Second?
Damn. I did it wrong.
Have some characters in mind, young characters or age-regressing some traditionally adult characters.

As I write this characters I thinking about include: Ultragirl, Kate Bishop, Rogue, Nova (unsure which one) and/or possibly Miles Morales.
My first idea was turning Kate into a vigilante (think Arrow season 1). I would maybe introduce Cletus Kasady as well.
My second idea was possibly building a small group of mutants to become a version of the Brotherhood.
And, my third was bringing together a group of characters whom all have alien origins.

Because my work load usually begins to slowly increase this time of year I'm a little worried about my posting, so I was also thinking of basing my first character outside of New York, at least temporarily.

I was actually considering a few weeks ago on using Ultragirl as a character in another game, so that's interesting. Would want to read a tale about her.

The Miles Morales and Cletus Kasady bits, though, I would say would be dependent on whomever the Spider-Man player turns out to be, as they are legacy characters and rather important ones at that. Though, that's just my two-cents, keep in mind, I have no real authority on the matter. Though it does seem that, for Cletus Kasady, there are other characters that can be used without taking a central Spider-villain. Especially if you're just needing a prominent serial killer, as there are plenty of those throughout Marvel.

And if you're worried about activity, Nova might be a good route for that as, dealing with space-tales, you generally don't have to worry about holding others up if you are unable to post for awhile. And Nova is an interesting character to read, anyways.
Screw it, I'm interested. Thinking of running a college-aged Jessica Jones. Hm.

You're welcome, and I expect royalties for the idea.
And don't try to run away, you can't hide from me.
Alright, well, I'm waiting on Dedonus to reply to the latest PM, but depending on how he responds I'll be working on a potential sheet sooner than later.

EDIT: Of course I get the response as soon as I write this haha. My timing is impeccable. In that case, I will definitely be working on a potential sheet sooner than later. Let the Web Wars begin.
@Nexus Prime already way ahead of you. Hulks not gonna be on Earth for some time if I get him.

I saw that in the former ASM OOC, and I approve. Not that my approval is required. Color me interested.
Impartial judge? :P

I say we set up the gladiatorial pits of Sakaar. ;)
Speaking of my Spider-Throne (I might have to start calling my desk in my office that because its the biggest one in that room ), I've always been a fan of Gentlemen Agreements. They allow us not to waste our precious time writing character sheets that we might not use. No one likes seeing people butt hurt about their application not being picked (especially the GM). ;)

And what sort of Gentlemen's Agreement would you like to arrange for this?
Alright, so. I'm very tentatively looking at this with an open-mind. I keep telling myself I'm not going to do open-invite games anymore after all the years of disaster and dead-ends, and especially with the Hype-comic games ending as they always do, yet here I am, again. That being said, due to the other games I'm in being of a much slower pace, I'm open to giving ASM another shot - rebrand or not. I wasn't in the last rendition, for a variety of reasons, but the ASM games have had a place in my RPing history for quite a few years now, so my internal debate is leaning towards taking the dive.

I mean my CS's will be the best ones in the game...

Also, because @Gowi inadvertently, and foolishly challenged me with the above comment, my motivation for this is slightly higher. He clearly didn't think I'd return to a public game, silly man.

As for whom I may be interested in running, at the moment two come to mind, although I'm unsure on if @Dedonus wishes any challengers to his current Spider-throne. If so, I may be tempted to completely rework my Spidey from the ASM run before Dedonus took over, so as to match this world; and to cooperate with those who may wish to play certain gender-bent clones. I didn't get to do much with Spidey back then before that ASM failed, and I've still got my 80+ pages of base notes, plus additional full notebook of plot outlines from that time. Although, of course, they'd need to be adapted to a degree for this. Still, if Dedonus is up for a challenge...

Other than that, my only current interest would possibly be Mimic - Calvin Rankin. A heroic rendition, as I don't believe my years-old idea for a serial killer version fits with this world at all. Former X-Man, possibly. Potential Avenger, perhaps. Unsure.
I'll message you on here or Skype at some point with my thoughts. I'll probably wait until I read your newest post, which may be a couple days.
Took two months on my end, but I'm finally back in the game. Hopefully this post is at least slightly decent, but considering I had to start and stop it so many times between being busy, being sick and being blocked up mentally I'll be lucky if it's even coherent XD

With luck my next post should come much sooner and also wrap up the first little Orson arc so Danny doesn't have to share screentime with kung fu Indiana Jones and I can free up for more ideas for a little interquel that goes deeper into Danny and his life when an old man hasn't interrupted it for a mystical quest while also advancing his plot.

Glad to hear you're back into it. You went on your hiatus just as I had read your posts and was prepared to give you the feedback you had wanted haha. I'm sure I've forgotten most of the thoughts I originally had on them, but let me know if you're still looking for feedback.
