月夜 宮本
"It is better to be hurt than to hurt others."
Tsukiyo Miyamoto
- Prefers to be called "Luna"

Female
Luna typically gravitates romantically to those who are most opposite her. The smart ones with a sharp tongue who are fearless and outgoing, she tends to observe them from a distance, often too afraid to approach. Not once has she felt that she's been in love with anyone, but personality can attract her to anyone of any gender. On one occasion she wound up getting down and dirty with a stranger at a party. They were playing 7 minutes in heaven, she got paired with a hot guy and well... Things escalated from there. Luna wishes for someone who can accept her for who she is without trying to "break open her shell" so to speak. She doesn't wish to change much for anyone, rather wishes for a partnership where she can be freely herself without fear of judgement. Simple as that.
Luna likes to consider herself a rare beauty (but don't we all). In Japan where she was born, her ghostly pale skin, short, thin frame, and jet black hair made her fit the ideal beauty type of that country. She stands at about 5'2 and never weighs in more that 115lbs, she is the very essence of frail and not really someone to be intimidated by. Her dark brown eyes appear black at a distance, giving her an otherworldly look about her. Mistaken as younger than she is, Luna blames this on her large eyes and full cheeks, and so she often wears make up to try and appear older.. Or at least match her age! She often wears loose fitting clothes like shorts, dresses and crop tops, in an attempt to blanket the fact she has barely any curve to her body. Luna dresses lightly, as she doesn't like to be hot, so you'll hardly see her in a sweater, and perhaps be shocked when she steps out in the snow wearing a skirt. Her style could be closely compared to Pastel Goth, as she loves pale colors, whites and blacks.
Greek
Luna is daughter to the Goddess Nyx - the embodiment of night itself.
- Night Empowerment - Luna becomes stronger, faster, more durable, etc. during the night, enhancing her other existing powers.
- Night Vision - This gives Luna the ability to see clearly in darkness. This allows her to be able to see within and past shadows.
- Darkness Manipulation - Luna can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows. Her most basic application is to cloud everything in an area into total darkness. By accessing a dimension of dark energy she can channel it into a solid substance: create constructs and weapons, teleport one's self through massive distances via shadows, etc. In order to use this power she must first chant the phrase "Life and Death in Darkness.", switching sometimes between English and Japanese (Yami no seikatsu to shi).
Trusting and unguarded, Luna is the type to jump into a pit of lava if someone told her it would make her immortal. She has an almost innocent and childlike way of seeing people, giving them the benefit of the doubt, as if she has no way of seeing through the lies people tell. Though she doesn't let many people close to her, that helps little, as she is still the type to trust a stranger as well.
Upon first appearances and perhaps a small talk, Luna comes across as a shy "otaku" type of girl. Quiet until someone brings up anime, Luna is most comfortable discussing the newest Manga chapters, K and J Pop music, video games and cosplay of all kinds, rather than taking a peep about herself. She is quite innocent in a way, having a positive outlook on life, not knowing much hardship or struggles herself, she is unknown to the evils of the world that lie outside the pages of her Shoujo manga. She trusts those who have not given her a reason not to, thinks all people are inherently good and believes everyone deserves a second chance. She's very much naive to everything as she doesn't get out much, keeps to herself, and usually only speaks when spoken to. Luna has a heart much too big for her own good and thus, people tend to walk all over her or abuse her kindness. Forgiving and accepting, she doesn't often get upset, even when someone she thought she could trust betrays her.
Tsukiyo Miyamoto aka "Luna" grew up in the heart of Tokyo, Japan, living with her Father for as long as she could remember. As a child, Luna's father coddled and sheltered her, as she was his only child, he tried to spoil her and give her any and everything she wanted. At the time, as a struggling writer, this was hard to do without working most of the time, and thus, Luna spent many days away from her father or home alone. She attended a private school, got average grades, didn't make many friends... It seemed as though her younger years passed in a blur, as the fun didn't start until her teen years.
It was then that her father got his big break with a Manga called "Luna" that he titled after his only daughter. The success of this new series was what got Luna interested in anime and manga at that time. Soon, she became addicted to it, dreaming of becoming just like the girl portrayed in the story. Through high school, she found her talents lie in singing, and thus tried to get into the field with little success, despite the fame of her fathers name. At the time, the abundance of young, beautiful talents made Luna less than desired, when there were those more talented than her.
After graduating and failing at her singing career, Luna convinced her father to send her to America so she could try her luck there. He allowed this and she moved to New York on his dime, seeking talent agencies all over the major cities. Though again it would seem her dreams would not be realized, one agency that had declined her a contract contacted her one day, requesting she come in and try her hand at modeling. In an industry where thinner was better, Luna fit the bill and she was able to start a career in the business, becoming the face of many clothing brands in New York City. Though her reach doesn't extend much farther than that, she is still searching for talent agencies in singing and voice acting after hearing that the anime market is popular in America too. Her attempt at a self rise to fame is coming along slowly but surely.
