With her Buneary in hand, Reira moved away from the two boys and their pokemon and made her way further into the Pokemon Center. She passed a few trainers who were talking amongst themselves and some who were handing their pokeballs into a pink haired lady behind the counter. Everything seemed new and exciting to her, but Reira's objective was to go to the Mart at the back of the Center and buy some supplies for her journey. There were two men standing behind a blue counter and as she approached, Coco jumped out of her arms and onto it. The mischievous bunny had a glint in her eye just before she took off. Sighing, Reira reached into her pocket and grabbed the pokemon's empty ball and tossed it before Coco had a chance to evade. It hit the little thing right on the head and absorbed her before she knew what was happening.
Silently, Reira went to retrieve the pokeball before returning to the store counter and peering through the glass.
"How can I help you?" one of the men said to her.
She pointed to the shelf of small red and white pokeballs.
"Alright, how many would you like?"She held up five fingers, continuing to look around.
"Anything else?" he asked her, taking them out and placing them on the counter.
Reira pointed to the potion sprays.
"How many would you like?" he asked her, reaching for them.
She held up five fingers, pointing to the antidote, awakening, paralysis, burn and ice healing sprays.
"Five of each?" he asked.
She nodded, thinking it was better to be prepared.
"You don't talk much, do you?" the shop guy said. Reira smiled and shook her head. The man shrugged.
"Well, you wouldn't be the first one I've met who keeps to themselves like that. It's not a bad quality to have... anyway, is that all you need?" he asked. Reira nodded.
"Yes, thank you.""Oh, she speaks!" he said laughing lightly.
"Alright, that's going to be 5000 pokedollars." he told her.
As he bagged up all her items, she was pulling out the money when she remembered something.
"Do you... sell trainer belts?" she asked, placing the money in the hand of the clerk.
"Yes we do, would you like one?" he asked her. She nodded and he held up a finger for her to wait a moment while he turned and rustled through some boxes behind him. When he found one, he turned back to her and placed the belt in the bag with the rest of the items and pushed it towards her.
"That'll be another 500 pokedollars." he told her. She gave him the money and smiled as she took her bag of items .
"Please come again." he said, returning the smile.
"Thank you... I will."Reira hurried off then and went to sit down on one of the free chairs in the lounge area of the Center, spotting Kai and Logan doing their own thing when she gave a quick look around. First thing was first. Reira needed to organize her
brand new bag that she'd gotten before coming to the city. She placed all her items inside, including her pokedex and organized everything based on what items were similar. Thankfully, she had enough pouches to do so, and the items were all so small, they could fit in her little pink bag.
When she was done, she took out a permanent black marker and reached into one of her pockets, taking out the two pokeballs inside and pressing the buttons to release Coco and Pecha. The Buneary and Clefa both looked surprised when they were released, and before Coco could run off, she held up a finger.
"Stay." she said firmly, looking at the bunny pokemon. Thankfully, both of them came over to sit next to her, looking at what she was doing. Reira took the permanent market and drew on one of the pokeballs, making the shape of a bunny head, and on the other, a star.
"There." she said, closing the marker and showing them the balls.
"Now we know which pokeball belongs to you.""Neary!""Clef-fa!" Reira smiled at the two of them before returning them to their respective balls and standing up, attaching them to the black trainer belt before placing it around her waist. The belt was a bit large on her so it fell to rest on her hips, but she didn't mind. She finally felt like a real trainer and it was really, really cool. Grabbing her bag, she would adjust it to comfortably rest on her shoulder before moving to the door, though she paused before leaving.
She wondered if she should say goodbye to Logan and Kai, thinking that maybe it would be a good idea to register them on her Holocaster or maybe ask them to come along with her. She would probably be safer with them around, seeing as they looked tough. Though she was too shy to decide, and so she ended up standing there by the door, looking embarrassed and highly indecisive.
