"Sarantsatsral, it's so good to see you -- and Pash! Have all the tea you like, there's more brewing as we speak."

"I am glad that you still remembered me Kettle!" Sarant replied as her gaze focused at the rather distant bowl. She inched and nudged up and over the table, to which a lengthy but rather toned arm seemed to appear out of nowhere and easily reached it. Turning her gaze towards the owner of the arm, she was presented with said bowl and an introduction from one of Kettle's acquaintances.

"I'm Harry, a performer." He said with a slight grin, as he asked her, "Is there such a thing as bad medicine?"

Sarant stared at the man for a while, contemplating his rather odd question. It took her a while in the pause before she reached for the bowl and answered, "Oh, greetings! Yes...Yes, definitely!" She affirmed herself with a nod, while she placed the bowl onto the table and continued to sit down on the chair she previously used as a ladder. Pash was comfortably positioned on the floor behind Sarant as it yawned - revealing his set of rather sharp fangs hidden behind his lazy and undependable demeanor. Sarant then reached for the pot of buttered tea, lifted it up with slight difficulty, then slowly poured the milky contents into her bowl - as an Uaru typically drinks from it, instead of a cup or a mug.

"In the study of medicine, there are properties that either negate or enhance one another! Too much heat, medicine should be cooling. Too much cold, medicine should be heating! In that, one should not consume medicine with cold properties when the body is under strain of the cold!" As her bowl filled up nearly to the brim, she stopped and continued her explanation, "Just like how you would not continue to pour more into the bowl when it's full!" A smug etched across her face, slightly proud over her rather odd attempt at a metaphor.

She placed the pot of buttered tea back to where it originally was, then cupped the bowl with her two hands as she sipped at the fragrant salty tea. Rather oblivious at the fact that Harry was more interested at her than her wares, she patted the sides of her trusty medicine box No.29 strapped behind Pash and queried with glee, "Would you like to buy some, Harry!" She gave a pause, sipped loudly at her tea with a mellow and content face before continuing, "As you are acquaintances with Kettle, I'll give you a good price!"

It was then, Silcia the elvish girl to whom Kettle introduced as another in the same trade as Sarant greeted meekly.

"Hello." I whispered giving the small girl a smile.

Turning to the rather graceful looking elf, she smiled with the whites of her teeth and replied, "Ho! Has perhaps my wares took to your interest! I have many in my possession, herbs and ointments healers usually work with in their trade!" Her arms greedily reached for the plate of food as she began scooping her portion onto her own plate.

"Or perhaps you wish to share some knowledge in the arts of medicine and healing? I have heard that elves are pretty dependable when it comes to having a healer's touch!"

Yeah, definitely need professional help for your two characters XD There's going to be a lot of debate going on IC if any of the characters found out - as logical and methodical as it may seem. Tbh, it's not ironical when she's perfectly logical - considering that logic =/= emotions XD

Humans need emotions as much as logic in order to be human! Too much of either will make you a crybaby or a robot.

They won't, unless the GM wants to force it XD
You can pretty much wrap things up - with Raymond ditching the mission area. If there's nothing else planned - a quick GM post will be able to sum up what happened at the end, since the destruction of the refinery is pretty much assured. The old howitzer and MG emplacements aren't much of a fight to pilots that are considerably skilled, UNLESS THE GM SAYS OTHERWISE dun dun dun.

Also, it was a Sunday XD I had other plans yesterday, sorry!

Anyway, I'd suggest a post that we can work with, since it's a plot-driven RP D: The only thing I can think of posting IC-ly is perhaps to sum up the confirmation of destruction and RTB.

Oh Austin is not normal for sure. You know where my CS listed under skills "Deplorably corrupt personality"?
That's the personality showing itself right there.

@orangebox

I understand what you're saying--but note that Sylvia was not the one who directly killed them. She only witnessed someone die, and probably associated the infected man and John Marcel as people who weren't exactly 'human,' but as threats to her and her friend's existence. And Sylvia was in her cold, logical mood when those things happened--which is actually devoid of empathy and emotions. I guess society could consider her psychotic when she's in that state, but ironically, she is perfectly logical then.

I'm referring to the fact that it didn't take much psychological difficulties in offing a man's life - irregardless if he was going to live or not.

This is usually the psychological highlight of any zombie flick - because it actually takes a mental strain to those that are accustomed to the modern society when taking the life of a random person. That's pretty psychotic if you think about it (the lack of empathy and excessive self-preservation when said person committing the deed is not in the verge of death), unless they have been doing it for a very long while, considerably desensitized.

It is as if your characters are extremely methodical and cold, a trait seen very often in assassins/psychotic killers (not that I know of any really, based my assumptions on the run-of-the-mill assassins/psycho killer off pop culture portrayals lol), then flick back into normality as if it wasn't a big deal. (tbh what creeped me most was after offing a man still in his blood, the characters cuddled XD)

I would understand if the person turned, or has allowed it to happen. Even in latter cases as portrayed in zombie flicks - people were still squeamish about completing the act, even when the infected willingly offered to be offed in case they turn.

Gosh, I hope you get what I'm trying to say XD Words all jumbled up in the morning...

(edited several times cause I was afraid that I couldn't properly explain what I was trying to say lolol My command of English is kinda bad in the morning :X)
7th Floor
Occupants: NPC group of possible infected

6th Floor
Occupants: -fill this in-

5th Floor
Occupants: Brian and Caleb(hallway), Sue(apartment)

4th Floor
Occupants: Austin and Sylvia(apartment),

3rd Floor
Occupants: -fill this in-

2cndFloor
Occupants: Nicholas and McDougal(stairwell, heading down)

1st Floor
Occupants: zombies?

Correct me if I am wrong but, the loose end (infected NPC) has been 'handled' as mentioned earlier when dungeon assumed that ArenaSnow killed him. So technically, there isn't really infected people on the 7th floor - unless another zombie somehow crawled out from their apartments and attacked them when they are making their way up.

Also, woow O.O Your characters are pretty psychotic @Mattie_ and @IceSolstice. They need professional help *laughs* XD

I will not blame anyone for not reading that entire monstrosity.

Again, please make sure to move forward from the end of my post. A'shinok entered the cafe around mid-morning, and it is now late afternoon. Please don't get stuck in conversations from the past, glaze over things if necessary. :)

That was well worth reading actually!
Hahaha thanks, its okay! Hello everyone!!

Welcome!
