Lol, week of snow. Sorry, I am a Michigan winter snob, so when I hear people who are most likely in warmer climates complainant about snow I get all snobby about it. Though I do understand if you aren't used to it, you aren't used it!
Glitter is totally real, it is the herpies of the art world. Once you get it on you, it never really goes away.
Alright, so here is the first post info-dump location for this RP. Below will be the copy-pasted info from the interest check, as well as any other reference information that might be important or nice to have easy reference to. Please post your characters for a nod of approval before moving them to the character sheet section. Here goes:
The general idea is that you will play a member of the occult, a vampire, werewolf, ghost, etc. during the German occupation in WWII Era France. You will be in amongst a group of normal soldiers so you are still in hiding, but due to your supernatural ways you are nearly invincible and decided that, hey, I've been living here for a few hundred years maybe I ought to help protected my neighbors, my food supply, or maybe you just like killing people. Whatever the reason, you enlisted in the military or joined up as a freedom fighter and decided to do what it is that you do best.
This will be an alternate history, but I will borrow from real events. Also, I don't speak French and know little about France, so if these things are going to be a problem, then you might want to walk, er.. click... whatever, away. If you are willing to give me some creative liberties with historical events, then maybe this will be fun.
Name: Picture: (real or drawn, not picky, a description will work if you don't have a picture that you want to use) Age: (appearance age or actual age in the case of the extremely long-lived) Race: (a link to some sort of reference about your race might be nice) Abilities: Bio/History: (not required, but it might help add some flavor)
You will all be part of the first cells of Combat, the first militia members of the resistance. If you choose you can have it in your history that you were part of the French military prior to its defeat in June of 1940. You can certainly play a normal human if you prefer. You could if you like be American, Brittish, or Polish in nationality if you prefer that over being French.

@Tenslashsix I will get a character sheet up in a few hours when I get home from work, but it's going to be pretty spartan. And yes, fighting against the Nazis as a French freedom fighter, or an American/English agent if one felt so inclined.
I'll hold off on getting everything started until tomorrow in case someone else pops in, otherwise we will make due without.
@Tenslashsix I can go either way on that. If I do a stat it'll only be a really basic two stat thing, but I more or less intend it to be freeform even if I were to implement a stat. But at the same time, why complicate it further by adding stuff like that to it if I am not going to make it a rigid system.
@shamrocknroll I think the level of technology will stay pretty darn close to what we were working with during WWII. I might make a few occult gizmos to have to deal with.
@DeadDrop@Herald and everybody else: How many people do we want to have in this? I find large groups can be tiresome to wait on someone to post, but small groups fall apart easily if one person disappears. I am happy to close it up with you four, or I am happy to continue collecting players.
Also, I suppose that you don't have to be a paranormal entity if you wanted, you could certainly be a normie just trying to survive and trying to figure out how these other people keep making it through the insanity.
I won't lie to you folks, I was inspired for this by a thing I saw on the facebooks.

Still interested? Let's see what we can come up with.
Also, it occurs to me that the GDA could possibly be used to push/pull ally weapons as well. So Paladin sends a few tungsten slugs flying through the air and Ojo redirects them to get them around defenses. That sort of thing... Sorry, just thinking out loud here.
Also, just watched the first episode of Darling in the FRANXX. I think I like it. The mechanical design of the mechs are still stupid, to me anyway, but the rest of the show was pretty sweet, as so far as the first episode, at least.
@Ariamis Well the idea works heavily on Induction. In cooking, you can use induction magnets to heat the pan itself, rather than using the electricity and the resistance in the metal to create heat in a coil which leaches out and slowly heats other things nearby. More or less it is way faster, safer and more efficient way of cooking. If you take that to a graviton star level, I am more or less cooking the ammunition or power supply inside the weapons being targeted in order to ignite them and cause them to explode. Shrugs, but I still think that the gravbomb is better.
