Name: Jun Takachiho
Nickname/Alias: Junebug
Age: 15
Gender: Male
Appearance Description: Standing at 5’5” with dark hair reaching down to the middle of his nape, his appearance doesn’t scream “strong, unique and confident.” He can often be seen wearing a light grey shirt and blue jeans, though he often wears a hazy grey jacket in colder weathers. His appearance can often be affected by events and people around him, however.
Biography: Seven years ago, Jun held a solid object in a room, standing still. Its glimmer showed the reflection of him- a conflicted child- and the child’s bed. There were four outliers in the memory that he still could not make conclusions of- another child of his age standing at the door, an oddity he could only call a “translucent stain,” a figure that lay in front of him, and a figure nearby the window. The child knew nothing to make of from these things.
But a long gap remained in his memory, starting again only at the memory of two adults smiling hopefully for him in front of a house.
Since then, life moved on, time following along hastily. With loving parents who took him in, encouraging him to discover what he wants to be in the future, he learned of the same normal life many others had lived. He had a sister, a mother, a father- all the while attending a small, but fulfilling school. Life was normal, and it seemed like it would remain so if he let it be.
As of recent events, however, he happened to find a small piece of paper that seemed to be related to him. It seemed rather harmless, so he told nobody else about it. After all, it was almost as if his memory never happened, so he figured he shouldn't bother anyone about it. He aims to piece together his life in hopes of moving on with everyone else.
Personality: Soft-spoken and quite literally possessing a soft voice, Jun seems anything but confident- yet, he is. Though his voice is soft, his actions and expressions often speak volumes for him on their own. Whether he snaps his fingers in approval or visibly looks like he’s trying to look like he’s not associated with anybody who’s embarrassing him, his expressiveness makes him more talkative than he seems. Sometimes, his Esper Power is used to simply to change the emphasis of his actions' sounds. He often amuses or teases his family in various wordless ways.
Despite his expressiveness, one of the critical weaknesses in his personality is that he is rather inconsistent with getting whatever point he wants to make across. He also makes it rather hard to tell whether he’s lying or telling the truth in a matter.
Jun seems to have a larger-than-life appreciation for takoyaki. If Jun were presented a free meal at either a five-star restaurant or a takoyaki stand, then Jun would pick the takoyaki stand without any hesitation. He has a history of being ripped off occasionally this way, as his simple nature can be taken advantage of when his guard is down.
Esper Power: Level 2 (Wavelength) – Jun can manipulate sound vibrations near him, as well as traveling wavelengths to certain degrees. For instance, he can silence his own footsteps while speeding himself up or climb walls with more ease. The most he can do in a combat situation is push people or create a thin, invisible barrier nearby him, or use defensive arts in conjunction with his power.
While the power itself has high potential of being much stronger and almost lethal, it is held back by Jun’s own lack of interest to extensively hone it.
Skills: One of Jun’s most distinctive features is his ability to cook exceptionally well, though it is occasionally hampered when he gets experimental with his food. He also happens to have some talent in rock climbing, Judo, and running. Jun is rather good at memorizing things, though the complete opposite seems to happen in very high temperatures.
Ambition: Jun has several ambitions that can be considered normal, such as opening a food stand one day or wrapping up loose ends with his memory. He can often be seen wandering around in Academy City in his free time unless his family wants to spend time together with him.
Extra: Jun doesn’t sleep that much.
Let me know if anything needs fixing with this one.
