Current In the beginning were the Words, and the Words made the world. I am the Words. The Words are everything. Where the Words end the world ends. You cannot go forward in an absence of space. Repeat.

Casual-advanced. 1x1 and Group RP, no preference.
Up to make mischief, make memories, and make a fool of myself.
And maybe roleplay a little on the side. :)
Dating @Mateotis who is much more active than I am here, but also decidedly a much more gifted writer/poet. Hound him if you're looking for me.
A little sickly and evidently severely lacking in impulse-control, so patience is appreciated in general.

He might just need Shou.

But for real, I don't know what to do with my professor. He's still as dateable to any of the girls. Or guys...

I realise Alban is straight but I ship it.

Who are we left with, in girls and guys?
Shizuka, Amity, Tomoko, Nori, Amaya, Akane, Ryoki, Rosanna, Aoi, Sabine. Ka...ga?
Am I missing anyone?

And for guys, um.
James, Shou, Yutaro, Kyle, Zac, Oliver, Nick, Alban, Copen. ...kaga?

I feel like I'm missing someone so give me a shout!

Nori and Kyle are generally off the market then, huh? But they only just met and you never know...

I ship Shou and Amity or Rosanna for the moment, because I would say Ryoki but between Yutaro and Zac, it's pretty hard...
...and Shizuka and Alban...
...and possibly Amity and Oliver. Ha, what a laugh. What if he's in a bodyguard situation and something develops?

Either way, the laws of anime clearly state: the more tragic your backstory, the happier you get to be in the main story.

Errr...um, well, uuh...

*Prepares cue-cards*
Son, we need to have a talk...
I'm still utterly confused whether the flaxen-haired DJ was meant to be Nori or Omochao, but I guess we'll never know...

More bloodbath for the rest of us!
Also @Bozo if we're talking dog breeds, Oliver is either a Rottweiler or a German Shepherd, I think.
(Yes I thought of police dogs)

And Nori is like...like a Border Collie. Pretty and lovely and hardworking and quietly beautiful. But collies don't traditionally come in golden.

Ryoki is...uh, probably a Dalmatian, actually. I can't see her as much else...

Which leaves some.

Shizuka is probably a doge!! Japanese Chin. Or even some Shiba Inu related breed...

Uuuhhhh. Kaori would have been a Papillon...

I cannot come up with one for Shou though. Or the remaining cast...
Ideas?

(PS Zac as corgi pls <3)
;;;;
@Daxam
@Delta44

I just put up my post too, halp!
If it's too incongruous, I'll go ahead and change it but if not, I hope you can tweak it into the flow of things!

"You'll catch a cold out here in the rain like this."

A soft, low voice came like a murmur in the sounds of the falling rain, and if the raven haired woman had any part of her sopping wet in the rain before, now no drops fell on her entirely. Hunched on the bench, the man with the striking silver hair stood above her, holding his deep indigo umbrella over hers, and ensuring no drops at all would touch her skin. Of course, said chivalrous act did not stop the rain from falling on him as he said not another word, letting a note of silence ring between the two of them. Droplets soon enough covered his glasses, though if she looked up, she'd be met with solemn brown eyes and at seeing her face, a small, concerned, if curt, smile.

As he was driving past, Shiny Park not being far from the Tiny Snowflake at all, he had seen a flash of yellow unmistakably familiar, and with the billowing black locks that accompanied it, he was certain he had seen this person before. What actually made him park the car into a bay and follow this woman was the fact that he noticed her running, as if trying to get away from something. Bad things happened in bad weather.

Bad things happened in bad weather.

Offering her his open gloved hand (what, and you thought Shou would let his fingers go cold and numb? Not when he had to drive!), he held it before her as if for her to take so he could pull her gently to her feet. The leather was as white as his now wet hair, progressively growing limp as more moisture collected, but made it shine.

Though he wasn't quite focused on that. The lady, solemn as she sat, and on the very verge of tears, had a melancholy beauty about her he couldn't place. So charmed was he that he allowed the moment to linger, just a little longer, before speaking again.
"Miss Mochizukki, I would be hard-pressed to forget a face as lovely as yours, even here in the misty rain. Forgive me; I happened to follow you here..." he let his voice trail off, tilting his head back and with curious brown eyes, finally observing the area they found themselves in, "...because I thought I recognised you, and wanted to apologise for my behaviour last night. I'm lucky to have bumped into you, perhaps more like made it so, today."

"And I noticed you seemed...melancholy. A muse in the pouring rain, sitting alone by the trees."
Shou Matsuoka, somewhere deep down, subconsciously still loved the rain. It made him more romantic, for sure. It reminded him of better times. It was a bittersweet memory to the man.

"And if there is anything at all that I can do to make your rainy day a little brighter..." he bowed a little here, though with a more noble air behind it, only just dropping the idea of kneeling before her on the grassy pathway when remembering that it was raining, and his knees would be soaking wet, "...I'm quite prepared to dedicate a portion of this Sunday to doing just that."
He paused, before adding with a little flush, "Ryoki."

...and, as if right out of any comic relief panel ever, as if on cue of a sadistic director who ran life itself, Shou's stomach let out a low grumble that made the unsuspecting man flinch.
Ah yes, hunger pangs...

"If you would allow me the pleasure, would some..." he checked his watch. Lunchtime. "...lunch at the Tiny Snowflake with me sound like a plan?"
Aww,@Delta44 and someone I know was going to go make Ryoki feel a little better, too.

Fuck it, I'll do it anyway. The scene is too perfect to forego.

Amie is Pom confirmed.
I feel the strange, sudden need to compare all characters, past and present, to dog breeds.

@Chicogal
I don't care what your headcanon is, Copen is a Golden Retriever. xD
Always friendly and getting into trouble...he reminds me a bit of Marley from Marley and Me.

@lovely complex
Amity reminds me of a poodle dyed pink, pampered to perfection.

And
@Cirrus
James feels like a red haired Cocker Spaniel.

@Takashi
And Takashi reminds me of a slick Doberman Pinscher.

@Knight of Doom
I kind of get a Saluki vibe from Amaya. Fit and elegant, you know?

That's all I can really come up with at the moment, though I know so many people remain.

Throw in your two cents, folks!
PS: Call the cops if abnormalities ensue.
@Knight of Doom

So Amaya leaves in the post right after Shou decides to head to the Tiny Snowflake...

Kouhai failed to notice me.

And @Narcotic Dollie
Don't you know it, Narcy. :')
"Uugh, my head..."
The silver haired professor awoke around noon on Sunday to a the dim lights from outside creeping in through frosted cream curtains hanging above the ceiling-to-floor windows just a metre or two by his bedside.

Having more of a start when he sat up in bed and wondered what time he slept into, and whether it was evening again, he was pleasantly surprised to find it was noon. But the weather was...ominous at best.
He stretched out his limbs, before reaching out a hand for his glasses on the bedside. Having retrieved them, another yawn left his lips before he finally rose to his feet, a little surprised to find himself still in the clothes from the night before. (Shou usually slept...well...)

Slipping into a comfortable pair of slippers, he cautiously inched his way closer to the window, pulling the curtains aside gingerly. A myriad of tiny drops detailed the pane, and gazing up at the sky left a rather sombre expression on the young man's face. It was raining.

Once upon a time, Shou Matsuoka, a young man in his 20s, loved the rain. He would go out in an umbrella and thick boots and take his dog, who adored the little water droplets to date, out on walks. He would whistle and spin around and laugh in it, and kiss his girlfriend in the rain. The way her nose went red in cold weather and her cheeks went warm...Shou was absolutely smitten.

The man swung open the large sliding door that led into the Veranda, and he stepped out.
Drip drip drip.
It fell on his head. Fresh little drops that he tilted his head back and tasted. It made him inhale sharply at the memory, frozen stiff for what could be a handful of seconds.

After all, the rain took Alex away, too.

Not enduring the kisses of the drops that fell from the sky for much longer, the man with a solemn prayer stepped back inside and made sure to seal the door extra tight. Hearing a demanding rumble from his stomach, he had decided it was too early for breakfast. He might as well have lunch instead. Having made no former precautions, he was foodless. Therefore, coffee first and food were on his agenda.

And there was nowhere else but the restaurants of busy Shine Junction, for the very best of the best. He decided to himself, stepping out of the shower and slipping on a beige trench-coat coupled with comfortable black trousers.

The very most he could do at home was go downstairs, though he was much earlier met by the two of his dogs, and make himself a strong coffee. Like Ryoki, though she didn't know it and neither did he, he was a fan of taking the roast home and surviving off it for as long as necessary. Today was one of those days. With a cup of coffee soon brewed and in a careful container, he stepped outside with his keys.

His memory, hazy as it was, clicked on two things right then.
1. Oliver was still an amazing old friend, who had driven him home and had the courtesy to bring Shou's Ford back, too!
2. ...that was a Saturday morning cooking class missed.

Sighing, he slid into the car and powered it up against the light fog of the weather. Though wet roads were dangerous, Shou was experienced a driver enough. Setting course for the Tiny Snowflake, the gentleman took a few more sips before being well on his way into the grey fog of the misty afternoon, cut into by none other than the lights of Shine Junction, bright and warm.
