"Ah, of course" Hotaru replied, in a rather chipper voice

As she reached for a bag of bread, Hotaru came to realize that this was probably the most extended contact she had had with Haruko. They weren't particularly close, but they knew of each other.

Hmm, maybe I should change that, she thought to herself, reaching back for the bread, and picking out a nice looking specimen. Most of Hotaru's freinds came from similar interests and groups as her; language nerds, others obsessed with foreign cultures and countries, and gamer kids. It might be nice for a change to have someone to talk to who could introduce her to new things

Break up the monotony a little bit, she smiled at the thought

"Here you are," Hotaru said brightly, handing the bread over to Haruko.

"Say, Haruko," she spoke again, "You said you didn't really have any plans for today, and well, neither do I. You wouldn't mind if maybe we hung out or something would you? I mean, I know we don't really interact much but, you seem like a nice person"

She chuckled a bit, "in any case, it'd be something to kill some time"

Kabal darted to the side, dodging the tendril, and swinging the hook swords, stabbing them into the mass of the tendril, pulling them back to sever it from the larger body. Taking note of the others methods of attack, Kabal followed suit. The eyes of his mask began to glow violet, before firing off a mass of purple energy towards the shadow creature, as he darted forward, stopping abruptly to throw two sawblades at the monster at high speeds, whirling them at high speed to get them lodged deep into the mass of shadow and tendrils.

As the Hyenas began to turn on her, Tano took to shooting as many as she could manage. However, the beasts go to her first, one quickly locking its jaw onto her forearm, and another tackling her to the ground, and digging its teeth into her shoulder. Tano struggled as much as she could, crying out in pain as another hyena took to gnawing on one of her legs. Shortly, she began to fall into shock from the pain and blood loss, not noticing that Joey had taken on a wolf form.

Kabal ceased his attack as Starfire positioned herself between he and Joe. Letting up from his fighting stance, he spoke to both of them.
"I have no interest in furthering this. I have better uses for my time" he spoke apathetically. That was until he heard another loud shriek, and an eldrichian monster, meandering its way towards the three of them. Kabal sneered and raised his swords again.

Tano was out for a while, visions of before the crash began to play in her head the dreams becoming more complicated and bizarre as they played on, with monstrous animals she had encountered in her travels materializing. As they grew in size they chased her in her dream, coming closer, and closer and closer, until finally attacking her. With that, she shot back awake, finding herself still laying on the sand, and with the sound of inhuman cackling out in the distance.

Tano forced herself up, picking up her rifle, and taking shot at the hyenas she saw, picking them off with her plasma rifle with what energy she had left. She picked herself onto her feet and knelt, hoping to get her skin off the sand. @Letmehaveone2

@mmarage Kabal sneered, though it would not be noticeable under his mask. It would appear that this one was even less of a threat than he had expected. Brandishing his hook swords, Kabal advanced on Joe, intending to kill him as quick as possible and be on his way.

@Letmehaveone2 Tano winced as her scout ship began to spiral out of control into the atmosphere of an unknown world. It was hard to determine how far the altitude had been before her descent, nor if she would survive. The impact was hard, and the spray of sand and fire into the sky would be terrifying to any nearby animals or people. Tano was ejected from the wrecked ship, alive, but hurt. The sand burned her as she crawled her way out.

I'm going to die here, am I not? she thought, barely hanging on. As her sight began to dim, she caught sight of what looked like a humanoid figure, not too far from her. She crawled her way further, only to stop, and collapse entirely on the hot, sandy ground.

Human-level mortality - Nohites are, for all intents and purposes, humans with rabbit ears.
Poor Hearing - Compared to humans, Nohites have poorer hearing

Species:
Nohite - Nohites are a near-human species from the planet Noh, known to the people of earth as TRAPPIST-1g. Nohites evolved from ground-dwelling primate-like ancestors with very long ears. Their resemblance to humans is purely superficial, and in spite of Humans referring to them as "rabbit-people", they are not closely related to any rabbit-like ancestors. Nohites are more advanced than humans technologically and have largely colonized the entire solar system of Trappist. A very imperialistic species, they often send out scouts to other worlds to determine if they are suitable for colonization. Female Nohites are typically more aggressive than males, and are known to exhibit natural aggression towards other females. Females are polyandrous and mate with many males at a time, and may keep many male mates.

Crush: No one at the moment, but another male, even a human, is not out of the question.

Tano is committed to her job, that is to scout her target world for suitability of conlonization. However, she has a wandering mind and often will lose track of time and be marveled at the wonders of alien worlds. Tano is also something of a thrill seeker and is known for her fraternisation and flirtation with men.

Bio:
Tano was raised on a moon within the greater area of Nohite habitation. The small state of Kancha was involved in attacks on other states both on and off their moon. Part of the war effort of the Nohites is scouts, individuals trained to go to determine the potential habitability of a world. If seen as habitable but inhabited by dangerous lifeforms or a rival civilization, the Nohites will attempt to drive them to extinction. Tano is a scout who has been to various lands to determine if they are capable of sustaining life. At the current time, something has gone wrong, and she's ended up on an unknown world.

Kabal had begun to lose interest in the child, who was unwilling to divulge any more info than a false act of innocence. Maybe it would work on a typical person, but Kabal had spent far too much time in Chaosrealm to simply take things at face value. However, things escalated quickly, as a bullet landed a short distance away from him. He turned his head to catch sight of a man with a sniper rifle of sorts.

Before the man would have the chance to blink, Kabal darted forward at him, turning to slam his shoulder into the aggressor at supersonic speed. He intended to take whatever weapons he had telepathically with the Nomad's Touch, should the hit connect and cause him to drop his gun. @mmarage

Screaming caught Kabal's ears as he walked about, his head turning to catch sight of an interesting display in the shadows on the walls.

"Hmm, that's unusual"

Kabal made his way to the hutong, but he didn't find what he expected. Just a kid. Kabal knew better than to just dismiss this. Obviously this child was more than what he seemed.

Kabal began tapping his hook swords on the ground to catch Pride's attention. "So tell me kid, what's your secret?"

Several small orbs of light coalesced into a single spot, and from them, a figure of a human man could be seen forming. The man, clad in a metal mask, armed with hook swords, stood as his eyes adjusted once more to the sun of Earth. Kabal had not been back to earth in a long while now, and it was a bit refreshing to look at something other than dark purple skies or the ever shifting mess of Chaosrealm. However, Kabal recognized that this place was unlike the earth that he called home.

He would take on this mission alone, the other Black Dragon members remaining in Outworld on missions of their own. Havik had informed him of the chaotic presence that he detected in this place, and Kabal sought to cultivate its growth. Stepping out of the alleyway that he had appeared in, it became apparent that he was in a city of sorts. People walked the streets, a few seemed to stare at the bizarre respirator that he wore, and the hook swords on his back. Kabal paid them little mind, eyes fixated ahead as he began to walk, letting the essence of Chaos guide him. With luck, the source of this discord could be found, and nurtured into full blown anarchy. And perhaps, maybe new recruits into the Black Dragon could be found here.
