Futility [Interest Check]

Hello. I've decided to come back to the forums for a little while because life is slow and I'm bored. I apologize in advance for the paltry idea or if anything about it doesn't seem plausible, but I'm working off the top of my head for this one.

The RP centers around two people aboard a space station orbiting around the earth. One day, they find out and watch from above as the nations below engage in nuclear war. It isn't long before the lands have been leveled and civilization is seemingly reduced to ash. Fearing they have no way to return to Earth, the ones aboard the space station are abandoned and left to die, not knowing the fate of their loved ones as supplies slowly dwindle away. This is the story of their futility.

So, yeah. Not exactly looking for any romance or the like, though if it's something you'd want to work in, we can have a chat about it. I also inform you that I'll more than likely lose motivation or interest if things aren't kept interesting; this will more than likely be my own fault. I'm still trying to build on my writing skills, so if I end up boring you and you want to quit, let me know. Otherwise, let's see where it goes.

Seekers of the First Flame - Dark Souls Roleplay

If we can borrow from Dark Souls II, I'll be interested in joining. I've played the first game up to the Duke's Archives, but never beaten it. Dark Souls II, however, I've beaten several times and can draw more knowledge from. Is that allowed?

What songs get the creative cogs turning for you?

Shoutout to @LightAlysCity and this thread for the inspiration.

If you've seen my intro, you'll know that I'm not inspired by much these days, and that I haven't really done any RPs for a rather long while. When I am inspired, though, it's usually by music. I want to get back into writing and, to help further my progress, I've created a playlist of songs. The drawback to this is that my playlist is pretty small - 33 songs to be exact, and most of the songs sit on the same genre, which prompted me to come here. Now that this thread exists, I'd like to turn it into a hub of inspiration for not just myself, but any others who might have a bit of writer's block that can be freed through music.

So - what songs get the creative cogs turning for you? If you could, please link them, whether it's a YouTube video, SoundCloud or Bandcamp link, whatever. As with Aly's thread, please be sure to name the artist and title of the song; listing genres isn't necessary, but it's encouraged, if possible.
