Papal Army numbers 13,000. Have not been able to track down French garrisons other than 56,000 in Algeria.

That's what you think. I'm pretty sure one of Aegon's last moves will have Bobby Lee mysteriously disappear, only for Cardinal Roberto Lee take over the army for the Papal states.

I have French and Austrian support...Also, how the hell does the Anglican Church work without a monarch??

Yeah! I'm not trolling. I'm considering playing Portugal, hahahaEDIT: But I think the Papal States could make the war in Europe very interesting.

Ok hypothetically what would happen if this happened. The German states become a third German country, that way we have Prussia, Austria and this other unnamed country.I imagine it would be a matter of who is in charge out of all of the states to run this new country?

Ok so I just want to make sure I am correct here. The German states is most of that big mess of colours in the middle of Europe. Next to the Rhine? And Prussia wants all them little countries to be one big one?

@Solamelike - When I first saw France declared war on all those states I was like "Is he looking for a way to end the French Empire and bring about a new form of government? No way can he win. He has enemies on all sides of him."

To be expected, I think. The game is enjoyable, and there were a few things I didn't like (the British blockade against the Union, the sudden end to the Taiping Rebellion, just to name a couple...), but I didn't come in here expecting to simulate history either. I'm under the impression that most of us have a passing understanding of this century and the politics of the era, if that, so, again, I joined like I would any other game. Play the game, see what everyone does, react accordingly, and then carry on.
