While the others were wrestling with the beast, Yuumei stood back. The monster was about to die, that- that was the good news. Good news. What was the bad news? Yuumei was almost about to pass out. That one burst of fire was strong enough to almost kill her. One. Just one. Where others have taken many hits, just one hit was enough to absolutely destroy her. The hit, and the amount of energy using the persona took in the first place. Great.
"I hate this..." She muttered under her breath, stumbling as she struggled to take a single step. She wanted to end the beast right there, but she wanted to survive as well. She chose survivingwhat a pussy and watched as the monster fell to pieces. The monster's heads fell off and dissolved into more of the tar. The monster was dead. They were done fighting it.
"What the f-" She tried to yell before her neck was wrapped in the vines. The grip became harder, harder, even harder until she couldn't take it anymore. She couldn't breathe, couldn't talk, couldn't even move at this point. This was it. This was death. There was no way she was going to survive this.
Then she saw blue. Blue flames. Blue flames.
Was it him? No- he was dead. He had died by the hands of the 3-headed Scooby Doo. But once Yuumei was on the ground again, good as new, she saw one flame body left. And then she saw the muscle punchy girl pick it up. And then, after that, she saw it jump out of her hands. It spoke. It was alive! Yuumei could've - could've - jumped and squealed in joy.
She was going to outstretch her hand towards the imp, but saw someone else - Nira, she thought her name was, do it already, She got her phone out before stopping to think. Was she really about to give her number to a group of strangers? A group of strangers that could've been the death of her at any point?
There's no other choice. She thought to herself. There was, but that choice would be very dangerous. She sighed, holding her phone up to sync with the others.
"Well I sure as hell know that sitting around here and doing nothing is dumb and stupid. If we're gonna do anything, we should help the blue dude. If someone else is trapped in the same predicament we were just in, it's also dumb and stupid that we don't help. And I'd be fucked up if I said I didn't care."
She was right. The blue guy did say that someone else was here, and she assumed that he didn't mean any of them. So she should help. And she was going to help, because if she didn't then she'd be even worse than when she went onto this train.
"So. Who's ready to go kick some more ass and save this fucktard that went and got himself trapped?"
"I am."
