Deep Ground Online (Hiatus)

I know how you get avatar feats and abilities, I've read those rules. I'm thinking of possible abilities though, and I know I want one that boosts his overal speed (both movement and attack), just not sure with how much. What else could fit him?

@Lucius Cypher Darn, I had my doubts already, but there are a few warrior feats that I really want because they fit his speed/agility style a lot. I guess I can use an abilty to up his speed/agilty a bit, but still...

I think red guild is good, it was my 3rd choice anyway.

EDIT: I've thought of an ability, just not sure if it is not too OP. Basicly what it does is that (starting from level 3) every 2nd level Kick Shot gains, he gets an additional feat, but from the warrior branch. The feat has to be equal or lower than the level the additional feat is aquired, so on level 3 he can only get a level 3 warrior feat, but on level 5 he can get a level 5, 4 or 3 warrior feat. Additionaly, he can choose to sacrafice a rogue feat and get a warrior feat of the same level or lower instead.

History: Charlie used to be a very lazy guy. That was until, on the age of 12, he agreed to meet up with a friend. He was late like usual so they met eachother halfway. There, when his friend crossed the road to get to him, a car came at his friend with a lot of speed. Charlie wanted to reach for his friend, but he was too late, and the car hit his friend. From that moment onward, he promised to never be late again.
Personality: He is kind and caring, but he always seems busy. Everything he does needs to happen fast, and to achieve this he wants to be fast himself. In his free time he trains himself to be fast in both body and mind, meaning he can easily outrun most people and also has an amazing reaction speed. He doesn't do competetive sports though, as they only 'slow him down'.

Avatar Abilities:

Lvl 1 - Gunboots: Kick Shot's primary weapons are gunboots, weapons unique to him that are both melee and short-range. A feature of these is that, as he keeps moving or attacking, his movement speed builds. This is reset when standing still.
Lvl 2 - Run and Hit: The more speed Kick Shot has, the more damage his next attack will do.
Lvl 3 - Need for Speed: Every chained attack will boost the attack speed of the next attack in the chain. This is reset when the chain stops.

Avatar Feats:

Lvl 3 - Vicious Strikes: Melee damage increased by 20%

Other: PANCAKES! ...Sorry, just felt like it.

My character so far. Any thoughts? I'm going for an agility based avatar. Not sure about the IRL guy's backstory or personality yet though. Also, since the RP is already pretty advanced, what are the differences at the moment between the blue and black guilds? Lastly, any ideas you guys have for an ability that fits him, please tell!

1. What was your first RP character?

I forgot his name (probably Sam Spark), but it was basicly some guy I made on the minecraft forums that was able to teleport from shadow to shadow (it was a supernatural/superpowered school RP). He was one of those guys with not much character and (because it was my first RP) I didn't do much right xD

2. Which of your characters was your favorite to play?

Almost all my characters are called Sam Spark (because I'm not creative with names :P) but one Sam Spark is my favourite: the Iron Assassin Sam Spark. Basicly, it was a 'children of the Avengers' type of RP so I made the son of Tony Stark, AKA Iron Man. Because of his training with several of the Avengers and his father's knowledge he made a light-weight white suit with a lot of features, for example cloaking, two big miniguns on his back, hidden crossbows, (like every assassin should have) hidden blades and it could all turn into a backpack. Thinking back to it though, it seems a bit OP xD

3. Which of your characters was the most successful/popular among other people in the group?

I think that would be this character, Charlie Flare. I didn't even start with him yet and people already like him. I hope I can play him right though, as I'm IRL pretty hard to get very angry and he's like tripwire all over the place.

4. Which of your characters was the biggest flop?

I guess it was another Sam Spark on the MC forums. I don't know what his character was exactly, but it was an orphanage RP and in one of my first posts I already metagamed xD Man I was so dumb back then, but I was a child so I blame puberty.

5. Which of your characters would be the victor in an ultimate battle between all your RP characters?

Probably another Sam Spark. In one RP where everyone with superpowers was detained, he was a 'special' case. He knew about 1 power (His shadow was alive and could move on its own as long as it was in range of it's owner and had enough light. The shadow could also reshape itself to have for example blades as arms, and by interacting with other persons shadows he could interact with their owners), and later figured out he had 2 more (shadow teleportation and being able to partially phase out). He is basicly indestructable because of this. I really am bad at making balanced characters xD.

6. Which was your favorite ship that a character of yours was involved in?

Remember Iron Assassin Sam? He had a short during relationship with someone else with a powersuit. Too bad the RP died short after, but maybe for the best as the relationship went a bit too fast. (unbalanced characters AND social awkerdness when finally getting a girl? Get your act together Nightmare xD)

7. What was the most diabolical thing a villainous character of yours did?

I never played a villainous character, as my characters always had some kind of conscience, but I sometimes play stuff that comes close to an antihero. For example, being a cutthroat in the night and leaving a shed full with blood just so the owners of the farm don't get extorted anymore. (It ain't good when their ain't blood, am I right?)

8. What was the most heroic thing a heroic character of yours did?

Basicly what I wrote at 7. Most of my characters don't last long and those who do are mostly antiheroes.

9. What was the craziest thing a character of yours did?

Fighting a bunch of soldiers while their shadow cuts them all down without them knowing what's happening. Let's just say I had a friend in that RP and the joke between us was that 'I was forged by the darkness, but she was born in it'.

10. What was your saddest RP moment?

Basicly every time I have to notify people I can't continue RP'ing because of IRL stuff. It happens a lot but that doesn't make it less likeable.

11. Which of your characters was the weirdest?

Probs Fortress. Big robot spin-off from Bastion, with a history of mass murder. His stereotype robotness made him a bit socially awkward at times xD

12. The funniest?

Most likely Fortress again. His socially awkwardness made for some fun laughs at times.

13. The scariest?

Fortress. Socially awkward and having a history of mass murder? You don't want him angry.

14. Which of your characters grew the most during the course of the RP?

Probs 'living shadow' Sam Spark. He started as a small kid not knowing what to do and then finally got out into the real world and became one of the deadliest soldiers in the resistance.

15. Which of your characters was the most like you?

I have no idea. I always like to keep some aspects of myself in a character. Maybe the orphanage one? He was the most human, socially awkward but at the same time smart one. (weird that the one most resembling myself is the worst character I ever made xD)

16. Least like you?

Again no clue, as all my characters have some aspects of myself (even Fortress the socially awkward mass murdering robot :P).

17. Which of your RP characters was the most challenging for you to play?

I did a 1x1 once where I played someone loved by all because of an unknown power. It's hard to play someone totally opposite of yourself xD

18. What fandom or genre do you RP with the most?

I like pokemon and sci-fi a lot, but I want them to be original. No total copies of the originals or boring 'doing the same thing over and over again' stuff.

19. How many RP's have you GM'd, and which was your favorite?

I tried GM'ing a RWBY RP which died fast, and a SAO RP. The RWBY one I liked more, but I spend more time in the SAO one. Too bad none of them ended well... :'(

20. Have you ever played a canon character in RP, and if so, what was your favorite experience?

Not really. I planned doing Mercury Black once in a 1x1 but that never launched.

21. What character type/trope do you enjoy using the most in RP?

Not sure. I'm used to playing a loner but thats so... lonely always so I don't really know.

22. Most memorable RP kill?

Don't know, I mostly don't play RP's where I kill other RP'rs or vice versa.

24. What is your biggest RP regret?

Not being able to spend more time in RP'ing.

25. What is your proudest moment of RP?

Doing my first 1x1 RP, as I was always cautious of that part of the guild, but now I like it.

26. Why do you like RP?

The community. You always have some rotten apples, but most of it is fun to RP and talk with. Besides, with me being partially socially awkward IRL this is good training for me :P
