You JUST scrolled down!
Hello out there! My name's Mason. I like a lot of random stuff like comics, Masters of the Universe, M*A*S*H, X-Files, conspiracy theories, as well as a good superhero themed role play! I'm more of a DC freak than a Marvel zombie but I did grow up on mutants and 3rd string heroes. Once in awhile I'll make a few micros in MSPaint for my RP's because I love designing heroes as much as I do writing/reading about them. I'm about to try and get another Amalgam Universe themed game off the ground, if you're interested gimme a shout!

I've been RP'ing for awhile. I mostly RP to keep my writing skills up to par, and I generally RP between Casual and Advanced. I've been a member of the guild for quite a bit, pre Guildfall even. Ninety percent of the time you'll find me in some superhero themed RP or something based off of another fandom like MotU or Power Rangers. Currently in the process of developing my own comics!
Favorite DC heroes (I won't go into villains to save space) in no order: Aquaman, Hawkman, Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner), Superboy (the clone), Swamp Thing, Starman, Animal Man, the Ray (90's era), Impulse, Captain Atom, and Batman Beyond.
Favorite Marvel heroes list: Human Torch I & II, Capt. Mar-Vell, Black Bolt, the classic Destroyer, Havok, Multiple Man, classic Scarlet Spider, Spiderman 2099, Nova, and Colossus.
OTHER FAVORITES: Space Ghost, Haunt, the Maxx, Shadowhawk, Green Hornet, Madman, Doctor Star/Andromeda, the Phantom, He-Man, and Zorro.

Right around my high school days between 99-03 I began posting on the dccomics.com message boards that no longer exist. From there I went to the geoffjohns.com forums that were for his work and a host of other writers [I think it's actually comicblok.com now] that had a fan works section. FanFic was not allowed [because of the pro writers affiliated with the forums], but for some reason fanfic in the context of an RPG was fine. My first RP was the Justice Society RPG #3 during a time when Geoff Johns was killing it on JSA for his first major run. I played in another RP or two on that site with the same JSA theme and GM'ed at least one until starting some forums with a guy who I only remember as 'Steve' called the Krypton Protocols. I ran like my second or third roleplay ever [a Justice League RP] on those forums with posters from the DC comics boards and the Johns forums that was around 15 or 16 players.
True story, the guy that played the Flash and the girl who played Jade got together and met in person. Had a Star Wars themed wedding and a baby.
After the shine wore off of those forums and Steve broke contact [or maybe it was me, I had a few different AOL accounts at the time] I migrated to thegreenlanterncorps.com forums where I ran a handful of Green Lantern RPG's. At some point I followed a troll over here and I liked the scenery so I stuck around. I was maybe in 6 or 7 forum based RP's before coming here.
In my youth I was all about the Final Fantasy Super Nintendo RPGs, Mario RPG, and playing D&D with my older nephew.

Whatever classes you'd normally have at a high school. The superhero training will be after hours in the sub levels of the mansion. The recruits are in town with the Educational Outreach program, so the kids have to attend school regularly to keep the ruse going.

@Roman Had time before I left to go over it. Looks good. They'd be seniors at the high school and most likely share a room. Accepted. Take note of the 'normals' living in the mansion. First training session in the War Room will be after school with tag team partners. Perfect for Lock and Load.

The next morning…
Late August in the year 2020 didn’t seem too bad. It was already a tad windy outside, the weather was nice. It was the group’s first day at the Midway high school named after somebody named Kubert. Only Julien and the kid named Harrison Wells were going to the Midway Technical Community College. Nightwing and Zatanna both had quarters below the mansion and the two of them did paper/rock/scissors to see who had to drop the kids off. Zatanna threw rock, Nightwing threw paper. Z sighed and a few moments later was upstairs and waking the kids up. A quick backwards speaking spell and all of their alarms went off and Z spoke over the intercoms in their quarters.
The smell of breakfast in the kitchen at 7:15 after a quick shower was the only reason Wayde needed to get up in the morning. He made his way down stairs where a few others had already managed to beat him to the copious amounts of food. Grayson came up in pajamas to grab a couple waffles himself.
“There’s a few backpacks with some supplies already in them if any of you forgot to bring anything. If you guys need anything else you let us know. Julien, Harrison… get the list of books and whatever else you’ll need as far as computer programs and such and we’ll get you boys taken care of too.” He addressed the group as he ate a waffle folded in his hand without syrup. “Wayde since you already finished school early, you’ll be helping me set up things here like the computer area in the study and the entertainments center in the den/lounge area.”
“You mentioned employment and a maintenance gig yesterday, if that’s still on the table then I’m game…” Wayde replied as he caught a look from Greta, who was obviously into the man-bun.
“I’ll be done with college soon as well, Mr. Grayson. Will I be employed by the Wayne Foundation Educational Outreach program as well?” Harrison asked sort of looking in envy at Wayde as more of the students showed up to grab breakfast.
“I’ll see what I can do for you, Harrison. Z, you need anything before you guys take off in the van?” Grayson asked.
“Yeah… wipe that smile off your face, Dick.” She said grabbing her purse and heading for the door with a Coast City Comets hoodie on. “Next stop, Kubert High School…”
Minutes later, everyone but Julien and Harrison exited the van/shuttle bus. The statue of a man near the entrance of the high school had the words “Home of the Hawks” printed on it.
“I’ll be back at 3:15 to pick everyone up. Don’t be late.” Z addressed the group before driving off with the last two.

Also, @Demon Shinobi and @Divine Darkness I was thinking, especially if we get Spidergirl to join... what do you guys think about calling ourselves the Amazings? Loosely based on Spiderman and His Amazing Friends? Potential line-up is Spidergirl, Darkhawk, Scarlet Witch, Inhuman Torch, and the Thing. That's not a bad team at all.
