I edited my post now that I'm actually awake. I accidentally made him a bit too powerful with his mind abilities, as I forgot he just made an illusion clone of himself. Although he didn't hide himself like he should've because of his shock, doing that much in succession would normally exhaust him, so I fixed it a bit. Sorry about that if that bothered you. ><
I really apologize for how long that took to post. XD I've just been sick and all that, then forgetful and Josh bothered me until it stuck. But yeah fully edited to fit with Lucy, hopefully I didn't miss anything. Phew. Okay, we will be able to start soon now. c: Josh and Justice are actually here right now, so it's likely that the first IC will be up tonight. I'm considering just copying my old intro post because I really liked it. XD But Idk if that's too lazy because I'm definitely not going to phone in an RP that means this much to me. I'd have to make some changes (because it was wrong in the first place) but it's perfect for the start and if I rewrite it it'll be the exact situation with slightly different words anyway....

Opinions? Can I/can't I?
Name: Parker Albus Mors

Ethnicity: Caucasian

Gender: Male

Age: Twenty-four

Instrument(s): Drums, guitar, vocals

Other Talents: Cooking, trilingual (English, Spanish, French), carpentry, gardening.

Occupation: Breakfast Chef at "The Best Around Waffle House" (lol Josh&Justice)

Appearance:
He doesn't have that tattoo, and the hair is always flat like that but not wet with rain, obviously.

Bio: Parker was born and raised in Los Angeles with his younger sister Emily and both of his parents, but not in the district of Hollywood. His mother, Marie, was an attorney for one of Parker's favorite bands - 'Rest Now, Child' - who Parker had the pleasure of meeting often, which originally piqued his interest in music and where he got his first lessons as a drummer and guitarist. His father, Kenny, was a chef at a five-star restaurant and would teach Parker how to cook before he became an alcoholic and a less involved father. Kenny was also emotionally unstable, which was seemingly passed down to Parker, unlike his alcoholism. Luckily, however, Kenny was not abusive.

When Parker was fifteen, his father tried to surprise the family with a trip to Niagara Falls, but as usual was drinking and caused the family to be in a head on collision before they even made it out of California. Parker's father was somehow left mostly unharmed, but his sister Emily was killed instantly and his mother was left partially paralyzed and with brain damage, unable to do even the simplest things on her own. Parker was left with a broken shoulder, arm, and wrist on his left side, and a very bitter relationship with his father whom he obviously blamed for the crash. Parker's injuries healed fine on their own, but they left an addiction to opiates and benzodiazepines in their wake.

When Parker turned seventeen, he took the large sum of money his mom had left for him and put it toward an apartment of his own in Hollywood and used it to feed his lasting pill addiction, as there are more than enough drug dealers in L.A. Kenny quit taking care of Marie shortly after, leaving her in a hospital in San Fransisco when he moved off to a location Parker never bothered to learn. Parker finished school in San Fransisco to be close to his mother who barely even knew he was in the room when he regularly visited. During his visits, he met Lucy, who had checked herself into the psychiatric ward. Not too long later Parker was dating Lucy, as they shared an interest in music and Parker seemed to bring out an inspiration in her that she had previously lost.

Parker stayed in San Fransisco for a couple more years so he could attend his dream college of Vanderbilt University to hone his musical talents on a scholarship. While there, he began to get private lessons from his favorite teacher, Professor Wyclif, whose son Soren quickly became Parker's closest friend though he was four years younger than Parker. Both Soren and Parker both intended on moving to Hollywood to follow their dreams as musicians, but Parker left before Soren after graduating his second year at Vanderbilt. Around the time of Parker's graduation, he realized his drug addiction was pushing Lucy back into her own previous dark time of drugs and even saw it affect her song writing. Parker refused to be the cause of these things and reluctantly parted from her. It left a heavy feeling on him for some time after, but he knew it was the right decision.

When Parker returned to Hollywood, he got a crappy studio apartment way below his saved budget so he could keep a lot of his money for his future band, which he immediately went to work to try to form. One local concert he attended, he became quite fond of the voice of a certain back-up singing guitarist. Attempting to get his attention, he attended an after party the band had that night with a group of other audience members and found the man's name was Mathew and he had no interest in starting a band with Parker. As Parker's search continued, however, Mathew was found in four of the bands Parker had been searching for talent in over the next few years until eventually Parker and Mathew became friends. Not too long after, Parker's best friend Soren moved to town and decided to move in with Parker. On that day, the metalcore band "The Harbingers" was born. Soon after, Parker and Lucy got back in contact when he discovered she was in Hollywood as well, and of course was added to the band's roster.

Personality: Parker is a stubborn but fun-spirited kind of guy with a silver tongue and quick wit. He may have a short temper, but he's very sympathetic and caring. He's also rather straightforward, and is a teensy bit narcissistic Add all this together and you have the emotionally unstable pill-addicted cocktail that is Parker Mors.
I'm excited too. :D I actually don't have any RPs going at this moment, plus this is one of my favorites I've ever been apart of the creation of, so I'm excited to have it going regardless of what RPs I'm in. ^-^
WOO! That's awesome. :D
Well i[m kinda used to it by now, but yeah it totally blows. xD I'm fine though, really. Just excited to get this show on the road. ^-*
No no, it's fine. I'm actually sick too; going through withdrawals. It's making my neuropathy act up and hurt my right side of my body consistently. Bleh. Anyway, just post whenever you can. c: I'm excited to get started again.
Hm, I didn't see this last night before I went to bed... but I'm sure you already knew that I'm okay with waiting for your posts. :P
I'm sure it can be done on other places in your body as long as they are joints. The condition in my shoulders can happen in different joints on your body, so I don't see why the surgery couldn't be done in different places. :P Anyway, sorry it took so long to get the post up, but it's up now. It's not necessarily good, but I couldn't think of anything to do that would qualify as fair that Aruna wouldn't catch him immediately, then I remembered that you said the teleportation would just be speed. xD Also the name thing I thought seemed in his character to do to people to freak them out.
When the girl dropped to her knees, her mind was racing and it became difficult to read except one thing: she really hated Wolfen. Clearly the scars on her back had come from his kind, just as Praxis thought. His own scar through his hand began to burn even worse than before, causing him to tighten his grip around the cloak he had taken from this girl. Just as she was standing up, he finally snapped out of his shock and was about to turn and run when her mind began to consider something very alarming: teleportation. His eyes darted to her sword as his heart skipped a beat. Whoops, Praxis thought. He hadn't really expected her to be a fighter. Although, just because she has a sword doesn't mean she can fight, right? Besides, it's possible that her teleportation wouldn't cover the gap between them, especially considering how much preparation it took her to ignite the lantern while standing on these giant Yggdrasil leafs, which act as mana sources.
Just as the Wolfen was about to turn and run, the figure of the girl vanished and was suddenly arms length away from him, extending a sharp, cold blade and pressing it against Praxis' exposed throat. His head was tilted back from the blade as she made her threats, and when she was finished he smirked down at her. So her teleportation is just speed, huh? he analyzed, noticing the kicked up trail of snow behind her. He began to search the girl's mind for the information he wanted. It went pretty smoothly seeing as they were standing on and surrounded by considerably sized mana sources. Suddenly, he jumped back, putting almost the same distance as before between them. "That's some impressive speed you have. However, speed will only get you so far..." Praxis paused, then continued when he found her name in her mind. "... Miss Aruna." With that, he slumped down on all fours where he was most agile and pushed off the ground as hard as he could, and, with the help of some minor air magic his tribe specialized in, reached a limb about fifteen feet off the ground. Pulling himself up on top of it, he attempted to hide his exhausted sigh. The digging that deep into someone's mind and then using a different kind of magic so quickly wouldn't have even been possible had they not been in such a mana-rich place. He smirked down toward the newly identified Aruna and waved before turning and leaping in the opposite direction toward another branch.
