"Ya have to keep on your guard, Ralph." Connor replied, glancing over at his shoulder. The dragon was fading off into the skyline, with new battle scars from Connor's punch. "Anything could look friendly, flying up to us with a big smile on it's face, only to decide it wants to gut you or electrocute you or drown you. You have to be careful with who you trust out here. People are desperate, and they'll feign friendship at any cost for a chance of some supplies."

"Hrmph? Oh, you're sentient." Connor said, regarding the fox with a sense of unease. The small, horned vulpine seemed to have reappeared almost immediately after he said that, which didn't seem to bode well. "Eh.. sure, we need more people." Connor said, looking the fox up and down. It seemed relatively strong, with it's contrasting powers of ice and fire. Maybe it could hold it's own against a couple of weaker things. Maybe a dragon.

"A mining area, huh?" Connor asked, looking it up and over. A rickety mine cart track lead straight into the cavern. The entrance was wide and tall, and he could easily shuffle his way in if he bended his knees and held his head down low. Connor poked his head through to give the cave a good look-over, glancing through the darkened cave. Stalactites hung from the wall in spiraling rock formations, and small creatures huddled together in darker corners, who ran at the sight of the golem.

Connor pulled his head back through to the open forest. "Not many things in there, beside the occasional little thing that I could stomp on." Connor said, shrugging. "No real problem, so we should be able to clear it out real quick. We could probably furnish it up, and as long as there aren't too many tremors, it should hold steady. Once we get support pillars up, and maybe some other safety materials, it should be safe enough for anyone to stay in."
"Ah, 'morning Anthony." Hex said, staring over at Anthony. He seemed especially viscous today, lacking his usually, congealed white slime. Hex noticed the tiles and the walls of the hotel once again. They seemed to be.. different, from yesterday. Before, they shined like pearls, with a beautiful golden luster. Now they seemed more drab and dry, and more like a simple hotel. It must've been an effect of her insatiable fatigue, or the darkness. Maybe she was losing it. Whatever.

Hex greeted Terra g'morning upon her short arrival, and she appeared to be toting around a small pokemon peeking his head out of her bag. She couldn't quite make out what pokemon it was, however. Looked small, but she couldn't quite see the head shape of it, or if it even did have a head. Hex ignored it, and began to follow Terra out of the hotel, alongside Anthony and Josh and Matt. Those two seemed particularly quiet, surprisingly. Usually the always had some short comments.

Eventually, they arrived at Amanda's Threads, which was a short hop away from them. Pokemon clustered around the shop like it was an oasis in a drought. They seemed to be lining up in order to get the best clothes or best stat-inducing items. Clearly something must've bolstered up their business by a massive amount, because usually pokemon didn't just randomly decide to start going to a store. Might've been the fact some explorers bought some clothes from there.

At Terra's command, the pokemon parted immediately, surprisingly. Most of the other dragon types were major beasts, with tough scales and shining, sharp teeth. They easily outnumbered Terra, and could eat her rather easily, if they were wild. Terra walked through them easily, and some even regarded her with fear. One poor Dragonite who's tail accidentally stood in Terra's path seemed to pass out, flopping down onto the ground after pulling his tail outta the way.
Alrighty, edited.

Also, the Jeopardy waiting music might be good for the waiting on KaBling song.
"Mine cart track?" Connor asked, thinking about it. A mine cart track would certainly work. It would be large enough to house a golem of his size, or lower, and the already in-set track would allow for more ease of transportation. There may even be a inset lighting system, if they were lucky, which would quickly clear up the light problem. "A mine cart track would work for our needs. Let's go ahead and find it, quick, though. I don't wanna be out in the open when it gets dark. We're going to be eaten or killed out in the dark."

A brief, blue light appeared for a moment, gently glowing among the pine trees. It made quite the light, seemingly shining above the heavy shadows of the tall trees. Connor dismissed it. Possibly one of the smaller monsters fighting each other. That seemed to be happening quite a bit. While the forest wasn't heavily populated, it still had a fair amount of creatures that could still do damage if they weren't checked to that they were docile. Connor spotted a dragon flying around in the distance, and hoped that it didn't do much damage to them.

A crack echoed throughout the air, ending the silence and occasional scream of the pine forest. Connor paused, and briefly turned around. Ralph was still flying right around him, and Tony lay on his shoulders. A small, ebony fox stood to the side of him, staring right up at the group. It had rounded, ram's horns, and it occasionally emitted a puff of icy breath alongside with twin growing icicles on it's horns. "Just one of those little things." Connor muttered, returning his attention to walking ahead. "Just keep going, it won't be a problem." He swung the pine tree around, and noticed the dragon seemed to be flying close. He stopped for a moment.

The dragon flew right by him, and his arm swung upward, almost knocking the dragon out of the airspace. His stone fist seemed to do a quite a bit of damage to the side of it's face, knocking off some scales. The dragon veered off, into another direction, snarling and snorting from the force of the blow. It regarded Connor with a sense of hatred and a couple of carefully-picked words before flying off. "Force of habit. Sorry." Connor shrugged, rubbing his fist against his stone chest. "Gotta be careful."
Hex eye's slowly opened, accustoming themselves to the new morning light. It flooded into the room, revealing more details of the heavily luxurious room. The bed was a comfortable and warm, and she felt like she could sink into the sheets at any time and suffocate, they were so deep. A feeling of warmness gushed out around her, and she slowly fluttered into the air, shrugging off the blanket. This is better than home life, Hex realized. I should do this more often.

"Hm? Oh!" Hex, noticing a pastry on her bed, almost immediately tried to wolf it down. Usually she didn't get much better than honey or berry jam. She had seen something like this before. It occasionally came in as a rare treat, from her mother. Usually, she never got to eat it, but it always smelled delicious and her mother always seemed to savor it. She bit straight into it, flying right above it, and tried to chew on the thin wheat crust.

Hex finally got a good grip on it with her mouth, only to find she couldn't really bite into it, considering she didn't really have teeth. She went through various stages of gripping it with her mouth, trying to get possibly one sharp end of her mouth into the pastry, only to soon find out she couldn't really do anything about it. Hex eventually, frustrated, gusted the pastry in her bag to save it for later, or maybe crush it up to slurp.

Hex eventually tried to set up a bath for herself, only to realize she had no hands, and couldn't push the faucet. A couple of strong gusts later, and only getting a slight drip out of the faucet, she decided to head out and pack up her stuff. Hex slung the bag over her body and fluttered outside, gusting the door open with a strong one. She saw Joshua and Matt in the lobby, waiting, so she just decided to wait for Anthony, who was probably enjoying absorbing the pastry into his body.
"Hiya, I'm with Terra and the rest of her group." Hex said, following up after the rest of the team had gotten their keys, glancing at them as they slimed or floated up the stairs. "Of course you are." The Grovyle replied, a wide grin on it's face, placing a key inscribed with 253 on it. She stared at it awkwardly for a second, reflecting on the fact that she had no hands, before the Grovyle decided to just throw it into her bag over the counter. She thanked them and began her ascent upstairs.

The first floor was a complete mess. Mold grew on the corners of the walls, and actually covered some of the doorways. Tiles were unhinged and some were flown across the room, and dirt spattered the unruly floor in various patterns of pokemon footprints and the like. Hex had never seen something so completely messy and disgusting, and the smell was absolutely awful. As if someone had recently dumped a dead body in there. She gagged before quickly fluttering to the next floor.

The next floor was not at all as bad as the first. It still retained plenty of dirt smeared across the the floor and the lower parts to the wall. Some fresh vegetation flourished in the corners and cracks in the ceiling, some low hanging vines even reaching out to touch any passerby who had the misfortune to come on by. Several pokemon stood around, mostly fire types who lazily blew puffs of smoke from their mouths, along with some slight floating embers. Hex coughed as she flew up to the next.

The next was completely different from the first and the second. The walls appeared to be made out of pure gold, and the tiles seemed just like it. Must've taken at least a hundred Persians paydaying to produce this much gold. Hex thought to herself, staring around at the luxurious halls. She awkwardly fumbled with the key for a second, working hard to try to shove it into the key lock, until she eventually settled on just biting it and opening up the door.

Almost immediately, Hex collapsed into a bed, feeling the wears and tears of the day in the city sliding off of her. Eventually she began to fade into a deep sleep, her bag lying perpendicular to her.
"A cave?" Connor began thinking it over. On one hand, it would be relatively close to the city, allowing them to easily gather supplies close to the city. It would also be sufficient in holding a large amount of people, with the massive space and room for more than plenty of creatures. It might also support his bulky frame, which would honestly be a first since about a day or more ago. He could easily comb through the city at any time he really needed.

"Sounds good enough." He grunted, looking between them. He had a strict list of priorities right now. First of all, he would have to find the one responsible for him in the city. Connor's hands tightened into fists at the mere thought of this. Smashing his ugly face in would be his first thought. Next, though, he'd immediately have to start heading far, far out north once this whole "save the world!" deal was done. He would have to find something he'd misplaced. "We'll have to find a good, relatively hidden one though."

Connor plucked a tree from the ground as easily as a farmer reaping the crops from his field. "It'll be relatively easy to gather the materials; as long as we can still gather them from the city." Connor swung the pine like a baseball bat, causing each of the tiny evergreen needles to slide off their branches. "We're going to need some support pillars, but we shouldn't completely make it out of wood, or it's going to burn down prettyyy quickly."

Eventually, the pine tree had turned into a long wooden log. Several branches jutted out of it. "Already have one ready. But most of the other materials? Those we're going to have to take from the city." Connor began walking off into the general direction of the city, swinging the wooden pillar around as he walked. "It might take a while to find the perfect cave for our needs. The area has to also be sparsly populated; a densely populated one would increase our chances of being found."

On the way through the forest, he found a fair couple of caves already, and he had just barely made it to the city. Most, however, were only mere smidgeons of holes in a little hill or something of the like. For most, he could probably only fit most of his leg into, or sometimes about half of an arm. They really would need a big one for him, he realized, or he could just sleep out in the open, which would definitely not be the safest choice for someone of his stature.
This well is pretty damp. Don't know if I'm going to get a good reception in here, but I'll try.
Hey, why is everyone in the well? Is there a party going on down there?

WITHOUT ME?!

*jumps into well*
Hex watched as the Clawitzer disappeared on the distance, his Rapidash rearing to go as Zane was pulled away. Hex was a bit surprised as to how a Clawitzer somehow got hold of so many potent resources, such as a chariot, or a tank, or even the Rapidash necessary to pull the charity along. It must have had a lot of money to it's avail if it was able to afford all those necessities along with followers to help him get his way. Hex could see why Josh might be afraid of him.

Hex watched as Josh was pulled out of the nearby wooden crate by Matt, and placed back in his bucket. Josh told Matt that apparently, if they were hiding out there, he was going to kill him. "So, next plan of action?" Hex asked Josh, Matt, and Anthony. "Go to Mt. Dragoncoil or take care of him? Because right now, Zane seems to be a really bad problem. But we made a commitment to Terra and her dad to completely their mission first, so.. this is all you, Josh, because you know him."

In a sparsely populated area of Birchwood Forest, a large, golden, gooey hive stood solemnly, hanging under a massive tree. Combee fluttered in and out, holding large globs of honey. Inside, a large Beedrill stood, accompanied by a slightly smaller Beedrill. "My queen." The Beedrill said, a slight hint of both nervousness and excitement in it's buzzing voice. It lay kneeling, it's drills held to it's sides. "We may have some excellent news about your daughter."

"What?!" The queen demanded, staring down. She did not have much light shining on her, and appeared to be more of a large menacing shadow, as cliche as it was. "Speak now, Marcus, or I will have you executed." The Beedrill's wings quavered slightly in nervous. "W-well, my queen, we know she sleeps in the Allure Town guild now. Several scouts caught sight of her there, accompanied by a Goomy, Skrelp, and Reuniclus."

"Very well then." The queen said. "We will simply post guards there. Upon seeing her, you will capture her assailants and bring her home." The Vespiquen stared down at the Beedrill, it's golden eyes wide and glaring at the two. "If you cannot complete such a simple task, then I'm afraid you can't work here anymore. You simply have failed too much, and for the captain of our guard squad, that will simply not do."

The Beedrill backed away, keeping it's head bowed low. "Y-yes, m'queen." He turned his head back, and buzzed very loudly. "ALL TO ALLURE TOWN!" He called out, his voice echoing down the halls."
