It would be Barry. At this point there have been no Kid Flashes unless somebody makes one. So no Wally.

Two Robins is never a problem. Nor is one Superman-esque character, and one Wonder Woman-esque character. Rufus's lack of Speed Force connection makes him unique enough to offer interesting opportunities, without redundancies.

However, if it would put you at ease, I could make Flash his sponsor, Flash sponsoring him, much to his own dismay. I was gonna change my choice of sponsor, anyway, as I don't think Black Lightning is the right fit.

That's currently my only concern with the CS as is. He goes from knowing the Question, to meeting Black Lightning, then getting a suit from Jay Garrick. It would make things less convoluted if Flash was his sponsor and he got the suit from Flash.

And I gotta disagree about the doubling up of character archetypes. One of my main issues with the YJ animated series was how they introduced a new Robin but then also a more seasoned Batgirl on the team. And the current JL comics irritate me because they have two Green Lanterns on the team now just to help further promote two characters the universe really didn't need [even for diversity's sake, cause the GL's are already diverse]. In past games I've had more than one vigilante character on the team [I think it began as 3 or 4 actually] and it was a mess, as well as more than one tank. If it was more of a case like the original YJ comics when the Ray joined and his superspeed was played up despite Impulse already being on the team it wouldn't be a problem. They both had speed but the Ray could fly, project energy constructs, absorb energy, become energy, etc.

There's room for power overlap here and there, but I'd never put Kid Flash and Impulse on the same team, or Robin and Batgirl. Unless of course it was a Flash Family RP or a Bat Family RP LOL

IDK about a team with two speedsters though. The only other type of recruit I could see coming from the Flash would be something like your Kid Rogue in game's past.

I'm gonna go ahead and start going over completed CS's again with Sample Posts. If there's any problems with the CS or Sample Post you'll get a PM from me. Thank you all for your interest in the RP, it's my hope to make the best ten person group possible. Nobody's playing favorites, and everyone will be treated equally no matter the number of posts you currently have or how long you have been active on the forums. I just want a good reliable cast of players who're gonna make this Young Justice RP as memorable as the first [that was really a three game series].

I'm getting my Sample Post finished as well. I'll check back in with everyone in a bit!

With a lot of the interested parties being new to the site I'm going to ask that a Sample Post be added to the end of each CS.

Everybody's gonna have to write something including myself. This is just to make sure everyone is up to par. I don't shoot for perfection and make errors myself on occasion, but a couple paragraphs and some dialogue minimum for each post in-game as well as the sample post. I don't want a response post to another players' post consisting of a three sentence paragraph with a long run on sentence somewhere and a single line of dialogue in response. I'll make note of this addition to the CS requirements in the opening post. I'd also like to put this out there...

Until Character Sheets are finished down to the Sample Posts, and approved, you can apply with any sponsor you've got your heart set on except for the one I'm using [Superman]. Just because somebody calls dibs and posts a CS first doesn't mean I'm jumping the gun and accepting everything as is. If two people wanna apply as a Kid Flash, then have at it and I'll see which is the better CS. Until it's approved, all the sponsors are still on the table. Don't settle for another sponsor because of somebody else's sheet unless it's been approved.
