" He hasn't woken up yet," Nico said, his gaze trained on the unconscious blonde in the cell and Fenrir hummed from behind him. He knew the extent of Kakeru's spells and didn't expect their blond captive to wake up any time soon. What confused him though, was why they took him in the first place. " Did Kakeru say why he brought this vampire onto my ship? I thought the two we captured last time was enough." Nico shrugged and was about to answer, when another voice cut in.

" He's the first mate of that ship." Kakeru supplied as he walked into the room, having left Remus to be alone with his brother. " That means that he's important to them, and since our plan to raid their supplies resulted in failure, I thought using him as a bargaining chip would be much more resourceful."

☆videl☆
He hadn't even felt the pain in his shoulder until Nemesis pointed it out, but it had already reduced to a dull pain. " Ah, gracias, but I assure you it looks worse then it really is." But he thankfully accepted her help.

☆mariemaia☆
" Eh....." Mariemaia wished that she had some good news for them, looking at their hopeful eyes with guilt, but she didn't. " Jecht asked me to look for him but I haven't seen him anywhere..." She gulped. " I haven't searched the whole ship yet, so maybe h-- "

" No, they took him." Videl said solemnly, hanging his head, " I saw them take him and when I tried to stop them, they hit me with some kind of magic spell!" He tightened his fist, his teeth grinding. " If only I had been strong enough! I could have stopped them!" His anger fizzled out quickly and was replaced with fear when he realized that one of them was going to have to tell Jecht. " Me neither!" He jumped in after Cepheus. " I've fought many beasts in my time, but the Captain is the worst I've seen!"

☆protettore☆
Protettore shook his head, rubbing his snot deeper into Cepheus' shirt. " M-my pants were burnt," He mumbled, pulling away from the grim to look down at his ruined pants. His skin was a little red from the exposure to the flames but other than that, he wasn't hurt. He continued to cling to Cepheus as the others tried to sort out their problem, fearful that they would force him to do it. " P-p-please don't make me do it..," He begged Cepheus quietly, not wanting to face Jecht's anger.

☆kakeru && gwendolyn☆
" There isn't anything else I can do...I'm sorry." Gwendolyn said, wiping the sweat from her brow. She wasn't able to completely fix Romulus' arm and leg, nor stop the pain either, but both bones were set back into place and with his advanced healing, he would be able to walk again in a few weeks.

" You did everything you could Gwen, thank you." Kakeru smiled, wiping the blood from his hands with a dirty rag. The two had left Remus alone with his brother in the medical room so they could talk outside in the hall without disturbing them. Since getting back on the SkullKracken, Gwen had spent all of her time with Remus, casting little healing spells to try and fix his arm and leg. When she saw them for the first time, she felt like throwing up at the grotesqueness of it all, but she had sucked it up and went to work. Kakeru himself would have helped but his ofudas worked best on open wounds and most of Romulus' wounds were internal. " Some of the other crew are wounded too, do you have enough energy left to help them?"

" Yes!" She suddenly said, light returning to her eyes, " I'll try my best Mister Yamamoto!"

She scuttled off down the hall, determined to help anyone who needed it, and Kakeru breathed a sigh of relief. He had been worried about her passing out from stress, but she seemed okay enough so he wasn't as concerned.

He thought about going back to the medical room to force Remus to get his face looked at by Gwendolyn, but then he suddenly remembered the glass bottle he had in his pocket. Gwendolyn had handed it to him to hold when she had been healing Romulus and never asked for it back, and he had simply put it in his pocket and forgot about it. But now that he thought about it, she had said that it was something like a pain reliever, a special potion she brewed, and it would probably help Remus with his current situation.

He quietly entered the medical room and approached Remus who was no doubt tormenting himself over Romulus' situation. Not one for the mushy stuff, Kakeru simply held out the bottle for him to take, " Here, Remus, take this. It'll help with the pain."

☆mariemaia☆
Steering the FlyingDeath brought back memories from when she was the Captain of her own ship and she found herself smiling as she directed the ship towards land. Her days as Captain had been fun, but her days as a crew member weren't bad either, especially with the crew she was in now. Speaking of the crew...

" Where are those guys??" She asked herself, looking around the deck for any sign of life. Apart from the odd crew member passing by, she couldn't see any of the regulars like Cepheus or Videl. Infact, when she had went to look for Trixxtal to give him Jecht's orders, she couldn't find him either. Was there a party somewhere that she didn't know about? Why wasn't she invited??

" Hey! You!" She pointed to a random guy that passed by, beckoning him over. " You can steer right? No? Well today is your lucky day! You see that?" She pointed to the distance where the light from the city could be seen, even in the dark of night, " Well just head towards that and call me when we get close so we can get ready to dock. Ahaha! Don't look so scared, you'll do great!!" She roughly patted the guy's back and handed the wheel over to him.

She made her way down to the lower decks, searching for where the metaphorical party was. " Hellllllo," She called out, waiting for someone to call back to her. As she passed the supply room door, she heard muffled voices in the distance. She opened the door of the supply room and smiled, finally finding everyone she was looking for, " There you guys are! What's going on?" She was the only one with a smile on her face, however, and she instantly knew something was wrong. In the corner, Protettore was crying and Cephus was trying to talk to him and Nemesis and Charlie were huddled around Videl, who was unconscious.

This was not the party she had been hoping for.

☆protettore☆
" He's goneeeeeeeee!" Protettore cried, clutching Cephus' shirt as he cried into it. He had been hiding in a corner, unsure if the battle on the upper deck had stopped or not, when the three pirates came in. He instantly threw himself at Cepheus, his only friend on this awful cursed ship, and began to cry into his pant leg.

" They took him!! They t-t-took T-t-t-trixxtal!"

☆videl☆
"Ay.....dios mio, my head..." Videl opened his eyes, noting how heavy they were. It was hard to keep them open and he felt them going cross-eyed for a few seconds and everything was blurry, but when he saw Nemesis and Charlie's heads hanging over him with worried expressions, he sobered up. Struggling to sit up, Videl used Nemesis and Charlie's arms for support. " W-What happened?" He blinked, trying to get a bearing on his surroundings. He heard a child crying somewhere in the room, which only made him more confused, and he looked towards Nemesis and Charlie for answers, spotting Mariemaia behind their shoulders.

☆videl☆
All of Videl's years of experience in bullfighting came rushing back to him when the two wolves lunged at him and he gracefully dodged them. The bulls back in Spain were more tactful than these two and Videl couldn't help but smile at himself. They had messed with the wrong ship today! One of the wolves, who had previously been a white haired male, quickly turned around to snap at him and Videl curled his arm around his neck, getting him in a chokehold, and held his muzzle shut with his free hand. The fact that these two were werewolves was surprising, since it was rare to see one while travelling at sea, but Videl had fought some in the past. The only real thing they had going for them was their teeth and claws, while Videl had his raw strength to rely on, so he was confident in winning.

The other wolf, the white one's brother, came running towards him and Videl delivered a swift kick to his mouth, blood and teeth splattering everywhere. The white wolf started to struggle more in his arms, trying to break free of his hold, and Videl tightened his hold around his neck, but his hand couldn't hold his mouth shut for much longer and let go, the wolf's teeth barely scraping his fingers. Quickly, he wrapped his other arm around the wolf's neck so it couldn't turn to bite him and tried to stop it from struggling so much. He only had a small amount of time until the older wolf recovered from the kick, so he needed to deal with this one fast, so he finally came to his decision.

Dropping to his knees, Videl rolled them over until the wolf was on it's back and he was lying diagonally over it, his arms still locked around it's neck, and got the wolf's hind leg between his own and twisted. A deafening crack echoed throughout the supply room and the wolf howled in pain. Videl quickly let go of the animal and rolled away before it had a chance to counterattack. A broken leg wouldn't get him very far, so as long as Videl kept his distance, he would be safe.

But the brother was still a problem and when Videl turned to look for him, he came face to face with the wolf's snapping jaw. He moved to avoid it but was too slow, crying out as the jaws locked on his shoulder. Even with a few teeth missing it was painful and Videl tried to shake him off but the teeth only went in deeper. Blood trickled down his shoulder and he cursed loudly. Thanks to his vampire blood in his system, he wouldn't fall pray to the werewolf's bite and turn into one himself. But that didn't mean that it didn't hurt.

☆trixxtal☆
Trixxtal barely managed to dodge the talismans flying towards him, but only by a fraction of a hair. " What the hell is that?" he wondered, turning back to look at the piece of paper, now stuck on the wall behind him. But that only turned out to be a mistake when more talismans came soaring towards him. By the time he turned back to see them, they were already too close to dodge. One of them landed on his chest and he instantly felt the energy draining out of him. " What...have you done??" He stuttered, tripping over his feet and barely caught the wall to avoid landing on his face. He gripped his chest to try to pull the paper off of him, but when he touched it, sparks of electricity nipped at his fingers.

☆kakeru☆
Truthfully, he didn't think that disabling the vampirate would be so easy. He thought that he would put up some sort of a fight, but the blonde went down just as easily as the two they caught last time. The male and female vampires that they had found hiding in that small port hardly fought at all, and just kept begging not to hurt their precious child. Kakeru only laughed at them as he knocked them unconscious, but kept admired them for their courage, and decided to fufill their wishes and left the boy alone. This one though...he had little fighting spirit and hardly had anything to be admired for. He glanced over at the other vampire in the room and was thankful that he had told Remus and Romulus to take care of him instead. It would probably take five or six talismans to bring someone like that down. He brought his attention to the blond infront of him and pulled his arm away from the wall, catching him as he fell to the ground. Now, he just had to decide; should he take him back to the SkullKracken and use him as a ransom, or simply kill him? No...Fenrir would be much happier if we had a chip to bargain with, just incase this plan doesn't succeed, he agreed with himself.He scooped the vampirate up into his arms, surprised at how light he was, when he heard Romulus whimper in pain.

The wolf was wreathing on the floor and from where Kakeru stood, he could see that his leg was twisted in an obscure angle. On the other side of the room, Remus had his teeth set in the vampire's shoulder, blinded by rage.

☆videl☆
Before the white wolf had the chance the chance to attack again, Videl grabbed the darker wolf on his shoulder by the scruff of his neck and pulled him off, throwing him forward and causing him to crash against the supply room wall. " Trixxtal, I think it would be best for us to go to the deck. The Captain might need our help." He turned to look at his friend, but without the wolves occupying his attention, he finally realized that the first mate was no where in sight. He almost called out for him until he saw the blond, cold and unconscious, in the arms of the third intruder. Anger flared up within him instantly and growled, " Let go of him!"

Ready to attack, Videl lunged towards the black haired stranger, only to be intercepted by one of the wolves midair, as it viciously latched on to his leg. Another cry of pain left Videl's mouth and in a fit of rage, he kicked one of it's front legs and a crack echoed through the room. Just as he intended, the white wolf let go and now that he had a broken leg and a freshly broken arm, he was incapable of attacking again.

Too preoccupied with the wolves, Videl failed to notice Kakeru reaching into his pocket and pulling out an ofuda.

☆kakeru☆
Kakeru was helpless as he watched both Remus and Romulus fall to the talented vampire. With the blond in his arms, he couldn't do much but just stand there. But when Romulus' arm broke, Kakeru jumped into action. Carelessly dropping the vampire to the ground, Kakeru pulled out an ofuda and began his spiritual chanting. If he got anywhere near the vampire, he would surely suffer the same fate as the wolf brothers, so long distance spells had to work.

With the vampire's back turned, it was the perfect time to strike and Kakeru sent off the ofuda along with his chant. It landed straight in the middle of the brunette's back and as soon as he finished the prayer, he watched as the paper talisman slowly began to drain the fighting spirit out of Videl. It wasn't permanent and since this one was vastly stronger then his companion, the effects would wear off faster. As Videl stumbled to the ground, Kakeru picked Trixxtal off the ground and turned to Remus, who was now trying to comfort his crying brother, " Retreating now would be our best option, Remus. I don't think your brother can take much more." As he spoke, Romulus reverted back to his human form, his arm and leg now pushed back into ugly directions, only proving Kakeru's point further.

☆videl☆
Videl had no idea what kind of magical spell the stranger had placed on him, but it was different then the time that that wizard attacked. Instead of simply sending him to sleep, this spell was physically draining him of all his energy, until it became a struggle to even keep his eyes open. Out of his blurry vision, he saw the three intruders leave the room, with the unconscious Trixxtal in their arms. He tried to muster all the strength he could to try to go after them, or to even plead them to stop, but it was no use, the spell was just too strong. His last thought before loosing consciousness was how mad Jecht was going to be when he found out that Trixxtal was gone.

☆nicolao☆
The woman was feisty and Nico liked that. It was pretty much all fun and games for him until she aimed her fire alittle too close to his vital regions, and he let out an alarmed yelped. How dare she try to mess with a man's jewels! They were a man's pride and glory, and getting them burnt off was unacceptable! Even in a fight! A new fire kindled in his heart and he was rejuvenated with the fighting spirit, ready to go again. Only, as he made his move to counterattack, a cry of pain came from below the deck and Nico knew instantly that it was Romulus. The stupid pup had probably gotten ahead of himself and bit off more than he could chew, but Nico knew that if Remus was with him, he wouldn't have let anything bad happen to him. Meaning that not only had Romulus gotten himself into trouble, but Remus too. Nico shot a glance over to Fenrir and their eyes met for a second. Nico then knew what he had to do.

Transforming into his wolf form, Nico jumped straight over the girl he had been fighting, now forgotten, and bounded over to the doorway leading to the supply deck. He passed Gwendolyn, who was squabbling with a boy only a few years younger than her, but she seemed to be on top of things, so he rushed past them. Kakeru and Remus were waiting for him at the doorway, with two unconscious bodies in their arms, and they silently loaded them on his back. " Take Romulus to the medic bay and the blonde to the cells." Kakeru instructed and Nico nodded, turning back from where he came and made his way back to the ship, making sure to avoid Fenrir's battle with the ship's captain. Even if they were retreating, the battle wasn't over until Fenrir stepped foot back onto his ship.

☆protettore && gwendolyn☆
" Please, please, please make him stop!" Protettore pleaded, trying to shake the flamelion off of his leg. The flames were eating through the cotton of his pants and if it wasn't stopped, it would reach his skin in no time. Gwendolyn made no noise from where she stood, watching the fire eat away at Tori's pants, but he could see that her expression was uneasy. Right before the heat touched his skin, a burst of water killed the flame and Tori's leg was safe from a serious first degree burn. He looked up to find a cute water sprite standing next to Gwendolyn, twirling around as it awaited it's master's next command. Tori could feel his heartbeat slow down, now that he was no longer in danger, and he let out a sigh of relief, " T-Thank you so much!" He quickly got to his feet, unsure if she was going to attack again. But the spirte stayed inactive and Gwendolyn crossed her arms, a blush spreading across her cheeks.

" It wasn't like I wanted to save you or anything, i-idot! I just didn't want to see your leg being burnt off, that's all!" Tori didn't know if she was lying or not, but he sure was grateful anyway. Suddenly, a black haired man appeared from nowhere and grabbed Gwendolyn's arm, " We need you back on SkullKracken, Romulus has been hurt." Gwen's eyes widened and she nodded quickly, only sparing Tori a single farewell glance. " Don't stay on this ship any longer, it isn't safe for kids like you." And with that, she ran off with the stranger towards their ship. She might have only been a handful of years older, but Tori could tell that she was way more prepared for this life than he was. He wasn't strong enough to fight invaders or summon his own monsters, or even swim for that matter!

Tori shook off the doubts clouding his mind and focused on the task at hand, now that there were no more obstacles in his way. He ran down to the cargo deck, eagerly awaiting his uncle's embrace, but when he got there, he found Videl unconscious on the floor. " Oh no, not again!" His mind flew back to the night of the wizard's attack and feared that he had come once again. After trying to shake Videl awake, he got up and searched the rest of the room for his Uncle, but ended up empty handed. Where could he have gone? Didn't they say he would be here...? Suddenly, he remembered where he had seen that stranger who had taken Gwendolyn back to her ship! He had been the one who had taken his parents! The raven haired man with the purifying hands! But if that was the case, and he had been here on this ship, did that mean that he had taken Trixxtal too??!

☆fenrir☆
Fenrir didn't understand why the mere mention of wizards made this vampire so mad, but he enjoyed the new gusto in which he fought with. Fenrir gleefully dodged his attacks and counterattacked with his own, only to be blocked with the same manner. Fighting with other ship's captains always got his blood going, and this vampire was no different. Afterall, you weren't named captain for no reason. Every twist and turn of their little dance brought enjoyment to Fenrir and the electricity radiating from the vampire made it much more exciting. He got distracted though, when he heard Romulus' cry, and hesitated while dodging. The Captain's sword pierced right through his side and he hissed, jumping backwards before the electricity did anymore damage. He met eyes with Nicolao and silently gave him his instructions, clutching his wounded side while holding up his sword defensively in the other.

He was an alpha, which meant that his pain tolerance was higher than his betas, but another stab from that sword would make him just as weak. And now that Remus and Romulus' mission had failed, getting the supplies now would be impossible. He felt Célestin's eyes burning into his back and he turned to look at him. No words were spoken, but Fenrir knew what he wanted to say. Kakeru had caught a prisoner, and a prisoner meant bargaining. If they couldn't take the supplies by force, then they would find other means. Fenrir nodded turned back to Jecht, leaving Célestin to gather up the remaining crew members and take them back to the SkullKracken. " I must admit, your fighting style isn't bad. Your use of your powers is average, at best, but don't think that this is over yet. We will return and next time, I'll have your head on a stake." Fenrir warned, sheathing his sword and retreated back to his ship. Célestin pulled up the anchor and SkullKracken floated away from theFlyingDeath. The vampires too had their own casualties to worry about, so he didn't worry about a quick counterattack, and Fenrir went down to the medical room to check up on his beta.

☆fenrir☆
Fenrir was the first one to step off Skullkracken and onto the enemy ship, all the while staring down the ship's captain. Whether the captain was confident, or just plain ignorant, he had some pretty big balls letting Fenrir enter his ship like that. The rest of his crew followed behind him and after a short head nod, they all went their separate ways. Fenrir stood his ground though, his eyes never leaving the captain. If what Fantine said was true, and these were vampires, then this would be over shortly. He had fought against vampires before and none of them stood a chance against his alpha form. And not to mention that he had faith in all of his crew members, even little Gwendolyn, to emerge victorious from their individual battles.

Before he fought with the vampirate, he wanted to test the scouter out once more, so he took it out of the bag and placed it on his head, the green transparent screen covering his left eye. It automatically turned on and suddenly, Fenrir's vision was flooded with random numbers and signs, all of which he couldn't understand. Still, discovering how to use a piece of equipment in the middle of battle was dangerous, so he tried to ignore the numbers and focus on the captain. When he did, the random numbers sorted themselves out and actually started to make sense. It displayed the captain's power level and abilities, giving Fenrir every bit of useful information before he fought the vampire. " So, the wizard was right. This will be useful." He smirked to himself and let his claws come out, ready to fight.

☆protettore && gwendolyn☆
Protettore didn't know what the random lightening infront of him meant, but he knew it wasn't a good sign. When he saw all the other crew members scramble to get to the top deck, he decided to follow them to see what was going on. Immediately after getting there, he wished he hadn't. In the distance, he saw another ship approaching the FlyingDeath. At first, his young and innocent mind thought that the other ship was coming over to trade supplies or to talk or something, but when he looked at Jecht's crew, they were all ready for an attack, their weapons drawn and their teeth bared. Fear punched him in the gut and made his knees shake. Even after Jecht's little training exercise, which he wasn't even able to complete by himself, he wasn't anywhere near ready for a fight against a real life pirate.

He looked around for his Uncle in hopes of hiding behind him until the fight was over, but the blonde was no where in sight. He was too far away to heat Jecht's question about Trixxtal's location, but remembered seeing his uncle heading to the supply deck a few hours ago. Hopefully he was still there.

As Jecht's crew began their fight against the opposing ship's, Protettore ran towards the door leading down to the lower decks. He wanted to be by Trixxtal and also alert him of the fight happening above. He didn't want to loose anymore family and was determined to keep Trixxtal safe. However, before he was able to reach the door, someone pulled him back by his collar and sent him toppling backwards. When he looked up, he found a raven haired girl peering down at him with a frown. He quickly got to his feet and readied himself to block an attack, but to his surprise, the girl didn't move to hit him. Infact, she looked unable to move, fear evident in her eyes.

" D-Don't go down there or else...or else I'll have to stop you!" She warned him and Protettore took a step back. He could only guess that his girl, who only seemed to be a few years older than him, belonged to the other ship's crew since he had never seen her before, and also the fact that she wasn't a vampire. This gave him some confidence atleast. Even at his young age, he was stronger than the average human, thanks to his parent's heritage, and he was fairly confident that he could handle this girl. But when he moved to attack, she jumped back and began chanting under her breath. A small circle appeared at her feet, strange words and symbols flashing in the center, and within seconds, a small animal dragged itself from the middle of the circle. It wasn't any bigger than a chihuahua, but it resembled a lion and had a flame for a mane. The strange flamelion jumped around Protettore's feet and seemed cute at first, until it opened it's mouth and breathed fire.

Tori screamed as his clothes caught on fire and he rushed to pat it out. During this time, the flamelion rushed behind him and began to bite at his pant leg, tearing the fabric with it's teeth. " No! No! Stop!" He cried as he tried to shake the animal off and put the flames out.

Gwendolyn felt triumphant that her little flamelion was doing so well, but she also felt guilty for beating up a small kid. For all she knew, he could have been a human captive that these evil vampires had captured and had no part in any of this. But Fenrir's word was absolute and she had to stop the boy from going down to the supply room where Remus, Romulus and Kakeru were.

☆mariemaia☆
She had been gearing herself up for this all day. When she had woken up, she knew in her heart that today was going to be the day, the day that she was going to do it. She was going to confess her love to Jecht and accept whatever consequences came afterwards. But it just so happened that just as she was about to do it, right in the middle of walking up to Jecht to awkwardly tell him, they were attacked by an enemy ship. If she was superstitious at all, she might have saw this as a sign that she shouldn't confess and keep it to herself, but she wasn't so she simply decided to do it after the battle. Which they would no doubt win of course.

When a pink haired female jumped from the ship and started towards her, Mariemaia drew the sword from her side and blocked her attack.

☆trixxtal && videl☆
The two were talking about a legendary city of gold that Videl had heard stories about as a child when the sparks of lightening appeared infront of them. In an instant, they were both on their feet and on guard. They looked at one another and simultaneously nodded, knowing that their best move would be to go up to the deck. But when Trixxtal moved for the door, he felt Videl grab hold of his elbow, " Hang on, maybe we should stay here? If it is another attack, atleast one of us should protect the supplies."

It took exactly two seconds for Trixxtal to think it over and he nodded, " Thanks for volunteering Videl, I appreciate it." There was no doubt that Videl was stronger than him, immensely stronger, but Trixxtal needed to be up on the top deck to make sure Jecht was okay. The probability of Jecht not being fully healed from his previous injuries were very high, and if these were just ordinary humans attacking then he would be okay, but there was always the slim chance that they weren't human and Trixxtal needed to be there just incase. Luckily, Videl seemed to realize this and released the blonde's elbow, giving him a bright smile, " Of course amigo!"

But that smile quickly turned into a frown when the door opened and two men came blundering through, happy that they finally found the supply room. " So it is true, you are after our supplies!" Videl sounded hurt, like it was a personal attack on him or something. Before either man replied, a calm, monotone voice echoed throughout the room, a third man stepping out from behind the two men.

☆kakeru☆
"You two take the brunette. Remember what Fantine said, these are not regular humans so be careful." He muttered and pulled a piece of paper from the confines of his clothes. It was a simple strip of white paper with Kanji symbols on the front and seemed perfectly harmless, but to those of the supernatural persuasion, it was a lethal weapon. He didn't use talismans or ofudas very much, since it seemed redundant when he was able to do all of that with a simple touch, but in this case, they came in handy. There was no way that the brunette vampire would let him get anywhere close to him or his blonde haired friend, so he needed something long distance.

As Remus and Romulus broke away from him, he concentrated on the blonde vampire. Strangely enough, he seemed oddly familiar. Almost as if he had seen his face somewhere before...

"臨,兵.闘,者,皆,陣,列,在,前!" He chanted to the ofuda between his fingers before releasing it towards Trixxtal.

☆nicolao && célestin☆
Fighting in a pack was an instinctual urge for the werewolves, so when Remus and Romulus slinked off together to the lower deck, Nicolao and Célestin naturally gravitated towards each other. They felt safer with their alpha still in sight, as he engaged in battle with the Captain, and kept close to him, ready to jump in if needed. The instinct to protect their alpha was strong, but Fenrir's pride and stubbornness wouldn't allow them to help until the very last second. But they still kept within distance when they were individually attacked, Nicolao by a woman with fireballs in her hands and Célestin by a man who seemed reluctant to fight. They both dodged their respective attackers, but while Nico moved to counterattack, Célestin simply straightened up and offered Charlie a smile, " I don't really want to fight you..." He sighed as he looked around at his crew members who were fighting vigorously, " But it seems that I have no choice." His fangs grew larger and his fingernails extended and he lunged forward, baring his fangs, hoping deep down that his intimidation was enough to scare this guy off. His only real goal was to help Fenrir out, if need be, and he had no intention to fight this guy.

Nico on the other hand was fighting against Nemesis with everything he had. He didn't care if she was a woman or if she had magic powers apparently. He had spent a God forsaken amount of time on NeverIsland and he had been itching for action for a long time now. Rather then dodging the fireballs, Nico took them head on like a badass, merely flinching when they crashed into his face. He was already wolfed out, with his teeth and nails elongated, and his healing abilities were stronger than ever during this time, so dodging was only one option out of many. " You have some nice tricks," The werewolf told the girl, wiping his charcoal covered face with the back of his sleeve and smirking up at her. " But let's see how you handle this!" He made a move at her feet, intent on dropkicking her right then and there on that deck. It would give him greater access to her neck where he would be able to bite and hold on, either killing her with the severity of her wounds or the lack of air from her damaged windpipe. Either way, it would be a victory for him.

☆célestin && fenrir☆
It was when he was relaxing on deck that he noticed the ship in the distance. They were pretty far out in the water, NeverIsland being so far from land that it wouldn't be found by any ordinary ship, so it was usual to see another ship so close. Though there was a possibility that it was just a normal cargo ship, Célestin figured it would be safe to alert the captain anyway.

" Captain! There's a ship in the distance," He called behind him, not taking his eyes off the ship. Footsteps approached him from behind and he felt Fenrir peer over his shoulder before pulling his telescope from his coat pocket. Célestin waited as he observed the ships and was surprised when he heard his alpha laugh, " They have very colorful sails," The werewolf explained as he pocketed his telescope. It took a minute for him to decide, but when he made up his mind, Fenrir turned around and called up to the men tending the ropes to the sails, " We're changing course! Take us to that ship!" He pointed in the ship's direction. " Our journey will be long and we can use all the supplies we find. Gather up everyone and be ready to breach that ship. Loot them for supplies while I deal with their captain." He ordered before walking up the steps to the wheel and turned them in the direction of the ship with the rainbow sails. Célestin nodded and gracefully slipped off the edge of the ship where he had been relaxing. Naturally the werewolves were the best fighters, but Fantine, Kakeru, Regulus and even Gwendolyn were expected to fight. They lived together and fought together, and that was just how they lived on the Skullkracken.

Fenrir watched as Sultenúlfr went to the bottom decks to collect the rest of the crew members and smiled to himself. It wasn't normal for him to attack every ship they passed, despite being a pirate, but what he said had been true, about collecting supplies for the journey ahead. Also, it would give his betas a chance to let out some steam and practice before putting their skills to use. He knew that Nicolao was itching for a fight, having been stuck on NeverIsland with nothing to do, and that Romulus needed to practice fighting a little more. These were just humans that they were going up against, so no matter what, it would be a one-sided fight. Offhandedly, he took out the radar from his shoulderbag and turned it on, just like Fantine had done on the night in his cabin. He hadn't really messed around with the strange items the spacewizard had gave him, but he supposed there was no better time to practice than now.

To his surprise, there was a dot nearby, meaning a DragonSphere was close. Infact, it was so close that it was probably in the area. " Fantine," He called out to her once she and the rest of the crew made their way to the deck, " A dot means that a sphere is close, correct?" He asked, shaking the radar. According to it, the sphere was infront of them, just a little ways ahead. Fenrir looked up in that direction, expecting to find an island or something, but instead, found the ship. Even better! That ship had a DragonSphere on it, which only doubled Fenrir's desire to overtake that ship.

As they got closer to the ship, Fenrir stepped down from the wheel and looked towards his crew. " Remus, Romulus, you two make your way down to their supplies and take what you can. Kakeru will go with you so he can stun anyone who tries to stop you. Everyone else, distract the other crew members away from the supplies. Don't let them get on board the Skullkracken and retreat if you feel overwhelmed, for whatever reason. Leave the Captain to me." He smirked as they got closer.

☆trixxtal☆
Giving Jecht the cold shoulder was something he had come to perfect over time. Surprisingly enough, for as much as they claimed to be each other' best friend and meant alot to each other, they sure did fight alot. So much so that it was almost expected once a week. It happened enough that the crew stopped noticing it and hardly thought anything of it. So no one said anything when Trixxtal made it painfully obvious that he was going out of his way to avoid Jecht. He would spend time talking to random crew members that he hardly had talked to before and even went as far as to go down to where they kept the humans to strike up a conversation. He avoided the deck like the plague, which is how he found himself in the supply deck, speaking with Videl about his life in Spain and what is was like to be there.

"We'll reach NeverIsland by tomorrow. Once we hand the prisoners over to Nico, we can start our journey for the DragonSpheres." He reached over to take the radar out of Fantine's hands and examined it himself, turning it over to look at the back for seemingly no reason at all. " I want to start with the furthest and then work our way back from there. Samhain seems to be far away, but there is no telling how long it'll take us to collect all of the Spheres in time." His fist clenched around the scouter as he spoke, his voice turning darker. The thought of him not completing his quest in time got his blood boiling. This opportunity only came once in a lifetime and he wasn't going to blow it. He owed Freya that much.

He placed the scouter and radar back into the bag and stood up, " Thank you for your time. Get some rest so you can help unload our supplies to NeverIsland tomorrow." With that he slipped out the door and returned to his quarters.

When Cepheus, his savior, jumped into that water and lifted him up, Protettore automatically wrapped his arms and legs around his body, like a koala would do to a tree, and held on for dear life. He was probably choking the vampire, with his arms wrapped tightly around his neck, but Protettore didn't care! He was drowning, and now he wasn't, and he was determined to keep it that way. " T-Thank you so much!" He cried into Cepheus' hair. He didn't know who Cepheus was, not having the chance to meet him before this fiasco, but now he was Tori's most favorite crew member. " Tell them to pull me back up! I don't wanna do this anymore!!"

☆mariemaia☆
" Can't do that shortstuff! Jecht's ordered you to do something and we have to help you. You can't go against the Captain's orders!" She helpfully called down to them, glad that Cepheus had shown up when he did so Protettore didn't drown. She could only guess that Jecht was doing this to make the little boy stronger, but was completely going about it the wrong way. Making the poor child do impossible tasks wouldn't make him any stronger, and would only result in killing him. Sighing, Mariemaia leaned over the edge of the ship and watched the two in the water, hoping they would find a way to complete this task.

After taking a seat, Fenrir tried his best to explain the events that just happened in his meeting with Milton, but couldn't help feeling that he left something out. He went over the summoning, Samhain, the DragonSpheres....the only thing he was missing was...." Oh yes," He suddenly remembered, picking up the bag that he had placed at his feet and set it cautiously on the table. " The space wizard gave me these," He explained as he opened the bag and took out the scouter and radar, sliding them across the desk so Fantine could examine them. " He said that they can be used to locate the spheres needed to call the dragon. The radar acts like a compass and will direct us to the spheres. We must collect all seven to summon Koryuu and from there he will grant me my wish. The second is a scouter, which reveals the abilities of others before they attack. I'm only repeating what the wizard said, I haven't tried it myself," As he spoke, he eyed the equipment skeptically, expecting it to turn on him at any second. But, if he wanted to get Freya back, he had to trust what the space wizard told him and follow it thoroughly. " All of this must be finished before Samhain for it to work. After returning to the island, I will set a course for the closest sphere and start from there."

Remembering that Nemesis was just a beginner, he supposed that they should start off with something easy. " From now until tomorrow, take five minutes to stretch. It might not seem like much, but a well stretched body means the difference between a helpful workout and a hurtful one! We'll start with punches tomorrow so be sure to stretch your arms," He demonstrated as he talked, folding his arm behind his head and then pushed it back until his joints popped.

☆mariemaia☆
As if summoned by the very mention of his name, Mariemaia appeared on the other side of the door, a hopeful smile on her face, " Yes? Jecht needs me?" She asked, happy to do whatever task the captain assigned to her. She waited for Charile to explain, but became confused as he summarized Jecht's wishes. " Yes, I know how to swim. And you want me to train Trixxtal's nephew?" Because of the attack on the ship shortly after Protettore's arrive on board, most of the members hadn't met the child yet, or even knew he existed. Mariemaia was one of those who had no idea that there was a child on board, but she took it in stride and followed Charile up to the deck where Protettore was waiting.

" So! You must be Protettore! Im Mariemaia and I'll be teaching you how to swim." She held her hand out to the boy, her eyes shining brightly. She loved children and had always been secretly regretful that she never had one of her own. Not that she couldn't have some in the future, but a pirate ship was no place to raise a baby, and she wasn't quite ready to leave the FlyingDeath yet, so motherhood would have to wait. She had until eternity to have kids anyway, what was the rush?

" Charile says that you have to retrieve a crown in the sea, but you don't know how to swim, correct?" She walked over to the edge and looked down at the water, trying to decide which course of action would be best. Teaching a child to swim in the ocean was dangerous, more than dangerous actually; suicidal was the best term, but they lacked any other options. As she mused over the possibilities, she thought back to the time where she first met Jecht. She had been foolish and challenged him to a duel and at the cost of losing, he sunk her pirate ship. She still remembered his maniacal laughter as her ship fell to pieces and was swallowed by the sea and through the water in her eyes, she remembered his victorious smile looking down upon her. It was scary at the time, not knowing whether or not he was going to leave her floating out in the middle of the ocean, either dying from sharks or drowning, but despite all that, Mariemaia fell in love that day. The captain had not only managed to capture her treasures, but her heart as well, and now she would gladly follow him to the ends of the Earth if it meant she would be able to stay with him.

No matter how nice the memories were, she had a job to do and she turned back to Protettore, ready to get the job done. " Teaching you how to swim is impossible all the way out here, unless we were trying to kill you, so we'll use this," She picked up a thick rope that was conveniently on the deck and squeezed it in her hands, testing its durability.

☆protettore☆
He didn't like this idea.

He didn't like this idea at all.

" Are you sure this is going to work Miss Maia?" He called out, clutching the rope that was tied beneath his armpits and chest for dear life. It was the only thing keeping him suspended above the water and although it hurt, he was glad that Charlie hadn't done Jecht's method and just throw him overboard.

" You have nothing to worry about! Charlie and I have ya!" Mariemaia yelled from above where they were slowly lowering him into the water. Before pushing him over the edge, she had briefly gone over the basic swimming maneuvers. " Just kick your arms and legs until you stay afloat!" She had said," The rope around your chest will stop you from drowning!"

It sounded easy in theory, but now that he was inches away from the water, he could feel fear nipping away at his resolve. I can't do this I can't do this I can't do this I can't do this I can't do this! He cried out in his head and started to panic. But it was too late to call out and tell them to stop because before he could open his mouth, he hit the water. It was a cold shock, touching the water for the first time and Tori's breath stopped, along with his movements. The rope was preventing him from drowning, but the crippling fear that he was going to die had already taken over and he began to freak out, kicking his arms and legs all around, splashing the water everywhere in a frenzy. He could hear Mariemaia yell, " No! Not like that! Like this!" as she made smaller hand movements, but Tori didn't care because he was going to die and Mariemaia and Charlie were just going to stand there and watch.

" GET ME OUT OF HERE! TAKE ME UP!" He pleaded, his voice going higher in the way that frightened children's voices do, and he could taste the salty water in his mouth. It was only because of all the splashing he was doing and not because they had dropped him, but his crazed mind didn't know that and he continued to freak out more.

Valente Mancini

12/31

Unlike the rest of the Giordano crew, Valente is 100% non-vampire, and is actually a wizard. He is a wanted fugitive from his homeworld, Wiz, and has made a contract with Protettore to help him and protect his fortress. In return of his assistance, Protettore offers him protection and a place to stay while the wizards from back home search for him. He has been apart of the Giordano family for quite some time, and although he acts like a pest most of the time, he has grown fond of his little vampire family.

Born on a different planet, Valente was considered as close to royalty as he could get without being a direct descendant of the King himself. His aunt is married the King, making him the King's nephew, but even without that, he comes from a very prestigious bloodline. Growing up in wealth was easy and Valente lead a very comfortable lifestyle, especially compared to some of the less fortunate people on Wiz. But his life wasn't always as easy going as it may have seemed, because Valente was born with an extraordinary amount of power. In any other situation that would be a thing of praise, but in the strict world of Wiz, it was a death sentence. His uncle, the King, was paranoid about those stronger than him, and forced those with above average magical power to wear collars that would explode if they used too much magic at once. It was to ensure that powerful wizards would never use their magic to overpower him, but to those who actually had to wear the collar, it was shameful and degrading. Valente's own father was forced to wear one, and once he and his wife found out that Valente had so much power, they had to act.

So when he was young, his parents created a seal in the form of a tattoo on his back that would stop his powers from growing, and to hide his already existing magic.
Nicolao

A strong werewolf who is apart of the SKULLKRACKEN, Nicolao is one of Fenrir's betas. Before being changed by Fenrir, Nicolao lived a very simple life in the Spanish countryside. His father was a farmer and wanted Nicolao to take over for him when he got too old to work, but Nicolao's uncontrollable anger got in the way of farming. When his father was working hard in the fields, Nicolao was still in bed, hungover and sleeping off the night before. Eventually it got to be too much for his father and he passed away, leaving his farm to his only son. But Nicolao was not properly trained to be a farmer and later sold it for a sack of gold. With that money, Nicolao bought himself a house closer to the city and proceeded to drink himself into an early death.

It was during a bar fight that Nicolao met Fenrir. He was there with his betas, enjoying their own drinks, when one of them looked at Nicolao the wrong way and he immediately picked a fight with him. Little did Nicolao know that these were werewolves he was dealing with, but despite that, he managed to hold his own in a brawl with a beta. Impressed, Fenrir offered him a way to get stronger by joining their crew and becoming one of them. With nothing else to loose, Nicolao accepted and joined Fenrir in his search for the Dragon Spheres.
