If we're getting partners, what happens if we end up with an odd number of players?
I was wondering the same, actually.
Not to sound impatient or anything, but I have to ask. When are we going to start? The CS stuff has all been taken care of from what I can see, and I remember one of the gms saying we'd start several days ago XD. The more I read the other CSes the more I want to interact with their characters. I can tell this is gonna be a blast. #AllOfMyHype :D
I'd be down with starting with who we have, but a few more players could help it along a bit more, like Rusalka said it's up to you.
Full Name: Sylus Moriam Nickname(s): Sy Gender: Male Age: 16 human years, 200 elven years Year: 2 Birthday: September 2nd Astrological Sign: Virgo Species: Elf Class: Ranger Weapon: A bow and enchanted arrows that serve a myriad of purposes. These are as follows: fire (erupts in flames on contact with something) lightning (Pulsing electricity, shocks living targets and is obviously also useful for damaging Earth technology) leech (drains magical energy from target at a steady rate, causing target to weaken and makes it much harder to cast spells. When the Black Gale appeared, Sylus's father, a well-known and accomplished adventurer, became a gatekeeper, only to vanish about 3 years ago. Sylus believes that becoming a gatekeeper himself would be the only way to find out what happened to him, so it was a no-brainer for him to accept entrance into the academy. His mother warned against him going, as she didn't want to lose her son as well, but Sylus sees no other acceptable future for himself. Personality: Sylus is rather shy around unfamiliar people, especially in large crowds. He slowly becomes more comfortable around people as he gets to know them, and once he has made a few friends he is quite friendly, optimistic and outgoing around them.He has a serious attitude when it comes to his studies, as he wants nothing more then to follow in his father's footsteps, and hopefully find him. He is also very fond of nature and spends as much time among plants and animals as he can, preferring to study, eat lunch and such around school grounds rather than indoors. Partner: (TBA) Fear(s)/Weakness(es)/Limit(s): Sylus frequently has night terrors, and as such he sometimes avoids sleeping and has a habit of sneaking out of his dorm at night. He will often go out of his way to help people he cares about, often times endangering or exhausting himself in the process. Using his healing magic drains his mental strength and can be quite detrimental to his health. As archery is his only combat skill, if caught in close-quarters combat he will be at a disadvantage. Skills/Abilities/Traits: Moderately skilled Archer. Knows basic enchantment which he uses to create magical arrows for different purposes, also dabbles in alchemy and can create various poisons to coat arrows with. He is studying druidic magic, which is magic derived from life and nature, and used for the benefit of it. he can communicate with animals fluently as if they could speak, and has a natural gift for befriending them. He can sense energies within living beings if he concentrates, such as magic energy, and life force. This allows him to sense beings that would otherwise be hidden to him, and tell how much life force a being has (how close to death they are essentially). He has learned how to channel his life force into other beings in order to heal their wounds or cure their ailments, however doing so is, for obvious reasons, extremely physically demanding. The energy required to heal another is proportionate to the severity of the wound or ailment. The more energy he uses to heal others, the more he risks passing out, becoming ill or worse. Other: He has formed a strong bond with a bird he named Feena, who lives in a tree on Academy grounds and that he visits every day. He can play the lute, and enjoys doing so as a hobby.

Noster, what is your system for the leech arrows? Also, your character's bio states that his father was a gatekeeper that disappeared when Sylus was much younger. Maybe I'm just arguing with wording here, but if your character is a 200 year old Elf, and the Black Gale has only been around for 20 years, the Gatekeepers only being around for around 14 or so years, so how young would Sylus have been?
NW, I do not understand what you mean by "system" for leech arrows. I edited his bio and it probably fits much better into the setting now, saying his father became a gatekeeper when the Gale appeared and that he vanished about 3 years ago. Man, I'm such a noob XD
I am definitely interested. I have several TES characters I could translate through time and space into this setting lol, from Oblivion and Morrowind as well as Skyrim. I love rping within the games themselves, so this is right up my alley! :D

What's the system for your magic draining arrows? Specify what kind of magical arrows he has. I don't like "etc." when listing off equipment. How can someone physically weak be an archer? Competent long-range archery takes a lot of strength. No such thing as different types of magical energy, as mentioned previously
changed/ added to cs, hopefully addressing your points adequately. Described all of his magic arrow types, removed the physically weak part cuz ya that don't make no sense XD, idk what I was thinking. Sorry, my newness is probably showing a lot XD
If you have room for one more I'd love to get in on this. i can make a cs as soon as I'm given the okay, I've got lots of ideas floating around for this.
