins to say things like, "I am here to be with you, my darling dearest Lance~♥" and says he'll always protect him, and that there are going to be many trials soon. Fleance is wary of him and asks what he means, but Cleafen merely restates what he already had said. Fleance then heard Sunako frantically banging on the door. He answers it, and is led out of the room without finding anything more about the boy. = > Event: Reinforcements Characters Involved: Momo, Pikachu, Hikaru, Sunako Shinji summons his persona to fight off the giant, powerful shadow. He gives Kimiko one of the weapons he just got and tells her that Pikachu should be bringing back up any moment now. While Fleance was being stalked, Momo met up with Hikaru in the hall and alerted him about Pikachu's signal. They told Sunako on the way out about what was happening but she remained behind to protect Fleance, Kenji, and Sousuke. Just as Shinji predicted, Momo and Hikaru arrived just in time. Sunako simultaneously attempts to wake up the three boys while scanning for the enemy's weakness through telepathy. Shinji used his Pikachu gun to shoot at the Shadow while waiting for the analysis, but it did no damage. = > Event: Subdue Shadow Seeing that Shinji's attack was not effective, Momo tried using his persona. It had the same result, leaving Hikaru to step up and try his luck. Wanting to lead the creature away from the dorms and his beloved, he risked using his persona. Hikaru's persona, powerful in physical prowess, was able to knock the shadow down but not kill it. Luckily, Sunako figured out the weakness. Magic would not do the team any good and they needed to attack it with physical strength. The shadow also needed to be hit in a certain place, due to it's body having some sort of armor. Hikaru, the only one with a persona who did not rely on magic, was left to fight. He managed to break the armor, allowing Shinji and Momo to join the fight. During the battle, Shinji injured his ribs. Meanwhile at the dorm, Sunako teamed up with Sousuke to get the other two boys to the roof. /to be continued = > Event: Welcome to the Velvet Room Characters Involved: Fleance, Michael, Milton Fleance, passed out after summoning his persona, awakens in a strange room with strange men. The strange room is actually an elevator with no exit. Michael and Milton greet their guest, having him sign a contract that states, "you will be responsible for every choice you make". Fleance thinks its for saying no to drugs and signs it without question. Milton then explains how he can make a persona evolve, and rambles about how friendship and forming bonds with people can stop the evil in the world. After Milton is done explaining, Michael snaps his fingers, enshrouding the room in a bright light. I CAN OPEN YOUR EYES, TAKE YOU WONDER BY WONDER. OVER SIDEWAYS AND UNDER, ON A MAGIC CARPET RIDE. A WHOLE NEW WORLD! A NEW FANTASTIC POINT OF VIEW. NO ONE TO TELL US NO, OR WHERE TO GO, OR SAY WE'RE ONLY DREAMING!" -MOMO NOT KRILLEN!MOMO = > Event: Angels Characters Involved: Izzy, Mimi, Milton, Michael, Doumeki, Watanuki Izzy and Mimi find and purify their 3,943rd shadow. After the long purfitication process is complete, they return to the Velvet Room at Milton's request and meet two boys that have the ability to help them on their mission. Milton gives an enchanted ring to the boys, Watanuki and Doumeki, that allows them to see Izzy and Mimi. = > Event: Retreat = > Event: Morning After Kiyotaka and Shinji hear about Kyoya being in the hospital early in the morning. Then the kids go to school, as well as Kieran and Mizuki despite the attack last night. = > Event: Hospital Feels Lovi, dressed as a hobo, Raichu, and Tohru go to visit Kyoya. Kyoya and Tohru cry about their feelings while Lovi and Raichu just awkwardly walk around the hospital to let them be alone. Meanwhile Kiyotaka sent Mosca to finish off Kyoya while he is still in the hospital but Kyoya's never left alone so Mosca doesn't know how to go about it. Eventually, Ichiro and Hana interfere with Kiyotaka's plan by catching Mosca spying on Kyoya so Kiyotaka is forced to intervene. Mosca is sent to deliver a special letter to Kyoya, Hana goes to visit Kyoya's hospital room, and Ichiro continued to speak to Kiyotaka. Lovi starts flirting with nurses and back in the room, Tohru is just about to confess his feelings when Hana arrives and interrupts him. Mosca then interrupts their reunion by giving Kyoya the letter before running off. = > Event: Brother Akito, who wanted a distraction from the failed attack that night, spent the night with his friend Michiru talking about aliens. Unfortunately, a policeman knocks on Michiru's door informing them of Subaru's mysterious death.

JUBILEUS THE ALMIGHTY

Jubileus is the creator of the universe and the powerful deity that gave the Alphas their powers. There is no beginning of his being, as he was always a constant presence that eventually manifested into a physical form. Using his powers, he created the universe and everything inside it. He sees all and knows all and when he saw that the planet Jubilea, named after himself, was dying, he decided to intervene. But rather than save the entire race, he chose only the strongest members of the population to live on and individually gave them new powers, creating entirely new species in the process. He sent the Alphas to the planet Earth, which was already home of the humans, for them to gain their own following. In the meantime, he created new planets for the Alphas to live on and claim as their own, but they were only given to the Fairy, Wizard, Demon, Dragon and Angel Alphas. The Vampire and Werewolf Alphas were to remain on Earth since the vampires needed human blood to survive, and Werewolves needed humans in order to change them to werewolves. Additionally, the Alpha hunter was left on Earth too, as it was impossible to change others into his species and was destined to be the last Jubilean ever.

After it was all settled, Jubileus left them to sort out their own problems and disappeared. He didn't reappear when the Alpha hunter began sealing the Alphas away, or when the demons took over Atlantis. He remains unseen to this day and will most likely continue to do so until another global wide disaster.
