Cursed blessing (Cursed)-An outfit. A black leotard, with golden metal decorations from knee to chest over pantyhose. Includes arm and leg decorations. This outfit takes both clothing spots top and bottom. It cannot be removed, but can be customized (only magical, no physical changes) it does have the positive effect of doubling both physical and magical defense, however the cost is a 50% increased susceptibility to all negative status effects. (Poison, sleep, pretrification, slow, etc.)

The Accursed Mentor (cursed)- A simple black headband. Takes the place of an accessory. A teacher had a student that hated how long it took to learn new things, after the student complained one time to many, the teacher made this lovely piece of work. It cannot be removed, but can be customized. (Only magical, no physical changes) it basically doubles the amount of experience earned for skills, at the cost of cutting HP, MP, and Stamina by 25%

A lady's heels- A pair of fashionable heels! Can be customized both physical and magical.

Black scarf- A fashion item that's all the rage these days. Get yours while supplies last ladies! Can be customized both physical and magical.

Black Scythe- A simple blavk war scythe. Can be customized both physically and magically.

Headhunter-Finishing scythe move, costs entirety of MP and Stamina, instant kills enemies with decapitation if they are 15% or less health, common chance of failure doing critical damage instead. Rank C. (Rank B cost 75% MP and Stamina, and 20% or less health. Common chance of failure doing critical damage instead.)

Sweep- AoE attack deals damage to all enemies within the swing's reach. Reach of attack is equal to length of weapon used. Rank C.

Pyromancy- Allows player to cast magic using fire as the base element. Rank D.

Blacksmithing- Allows user to create weapons, armor, customize items, etc. Rank C

Cryomancy-Allows user to cast spells using ice as the base element Rank F.

Enchanter-Allows character to imbue magical properties, effects, statuses, etc. To equipment. Requires components relating to effect desired, plus some MP (depends on effect and strength, plus Rank in skill) (Hidden skill, prerequisites Magic (general) Rank A, blacksmithing rank C) (This is how I learn about hidden skills IG) Currently unranked, (will gain Rank F by second or third post in IC)

Personality: Emily is a somewhat shy, and socially awkward girl. However she's cheerful, and friendly if given a chance to get to know you. She's fairly laid back, except in high stress situations, at which point she can ramble a bit, stumble, have difficulty meeting anyone's eye's. She also has low self esteem issues. Not horrendous, but they're present. While stuck in the game world, she comes out of her shell a little more, isn't as shy. However, she will have bouts of depression and anger due to her situation. For the most part though, she's kept her head high and her upper lip stiff, this situation has given her a chance to prove herself, to herself.

History: Emily has been playing RPGs for several years now, however she wasn't ever really interested in playing a MMORPG, but her brother was off at college, she was bored, and so she decided to check out an MMORPG. Googling up MMORPGs, brought a list up, clicking on one of the links brought her to a home screen talking about a massive patch that was going to be added to the game, offering more skills, and a whole new land to explore. Excited about finding it, she clicked register, which populated both the register screen and the log in screens. The username and password were filled out, saved to the computer's memory. 'What luck' she though...erroneously. She played for several days prior to the patch going live, unsure if she wanted to make her own account. She decided that she'd check it out after the patch and if it was any good, then she'd make her own account. Excited she finished for the day, not returning until the day the patch came out. She went to play, pulling up the site, and loading it up, but then she got the shock of her life. She was stuck in the game. Thus started her adventures in figuring out what the hell happened, and how to get home. In the meantime, She'll work on collecting some of these skills, because that's what got her into this mess, and she might as well do it.

Pets?: Lady Lenore, type: "Witch's Familiar" Sub-type: Black Cat. (The cat in the Avatar picture.) Lady Lenore increases magical power by 50% within any magical subset skill so long as skill level is greater than C-ranked. (If Character reaches EX rank in specific magic branch it is increased to 75%) raises magic defense, and while out can absorb three low level magic attacks per day. (So basically a simple magic attack. And it's per day, not per battle.) Can harvest magic component cat's hair from the familiar. Has no attack capabilities.

The End is Near: Zombie Apocalypse

Yeah, cause while Skye could deal with some light things, herbs are a spotty source for health shit.

Let's avoid killing the only person who has real medic skills. My character is great for the role of nurse's assistant, but not for full time medic duties.

@LostDestiny Hey, your character should totally take my character under wing and teach him to be a medic too. Two of them would be better than one, and there's some stuff he could teach her too. Homeopathic remedies will make a bit of the brunt of our healing efforts.

I think I've enough time on my hands to play two characters. This guy is a little different from Gripus, in that he's a savage, evil gnoll.

Don't know if I'll use him yet, but perhaps he and Tsabal would make wonderful companions in the short term?

Race Overview: Gnolls are hyena-headed, evil humanoids that wander in loose tribes. Most gnolls have dirty yellow or reddish-brown fur. A gnoll is a nocturnal carnivore, preferring intelligent creatures for food because they scream more. A gnoll is about 7½ feet tall and weighs 300 pounds.

Titles: Kin-Slayer

Appearance: Rikaw stands at seven and a half feet - the average size for his kinsmen - and has a thick, red furry coat. His face is covered in a thick white warpaint, allowing his yellow teeth and blackened gums to stand out in clear contrast. Rikaw's eyes are as black as the night, and match the shade of his scarred snout. The Gnoll is rather muscular, with a top-heavy torso, which is standard for his kind, though he lacks a tail - a scarred patch of flesh is all that remains.

Rikaw wears hardened leather armor, mixing hardiness with agility, allowing him to put his halberd to effective use whilst warding off moderate attacks.

Weapons:

• Goremane's Halberd - This weapon belonged to Rikaw's father, who he slew in combat. In appearance it is but a simple weapon, with a wooden staff and an iron axe-head. However, it is imbued with a nasty kind of mage: wounds that it inflicts will refuse to close, unless treated by skilled physicians versed in magic.
• Widow Maker - A siege crossbow, of robust design, that can fire explosive bolts. The weapon is heavy, and reloaded by a ratchet mechanism. Rikaw has attached a silver bayonet to the weapon's front, as he's aware that he'll likely need to shove it in a Wraith's face at some point in his adventures. The explosive bolts are volatile, and though he can make them from gunpowder at ease, he will only carry three at any one time - to reduce the likelihood of a mass-accidental explosion.

Steed: Rikaw has a particular distrust of horses, and relies on his own two feet and Hyena stamina to carry him through the world.

Abilities:

• The Mark of Goremane - Rikaw bears the mark of the Goremane clan, a crudely shaped three fingered paw the colour of blood, scored across his abdomen. By beating his stomach in a mad fury, it amplifies his physical strength to super-human (or super-gnoll) proportions. The faster he beats it, the stronger he grows. However, using the Mark of Goremane places heavy strain on his heart, and so he can not beat it indefinitely. The Mark of Goremane wears off within minutes of use, after which the Gnoll becomes heavily fatigued and must rest.

Talents:

• Seasoned Veteran - Rikaw is a warrior of renown, in his native lands. His skill as a fighter has come from years of being baptised in the fire of tribal warfare; every scar he bears is a lesson learned, and every burial mound he leaves behind stands as testimony to his dexterity and speed in combat.
• Siege Engineer - Rikaw knows his way around siege engines, and more specifically, gunpowder based weapons. With such knowledge, he was able to craft Widow Maker, and the explosive bolts that it fires. However, if you gave him a tree and some horse hair, he could have a solid attempt at rigging you up a one-shot catapult.
• Hunter - Like most of his kin, Rikaw is used to hunting down game. Such a task requires that one knows how to track basic prints, as well having a base level knowledge in beast lore.

Magic: No magic, just a big beasty Gnoll with a halberd and a crossbow-come-bazooka.

Backstory:

Rise of the Kin-Slayer

Rikaw was born on the battlefield, literally. His mother was a broodmare, and happened to be heavily pregnant with him and his brothers as their tribal encampment came under attack from a rival clan. From the moment he could walk his father, Rikan Goremane, drilled him and his brothers in the matters of battle - a male Gnoll's chief role in life. He wasn't the best fighter, or the most heroic, but he quickly proved to be the most efficient. To Rikaw, the Old Ways and established norms of honorable combat meant little; he'd gladly throw sand in an opponent's face, or have them fall into pit traps, than face them fairly on level ground.

As his victims grew in number, so did his notoriety, and his father was eventually forced to exile him from the clan. Rikaw took this news bitterly, and challenged his father to a duel for the clan's patriarchy. His father was a skilled fighter, and fearsome, perhaps the best to grace the wilderness in centuries - yet as he left his tent, boasting bloody murder and beating his stomach, Rikaw shot him in the face with a crossbow and the battle ended as quick as it had begun. Outraged at such dishonor, Rikaw's brothers attacked him, but he led them into a pitfall, and they fell to their deaths.

The sole surviving male of his clan, he then turned his attention to his sisters; rather than take his rights as their mate, he instead slaughtered them, for no other reason than he wanted to extinguish his father's seed entirely and start things a new. Their blood still warm on the ground, he walked to the nearest rival clan, and proclaimed his actions.

Rather than being awe struck, the rival clan were dismayed, and rounded on him - an eventuality he had prepared for, with the introduction of an experimental concoction known to tribal elders as blast powder. He had rigged several small cloth pouches full of the stuff, and tossed them at the clan's camp fires before they had time to react. Explosions rippled through the settlement, and his enemies fled.

Some of the females didn't get away quickly enough though, and thus, the Goremane clan was born anew.

Rikaw, King of the Gnolls

Rikaw spent a decade rearing his young, in relative safety - the nearest rival clan some miles away. Those who did stray near, he slew mercilessly with a mixture of cunning and martial prowess. His sons became warriors, and those of his daughters that were deemed barren, were also incorporated into the ranks. It wasn't long until he had a raiding party of his own, and he led his family against rival clans with the fierceness and dishonor for which he was known. One bloody victory led to another, and soon, most of the wilderness came under his sway.

Bent even more by his apparent power, Rikaw declared himself the King of the Gnolls - the first such happening in recorded history - and led an invasion of the neighboring Empire with an army of hundreds. The Emperor initially ignored Rikaw's forays, preferring to lose a few border settlements than to dedicate an entire legion to him. However eventually, the Gnoll King caught the Empire's ire, and troops were eventually deployed.

Rikaw was defeated at the Battle of the Blood Canyon; Imperial numbers won the day, but not before suffering heavy losses to his countless traps and siege weapons. The Gnoll King fled, evading capture, and disappearing into the wilderness. With the enemy broken, the Empire moved in, and added another province to their coffers.

A decade on, and Rikaw has emerged in Iron Coast. His face is not widely known, and the name he gives is but a fake one, allowing him to slip through Imperial garrisons unnoticed - if not without strange looks and constant questioning. He seeks to slay the wraith, to take the gold, and to begin another clan. That, or he will take whatever power the Wraith holds, and smash the world with it.

Until then though, he must grovel and hide his bloodlust with every ounce of strength he possesses.

Oooooh, Rikaw sounds like fun!!!! Also, woth The Mark of Goremane, El would be able to unlock more of it. allowing him to sustain it longer, plus beat faster/harder. He couldnt beat it indefinitely but she could definitely extend the length of time it lasts, and how strong it was. Add that with her Adrenalyze ability, and he'd be an extremely formidable foe. Just something to think about if you do play him.

Ah, just looked it over. It's fine, I think. No logical missteps as far as I can see, except maybe the whole password thing. Remembering a password blocked by the ol black circles is... Yeah.

I'm not sure what you mean? If the password is saved by the computer itself, then I don't see where whether they are the black circles or not come into effect?

'A High Elf calling a Drow and a mut heroes, oh how amusing' the woman mused thoughtfully. El opened her mouth to respond, but a sharp tongue cut her off.

'Must she antagonize them? I'd rather not have to kill this day, there are better ways to spend my day.' El thought scornfully.

And then listening to the Hero of the East's response, Lady above. There is enough arrogance and hatred swimming the air today.

Watching the High Elf's temper be tested was amusing though.

"Children, must I act the school marm? Or can we act at least a smidgen of our age?" El drawled at, annoyance twisted into the words. Bending down the woman lifted her pack, and her staff. leaning on the bone she walked forward "now, we are off to destroy an enemy, we don't need to attempt destroying each other first. It'd be a waste of time and effort. Let peace reign on this gods-forsaken journey, when we finish, we can kill each other joyfully, yes?"

Following Gripus, she began heading towards the West Gate. "I have everything I need here, we can stop to pick up some additional rations before we leave though. Assuming we need them."

I hate to say it, but the drow character does have reason to be upset. She hasn't outright insulted someone yet, she's just been scornful. However, Gripus' response to her makes sense. Even the insult.

The drow would be hated, being curt and rude to them makes a certain sense, and Gripus does have SOME right to be arrogant, sure it's a mistake, but he has the right.

El, is not a happy camper though. Cause we are not at a good start.

Oh my god, I didn't even think of that. All of the healers are like evil or almost evil. This insanity is amazing!

I kind of like the thought that a healer isn't a fainting lily who's so good, all the time, or some bull poo like that.
