@Heckno12@LuckyBlackCat@Noxx@fer1323Alexis' Pokemon could finally rest. The past few hours had been chaos, what with the impromptu battle, the powerful Pokemon, and general danger. All of them needed to sleep the day away. Alexis especially thought that her second day as an official trainer seemed a bit too chaotic than she was comfortable with. So many events so quickly...it was honestly stressful.
Alexis returned her Pokemon to their pokeballs, and boarded an ambulance to catch a ride to the next city. She looked to -Sophia- the poser, wondering if she was going to hop on as well. If they were going to compete against each other, they may as well keep an eye on each other. Not that Alexis needed to. The poser was destined to lose to her, regardless of what happens. The earlier thing was out of her control! It didn't count. It can't count. Otherwise...
Alexis folded her arms, trying to think on something else. She had to focus on the upcoming events. Gym battles, Contests, training, etc. There was still much to do. She couldn't spend time to think on something stupid.
Her attention returned to the others. Each and every one of them were destined to lose to her. They were the obstacles, and she was the protagonist. She was bound to conquer them, and move on to the end, where she and her team would ascend to stardom, and be loved by all!

It was a beautiful day outside. The sun was shining, the wind brushed lightly against the flora, and the clouds slowly drifted along in the sky. Definitely not a day that would have any business being excited. So, of course, there was some sort of weirdness happening somewhere. One such sight would be where we focus now, where a Maractus dances and shakes maracas. In front of her was an unconscious Rattata, near her was an expressionless youth, and all around them were the Rattata's friends. Despite the wild Pokemon having angered looks on their faces, the youth's expression remained unchanged, and the Maractus continued to sing, dance, and shake her maracas.
The wild Pokemon charged, seeking to beat the two up as revenge. Four in total, they felt that they had the advantage. Unfortunately for them, they hadn't considered who they were messing with. Their attacks were not only blocked by what seemed to be a plant-like barrier that was covered in thorns. They felt the sting of being poked with sharp needles, and backed off, allowing Maractus to knock another one of them out. The wild Pokemon continued their assault, only to find that nothing they did worked well. The Maractus either defended against them, or sucked the energy out of them for herself. By the end of the battle, the last Pokemon standing was Maractus, who finished with a dramatic pose.
The youth looked around at the unconscious Pokemon, then looked to the Maractus, who was still posing. A moment of silence passed as the wind blew past them, and eventually the youth spoke. The voice seemed somewhat emotionless, yet still held a hint of a curious tone.
"
Had your fun?"
The Maractus finally relaxed out of her pose, and raised its maracas in the air, with a smile on her face. She let out a happy yell in response. The youth nodded in response, and began picking up the unconscious Pokemon. After a while, the two of them left the wild Pokemon next to a berry bush, as if apologizing for beating them all up.
The two continued on their way to another destination, looking completely out of place in a grassy field. They had wandered far in order to accomplish a goal, and now they were about to make contact with a town or city again. They spotted the buildings in the distance, and they knew that they had finally found a chance to make progress...tomorrow. For now, they had decided to rest away from the town's border. It wasn't as if they had enough money to stay anywhere, anyway, and besides, the youth grew up sleeping in a tent. Actual beds felt foreign and awkward, and it was normally too big for the youth's taste.
For now, they would simply rest where they were. The youth took out two berries, and gave one to Maractus. It was to be their dinner, and it was enough for them.
