Name: Adelaide "Addie" Lécuyer
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Appearance: Addie is tall for a girl her age at 5 feet, 9 inches tall. Her mousey brown hair usually hangs in front of her face, hiding her blue-gray eyes. She is usually seen wearing a black hoodie and slouching a bit. Between her skinny jeans and the ripped up gray converse she always wears, she looks like someone you'd see blogging about coffee in a Starbucks. She doesn't often wear makeup, but will be seen with some eyeliner sporadically for unknown reasons.
Godly Parent: Unclaimed (child of Ares)
Personality: Despite her size, Addie is insecure and tends to be a follower rather than a leader. She rather dislikes crowds, which is unfortunate for her due to her current residency in the Hermes cabin. She doesn't often stand her ground and tends to depend on others to do that for her, even though she's not very good at making friends. Addie hates being reprimanded, so she often follows rules that she disagrees with. However, she is very opinionated and will express those opinions to people she feels comfortable around. She is often willing to listen, but hardly ever willing to talk. Because of her inherent shyness, she is quite often left without a bed inside the cabin. Addie quite enjoys sleeping outside most of the time, though. She is also insatiably curious, and likes to know the full story behind things.
History: Addie grew up with two older sisters who spent a lot of time away from home when she was younger. They were both highschoolers by the time she was born, so she spent a lot of her younger years overhearing arguments between her mother and her sisters. Often, Addie noticed that these arguments came back to Addie herself. She never understood what she had done to her sisters that made them so angry at her, but she couldn't ask. The two older girls wouldn't even look at her. Later, when she was 12, she got into a fight with her mom herself and found out that her sisters' father had left the family when Addie was born because of her mother's now proven infidelity. She found herself stomping back to her room crying at that point. She and her mother didn't talk much after that. After all, what were they supposed to say to each other? It wasn't like Addie could apologize for being born, and her mother couldn't apologize for being responsible for her being born. Addie spent much of her time trying to find her father for about a year. She had guessed some things based on her mother's own past along with some things she knew about her half-sisters' father. Her mother had met her ex husband when they were in the military. After she decided she'd had enough of the army, he stayed. Every once in a while he'd be sent back, and her mother would be left alone with the kids at home. Addie guessed that her mother must have met her biological father when her husband was away. She searched any record she could access for this man, to no avail. She never did find her father.
Addie was contacted by a satyr just before she turned 13 and was transported to camp after everything was explained to her. She didn't say much, but was excited at the possibility of possibly finding out who her father really was. Night after night, she waited for her father to claim her, but he never did. Addie grew to like the Hermes cabin a little, even though she didn't enjoy the sheer amount of people always there. She spent a lot of her time training with swords and learning various tactics for battle, finding these things surprisingly enjoyable.
Powers:
-Excels in any skills that would assist her in battle
-Will not feel pain associated with injuries sustained in battle if she has entered "the zone" (calling it her "Bloodrage")
Skills:
-Excels in swordplay and hand-to-hand fighting
-Researching, when she has the focus
Likes: Stargazing, quiet, capture the flag
Dislikes: Crowds, overbearing people, dishonesty, small spaces
Weaknesses: Addie is claustrophobic. There is an aftereffect of her Bloodrage that causes her to feel the pain caused my injuries sustained while using this ability to be magnified tenfold. Her fatal flaw is her unwillingness to lead in any capacity.
Other: *intense silence*
