I just wanted to apologize. I'm not coming back, but I want to acknowledge that I was a little harsh. I should have tried to communicate better and I should have left before I got stressed and angry. I'm sorry.
I found a different website to RP on. I know it isn't my place to say this, but if you want to do a dedicated co-writing project, don't advertise it as a roleplay. I'll delete my characters when I have time and I reserve the right to modify them to fit into a different story of my own someday if I ever want to write a warriors fanfiction.
Sorry it didn't work out.
No, I do read them.

And what? I swear Myke said ok or sure or something to that effect for Snowstep, and I got no response about Irispaw. I asked permission for both since I knew they each had a less believable backstory. I have made a point of having all of the other characters I've made have backstories involving ONLY CHARACTERS I CREATED. I have carefully avoided looping in unmade characters or other people's characters. Read any of them. If it involves someone else, I asked permission and got it.
But the characters that are going to cause trouble for other characters are all mine. I guess I'm asking if this is more like a book because in my experience it's very hard to get a roleplay to follow any paced plot without railroading. And with more complicated histories that might apply to other people's characters, like Snowstep, I did ask permission.

I think everyone (myself included) is thinking we're saying things that aren't being received on the other end. I'm not trying to be contentious, it just feels completely ridiculous, which, as I said, is probably a communication issue.
There's no delete button.
(I have collected myself somewhat)
I have a few questions, actually, since I'm not certain we have the same definition of roleplay.

Firstly, who's in charge? You and Bluregard seem to be waiting on Myke but answering for her and it's really confusing.

Secondly, and I don't mean to come across as confrontational, but I feel like everyone takes issue with me and I can't quite figure out why. As in, you're very quick to shut me down and you jump to negative conclusions before trying to understand what I'm saying. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but if I am could you please just point it out and help me understand how to be more productive and cooperative instead of cutting me down?

I also don't understand, and this may go back to us having different definitions of roleplay, why do we need a complex plot? Why do we have to wait for months? Isn't this just a game? Why can't we focus on having fun? And in that vein, now that we have a plot, why can't we start? Also, while it's fine if my idea wouldn't work, I didn't appreciate having two people shout "NO" without any explanation. It came across as aggressive and I felt singled out.

Please consider my questions. I don't mean to be agressive. I am getting very frustrated with the continuous lack of explanations and aggressive responses. While I really enjoy roleplaying and devote a lot of time and attention to them, at the end of the day it's just a game and I don't think it's worth fighting or demeaning people over. I just want to understand.

Thanks,
Dawn
And anyway, I've had everything there sitting in a different page for a while now. What's the hold-up? (if that came across as rude, sorry, I'm still in shouting-at-the-principal-for-doing-literally-nothing-about-bullying-and-harassment mode, my brain isn't worried about being polite.)
I assumed that having a plot meant we were starting.

Ok, great! And why such a strong reaction?
