Short Bio: Frederick was never shown much in the way of love or affection as a child from his parents. Rather he received very strict nurturing intended by his parents to turn him into a stern man able to hold his own with best in the Military Police. His parents wanted him to make it into the Military Police when he got older so he could live a more cozy life than the one they had, he can from a rather poor family who had to fight to keep what little they had.
Do to the way he was raised Frederick held a cold calculating eye towards everything in life be it who to make friends with or even wether or not to save someone in need. As much as his parents desired for him to be in the Military Police he had other plans. He wanted to join the survey corps. In his eyes they were the only ones who deserved him and if he landed anywhere else he wouldn't have a reason to put in his full effort. His view on the world they lived in and the people who filled it were very different from most children, instead of the joy or ignorance they had sheltering them he saw the world for what it was, a cold heartless place where only the smart and strong survive. People more often than not we're out for themselves and only faked generosity and other kind emotions.
Personality: Frederick is a very calculated person. He bases most of his decision on odds of his own survival. While he is cold to most he will sometimes show acts of kindness even if they go against his best interest. He's a hard individual to pin down, some times he seems as those he doesn't care about anyone, others it seems he does care. He's very observant in most situations and will often act on these observations rather than on instinct.
