Been working on my next post. Decided to do math and see how population of Alvith will grow over time. Going to just be doing a percentage increase in population moving forward. Has been a 13% increase each time based on amount of male/female Alvith pairs then having half that produce offspring. I am going to stop but had so far been keeping track of male and female numbers along with adults and children. Anyway just did math and populations growth increases drastically at around 1,000 Pop mark.
Will be interesting to see what race reaches 1,000 first as potentially will have largest population on planet. So many contenders around same population. Will be exciting to see who it ends up being.
Happenings in Village of Scalo Chief Krascalo had watched the growth of his village as symbol of strength of rule. Standing by the side of the Chief was his son Caalo who was being raised to rule. Having grabbed the power to rule by being the strongest when Scalo Kriivith died, Krascalo Vith was determined to have his son lead after him. To ensure this Krascalo would do his best to train Caalo for greatness every chance he had. Everything that Krascalo knew of strength and how to fight he would pass on to Caalo. During one night alone Krascalo would ponder why could he not rule over both villages? He had every right too, he was strong and his village had grown strong. The thought of ruling over both villages was very appealing to the power hungry Krascalo. In secret Krascalo would share ambitions to rule all of the Alvith.
"I Chief, I strong. Deserve to rule." Krascalo spoke to Caalo. "Yes, I Caalo son of chief. Strong!" Caalo spoke nodding to his father. "One day, both villages I rule. Strongest shall rule, Caalo I Chief and blood flows. Destined to rule." Krascalo spoke while looking up at night sky.
The following day after Chief Krascalo Vith had spoken about his ambitions in private with his sun the eclipse happened. Many in the village would look up in amazement at this rare occurrence. However Chief Krascalo looked upon the eclipse with dread. Thoughts of wanting to rule over all Alvith were still on mind of Chief Krascalo and he took the eclipse as the great serpent looking down upon him with furious anger. Why the Chief stayed in his hut wasn't questioned by villagers as they preformed a offering of a Ogurk in honor of the Great Serpent. The task of affixing the stone tool head was proving to be of some difficulty to Raclo. First idea had been simply to try smacking the wood handle against stone tool head but that wasn't working. No matter what Raclo attempted the tool head would not stay on. While frustrated with lack of success Raclo had a idea hit him. Watching a small spider like creature wrap its prey up would inspire Raclo what if he wrapped the stone tool head onto handle. Now though came the issue of what would Raclo use.
Happenings in Village of Rielo When the eclipse happened it went quiet inside village of Rielo. Walking out from a hut was one of the village elders who used a spear as a cane. Those outside would look to the elder wondering what he would say. Walking up onto center flat stone in middle of the village the Elder looked seeing those who had gathered.
"Great Serpent!" The elder pointed up towards the eclipse. "Eyes of Great Serpent watch together! Great honor! Nothing fear, great time!" The elder would lower his arm leaning on spear more.
The villagers would cheer at Elders words and begin to celebrate the eclipse. Some in village tried shows of strength with ritual combat to give Great Serpent something to watch while others feasted on stored food to celebrate life. The Elder who walked with spear as a cane moved off the center flat stone in village as a bonfire was built to burn the bodies of elders who had passed. Going off into his hut the Elder with cane got a bit Ogurk hide and blood. Using the blood on hide the Elder would smear the blood to make a symbol then walked out from his hut.
"To honor Great Serpent! Village carry image of two eyes!" spoke the Elder who motioned for Vonle to lift the hide up. Later that day outside the village of Rielo to north Kaalo had gathered several other members of tribe to help with trying to figure out how to use these bricks he had developed to construct a home out of. It only had taken a few hours for Kaalo to explain how he made the sun dried clay mud bricks and work began trying to make a hut. Flattening ground down then stacking the bricks seemed to work until the bricks stacked so high they toppled over.
I'll work on getting up eclipse post today. Have most of it done but was waiting to get reply to last post but going to do my best to finish up post for today.

Sorry for later post then I thought I would be able to do. Was ready to post but decided to rewrite a lot of it as wasn't happy with what I wrote. Mostly Alvith reaction to eclipse I rewrote.
I would imagine that in order for that to happen the moon and planet would have to be very close. And in that case there would be absolutely insane tidal forces.
In other words, no one living anywhere near the coast would be safe.
I did not really think about whole tidal forces being a issue.
Does the Moons atmosphere ever encounter with the planets atmosphere to form a temporary bridge that a balloon could possibly cross to moon?

I'm gonna have to go read some of old roleplay. Memory isn't the greatest and lost a lot of notepads with random stuff I wrote down.
Well part of history is not knowing exact dates of certain events that are so far back to not be recorded. A time keeping system I think should be more IC than OOC. Races that engage in regular interaction such as trade adopt similar time keeping systems to better coordinate trade, something like that happening. Look forward to IC in future that could involve various races that develop historians trying to align events in timelines.
Sorry for such a long time between my posts. It was just one thing after the other kept popping up delaying me from posting. Hopefully won't happen again. Every time I'd go to work on post something would come up but should be good now.
Happenings in Village of Scalo The work of Raclo had been getting more results as of late. He had managed to figure out how to break stones the right way though would need to practice it more. Looking to rocks Raclo then looked to some branches the right shape for handles however how to attach them would be a great deal of work. With new task at hand Raclo would decide to focus on finding a way to put a stone axe head on a branch handle. Happenings in Village of Rielo Slightly north of Rielo village was the Alvith Kaalo back working on trying to make a mud brick. This time though was success at last for Kaalo after having mixed in grass this time when working to with mud and mold. The grass added fibers that helped the mud brick stick together more and with success Kaalo celebrated rest of time lying in the sun. Though as Kaalo rested he knew that work was only half way done as he had merely solved the issue of producing the bricks and next challenge would be using the bricks to build a hut. @Nerevarine Kralo would stand tall looking to the Arsuron missionaries. The books they held were strange objects to a Alvith, the spears of Alvith were just wood. The Alvith Kralo would look back to Oarlo signaling with his hand to stop the Ogurk and keep them put for now while he handled these strange creatures. Kralo would turn to look at the Arsuron again before going to speak. "I Kralo." spoke Kralo pointing at himself and would pause for a moment before speaking again. "Who?" spoke Kralo pointing to the Arsuron.

Ogurk I've always seen as if you cross a wild boar and a bison. This big hulking boar like creature that lives in herds. Both genders have intricate tusks and horns on head but males have much larger. The Ogurk in plains mainly just eat grass since its a plains and grass is abundant. Imagine diet changes to suit the environment.
Had been working on drawing of Ogurk in photoshop but wasn't coming out well.
