• Name: Mikoto Satou
• Age: 16
• Gender: Male
• Race: Youkai (Raijū)
• Appearance: Mikoto's human form is roughly 168 centimeters in height, and is of average weight. He's almost never seen without his headphones, and usually wears anything as long as it's comfortable. He occasionally takes the form of a white dog resembling a wolf.
• Personality: Usually something of a slacker, Mikoto comes off as aloof and almost sleepy to most people... until thunderstorms roll in. When the weather starts changing, he becomes more energetic and excitable, though he might also become irritable. He often listens to a lot of rock music, and finds the sound of electric guitar soothing. His hobbies also include watching monster movies and playing video games. Oddly enough, he has a thing for girls who like showing off their midriff.
• Abilities: Able to absorb and channel electricity and sense electromagnetic fields; enhanced reflexes and strength when the atmosphere is electromagnetically charged
• Skills: Bōjutsu; was originally taught by his father as a way to protect himself without relying on his yokai abilities, but has become rusty. He'll often make mistakes and leave openings for opponents.
• Equipment: Sasumata (of the modern variety)
• Brief Backstory: Mikoto grew up in the Akaishi Mountains with his parents until he'd learned to keep his control of electricity in check. As time went on, the family moved from small towns to the big city due to his father's work, and he lost contact with many friends. By the time middle school came, his family seemed to have settled, and Mikoto had made several friends, a few of which were youkai. When middle school was finished, he enrolled at Miyama, though has mostly kept to himself, and refrained from joining clubs.

@VitaVitaAR I figured that was a given. Though if legend says that the creature in question can't shapeshift, does that exclude it from the list? Or are we just going to say that most/all youkai with enough power and skill can shapeshift?

@VitaVitaAR A little question on the subject of youkai characters: are we talking explicitly youkai/mononoke (ie- Raiju), or can other folkloric/cryptozoological creatures be worked in (ie- Hibagon, Issie, tsuchinoko)?
