(Sorry, all full! We'll still accept Harpies, Satyrs, or other monsters! If a slot opens up, we'll remove this. Again, sorry!)
Seven Demigods. Hanging over their heads is not the Big Prophecy of Percy Jackson and his Olympians. No, it is instead a different a prophecy. One of the gods losing their power and their connection to Western Civilization.

Seven of divine blood will be called,
The light of the gods will soon fall,
The cruelty of kindness must be overcome,
Or else the changing dove will be undone.

Gentle war must roar,
Or else Olympus will be no more.
The unclaimed child will stare deeply into darkness
Or ruin shall befall the final conquest.

Child of Light, to yourself be true,
But you must decide which means most to you.
The action of war could help or hinder,
The effect of one could change the fate.

A sleepless child shall soon be put to the test,
by the war gods hand shall he find rest.
The tinkerer's child must face an unknown fear
Else the path of the quest will not be clear.

As you can probably guess we'll have five slots and we'll tailor the prophecy to those who've been accepted.
Since ParagonKrogan and I take up two slots,we have five open. Keep in mind that we reserve to right to kick people for being out of line. (We had issues with this before and will not tolerate this.)

Rules:
1. The Big Three can only have one child. So only one child of Zeus, one child of Poseidon, and one child of Hades. They might die at the end of the adventure to keep continuity, you have been warned.

2. No crazy powers for an unclaimed demi-god. Percy may be the son of God of Earthquakes, but even he can't make the world shake. If your powers seem crazy and are asked about, please add your parent (you CAN remain unclaimed) to your sheet and explain to us who the god is and what they're in charge of.

3. Please post at least a paragraph to keep us moving. We are in Casual, after all. Thank you.

4. We reserve the right to reject your sheet if they are completely impossible. (Artemis, for example.)

5. Be cool, like Fonz. (Guild rules.)

6. Remember, they are 12 to 18. A vast majority of them will be underage. So... you can piece together that we don't want to go beyond cuddling. I don't want to be arrested.

Name: Adelaide "Addie" Lécuyer

Age: 14

Gender: Female

Appearance: Addie is tall for a girl her age at 5 feet, 9 inches tall. Her mousey brown hair usually hangs in front of her face, hiding her blue-gray eyes. She is usually seen wearing a black hoodie and slouching a bit. Between her skinny jeans and the ripped up gray converse she always wears, she looks like someone you'd see blogging about coffee in a Starbucks. She doesn't often wear makeup, but will be seen with some eyeliner sporadically for unknown reasons.

Godly Parent: Unclaimed (child of Ares)

Personality: Despite her size, Addie is insecure and tends to be a follower rather than a leader. She rather dislikes crowds, which is unfortunate for her due to her current residency in the Hermes cabin. She doesn't often stand her ground and tends to depend on others to do that for her, even though she's not very good at making friends. Addie hates being reprimanded, so she often follows rules that she disagrees with. However, she is very opinionated and will express those opinions to people she feels comfortable around. She is often willing to listen, but hardly ever willing to talk. Because of her inherent shyness, she is quite often left without a bed inside the cabin. Addie quite enjoys sleeping outside most of the time, though. She is also insatiably curious, and likes to know the full story behind things.

History: Addie grew up with two older sisters who spent a lot of time away from home when she was younger. They were both highschoolers by the time she was born, so she spent a lot of her younger years overhearing arguments between her mother and her sisters. Often, Addie noticed that these arguments came back to Addie herself. She never understood what she had done to her sisters that made them so angry at her, but she couldn't ask. The two older girls wouldn't even look at her. Later, when she was 12, she got into a fight with her mom herself and found out that her sisters' father had left the family when Addie was born because of her mother's now proven infidelity. She found herself stomping back to her room crying at that point. She and her mother didn't talk much after that. After all, what were they supposed to say to each other? It wasn't like Addie could apologize for being born, and her mother couldn't apologize for being responsible for her being born. Addie spent much of her time trying to find her father for about a year. She had guessed some things based on her mother's own past along with some things she knew about her half-sisters' father. Her mother had met her ex husband when they were in the military. After she decided she'd had enough of the army, he stayed. Every once in a while he'd be sent back, and her mother would be left alone with the kids at home. Addie guessed that her mother must have met her biological father when her husband was away. She searched any record she could access for this man, to no avail. She never did find her father.

Addie was contacted by a satyr just before she turned 13 and was transported to camp after everything was explained to her. She didn't say much, but was excited at the possibility of possibly finding out who her father really was. Night after night, she waited for her father to claim her, but he never did. Addie grew to like the Hermes cabin a little, even though she didn't enjoy the sheer amount of people always there. She spent a lot of her time training with swords and learning various tactics for battle, finding these things surprisingly enjoyable.

Powers:
-Excels in any skills that would assist her in battle
-Will not feel pain associated with injuries sustained in battle if she has entered "the zone" (calling it her "Bloodrage")

Skills:
-Excels in swordplay and hand-to-hand fighting
-Researching, when she has the focus

Likes: Stargazing, quiet, capture the flag

Dislikes: Crowds, overbearing people, dishonesty, small spaces

Weaknesses: Addie is claustrophobic. There is an aftereffect of her Bloodrage that causes her to feel the pain caused my injuries sustained while using this ability to be magnified tenfold. Her fatal flaw is her unwillingness to lead in any capacity.

Other: *intense silence*

I have an inquiry: if you're looking to keep this able to flow with canon continuity by having one or all of the Big Three Kid(s) die - why not just not allow any kids of them to keep more to the history and Big Three Rule? Or, really, all Big Three Kids (if more than just one has a kid) have to be dead. I'm just curious about this now that you've said that.

Well, we wanted to allow freedom, so it would be feasible for them to have had other children at this time, (especially Zeus since the guy can't keep it in his pants like, Gods) but they could either be dead at the end, not exist, or they could be unclaimed. We don't personally care, though.

Alrighty. Just wanted to check. I get curious about things and then it eats at me until I ask. =)

I had a thought for a Hades kid (from an RP from a different site taking place after the first series) and her destiny is kind of to end up a Huntress.

But I'm still considering my other characters.

This is not me reserving Hades, so if someone else wants Hades, feel free to take him.

*Edit*

I've decided on a daughter of Apollo. I'll get a sheet together shortly.

I think I'm going to have a son of Zeus. And yes, I'm aware of the responsibility I have over my character.

It's kinda fun to kill off characters, in my opinion.

Name: Zula Aitken
Age: 14
Gender: Female
Appearance:

Godly Parent: Aphrodite
Personality:
Always with a smile on her face, Zula likes to be friends with almost everyone in camp. She often tries to help the Hermes cabin, building extra beds or small shelters so the people who have no room can sleep outside without getting too cold, she also offers hot chocolate to campers during winter. Looking at Zula, most assume that she's someone who couldn't do math, but in fact Zula is quite talented when it comes to applying math to the real world, like physics and sometimes she thinks about studying calculus. When she gets talking about math or any of her projects, she goes on tangents about various things. Zula knows many jokes, and often tells them when the situation seems desperate or dire. Zula is overly kind, often times overreaching herself to save others at her expense.
The flip side of her personality is that she can be extremely spiteful to people who are mean or have been mean to others. She will take them on in a duel using swords and more often than not she will win due to her experience. Zula will then ask if they will apologize to the person they have attacked or been mean to. If they do not, Zula will continue to duel them every day until they relent. Zula will then refuse to speak to the 'mean' person for an indefinite amount of time.
History:
Zula was nine when she ran away from home. Her father was barely scraping by, and always saying that if he had one less mouth to feed he might be able to fix certain things around the house. So Zula decided to run away, packing only her clothes and a few snacks for the road. Zula's dreams of being on the road were quickly shattered by her first experience with a monster. It had been a cyclops, and if she'd been more quiet she wouldn't have been caught. Zula woke later over a fire, and instead of panicking, immediately started to think her way out of the situation. Since the cyclops liked to talk, she managed to keep it talking for long enough that she could break the stick which it had used to roast her, but her plan had one downside. She had to roll quickly out of the fire and hope that the cyclopes was stupid enough to think that she'd fallen in and died.
She was lucky, the cyclope spent precious time searching in the fire for her remains instead of looking for her. She managed to escape, but with a large burn up her arm. Zula recalled the cyclope talking about a place called 'Camp Half-Blood' and decided to try and find it. After a two-year long journey with the help of satyr during most of it, Zula managed to reach Camp Half-Blood, where she decided to remain year round. She trained in swordplay as well as learned math and other basic course from Chiron and the Athena cabin helping her.
Powers:
-Ability to speak French fluently
-Able to distract by talking, though she cannot control others by talking
-Minor shapeshifting, like changing her hair or eye color. She can't change her facial structure whatsoever.
Skills:
-She can use a regular sized blade
-Proficient in mathematics
-Can cut/style hair
-Can build small shelters
Likes: Darker, more muted colors; helping people; thinking about funny jokes.
Dislikes: Mean people; bullies; neon colors; cyclopes; spiders.
Weaknesses: She can't handle seeing cyclopes, if she does, she'll freeze in fear. She also hates spiders. Zula's fatal heroic flaw is that she is too kind, and will do anything for anyone, unquestioningly.
Other: "Aphrodite is love, but there are a lot of ways of showing love other than just through kisses and confessing your love."

Name: Walker James Selanne
Age: 16
Gender: Male

Appearance: Walker is 5’10” with a lean, athletic build and an olive complexion. His eyes are primarily blue with a mix of green and sometimes gray and they’re narrow in shape. His hair is dark brown, unkempt most days, and medium in length. He's scruffy, but not in a good or bad way. That's just how he is. He favors grays and blues and usually wears cargo shorts and solid color t-shirts. He has a few faded scars on his shins and forearms, mostly from being reckless during practice or a close encounter with a harpy. It's not uncommon to see him with a new cut or bruise at the end of the day. His smile is lopsided.

Godly Parent: Unclaimed son of Zeus

Personality: Walker is a fun-loving free spirit. He’s the kind to stay out past curfew and push the boundaries of camp. For fun, he’s up for just about anything so long as another person is involved. He’s a very loyal friend, but still has trouble with touch-y feel-y feelings things in other people and himself. He can be a shoulder to cry on, but it’s a hella awkward for him. He’d rather shake off the bad feelings and drown it out with work or a hobby or by being around other people.

He’s struggled with depression for a long while, but he started on some medications recently that’s put him on a more leveled path emotionally. He’s a spiritual person, a praying person, but he does have a slight temper when it comes to things he’s sensitive about.

History: Walker’s biological mother gave him up for adoption when he was born and he was adopted by a couple with fertility issues when he was just a few months old. He hasn’t sought out his biological parents. He has no idea he was adopted until he was thirteen, the same time he found out he was a demigod by a school friend who passed themselves off as human for a number of years. At school, his ADHD and dyslexia singled him out as a child of a god and a major disturbance in class.

He went to camp hoping to figure who at least one of his parents were, but the time for claiming came and went and he was never claimed. That was when he gave up on ever finding out who his biological parents were.

He doesn’t remember it, but when he was a kid, he was kidnapped and held for ransom. His adoptive father, being a government agent, was on the team that rescued him. His parents suspect he sustained some psychological damage from the whole ordeal. They also suspect the gods had something to do with it.

Powers: He can summon lightning storms, but he can’t control where the lightning lands. He can summon strong winds in whatever direction he pleases, though. He’s tried to make tornadoes, but they don’t usually stick and are very weak.

Skills: He’s handy with almost any one-handed weapon. He has a fondness for axe and shield.

Likes: Breaking rules, having fun, sparring, hanging out with friends, crafts and coloring, cooking (he’s no good at it), swimming
Dislikes: Feelings, talking his biological parents, being alone, reading
Weaknesses: His aim is lousy and he is clumsy with two-handed weapons. He has a bit of a temper, too.
Other: He has depression; He’s okay for the most part, but certain things can set him off. He’s also a pescetarian.

Name: Ariel Guinevere Holmes
Age: 15
Gender: Female

Appearance: Ariel has the slender body of a dancer and moves with almost supernatural grace. She stands about five foot six - and still growing - and although thin with slight curves and small bust. Although attractive, she doesn't play it up - almost as if she doesn't realize she is and prefers wearing no makeup, or will wear just enough to accentuate her bright blue eyes (often noted as the same color as the Caribbean Sea) and perfect lips if she must wear make up - and wears sundresses or peasant skirts and peasant/tank tops that help accentuate her femininity. Her black hair cascades in gentle layered waves down to roughly her mid-back. She is just tanned enough to make her creamy complexion show that she does spend time outside, but not enough to give her noticeable tan lines or a dark complexion to contrast with her soft features. She prefers to wear blues, white, and muted purples.

Godly Parent: Apollo

Personality: She's probably about the sweetest person you could come across, tends to be almost sickeningly upbeat about nearly everything, and can almost always find the good in a situation or person. She doesn't like seeing anyone upset and will go out of her way to make sure everyone around her is happy. She doesn't like being sad, or upset, and usually bounces back quickly from any situation that makes her either. It is extremely difficult to make her angry, and even then she usually bounces back quickly. She's quick to consider someone a friend, and would even go out of her way to help a stranger cheer up just so she could see something good happen for another person.
Thanks to a bit of an isolated childhood, she is extremely naive, and makes her easy to manipulate due to her trusting nature - since she would rather assume everyone means well rather than acknowledge that some people just want to hurt others because it's fun. She doesn’t like to lie to others, finding it upsets her health and perpetuates negative atmospheres; lying in general is distressing to her, and she cannot assist by being around someone lying if she knows that’s what someone is doing.
Pacifist to a fault, she can’t stand to watch even a sparring match and has continually refused to learn even the most basic of combat training or even hold a weapon. She can often be found dancing and singing (or at least humming) around camp if by herself. Waking up with the sun, she is usually very energetic throughout the day, and only fading in energy with the setting of the sun. Loving to make new friends, she likes to help greet new campers and spends much of her time caring for the injured in the infirmary.

History: Her parents always wanted a child, but her mother found out she was infertile, the stress of the knowledge (because she decided not to inform her husband) brought her to start going to bars for one-night stands. Several weeks after one of these one-nighters, she discovered she was pregnant, and nine months of slowly failing health later - Ariel was born. Her father was never the wiser of her mother’s adulterous ways, as the instant Ariel took her first breath, her mother took her last. In the wake of this tragedy, her father swore he’d never let anything happen to Ariel - homeschooling her, continually moving her once Ariel started to branch out and make roots in a town.
She never knew there was anything special about her aside from her father’s overprotective ways, until her father grew sick - cancer. He was admitted to the hospital when his weakened immune system welcomed pneumonia, and she refused to leave his side. As his system got weaker, and she became unwilling to let him part from her, her healing touch flourished from dormancy when she prayed for a way to save his life, and it chased away not only the pneumonia but the cancer as well.
A week later, after the hospital’s numerous tests to figure out what happened with her father all came back without results or completely normal, a man appeared at the door. He discussed the situation with her father - with Ariel sneaking into earshot - and recommended the camp. She begged and pleaded until her father agreed.

Powers:
- She has the ability to heal others if she touches them and concentrates; this can be as little as healing a scraped knee, or - in the more extreme - healing someone that is on the brink of death. The more effort she needs to concentrate, the more of her life energy she puts into the healing.
- Her own body can heal, though it only rebounds from minor injuries, healing at a slightly accelerated rate from major ones (example: takes several days to recover from a broken bone instead of weeks/months); her accelerated healing requires a lot of sun exposure.
- Extremely talented at singing and playing string instruments; naturally capable of playing any stringed instrument she picks up, but her strongest instrument is actually a violin and harp.
- Although she has a gift for the written word, she is great at writing poems.

Skills:
- She’s a gifted artist, particularly with drawing.
- Extremely intelligent, most believed she was actually an Athenian until she was claimed by Apollo.
- She is fluent in Italian and French.
- Skilled at dancing, she is great at ballet.
- Although she had limited medical training before camp, she is extremely book smart on the subject and has proven extreme proficiency with treating others.

Likes: Singing, dancing, being around people, helping others, making friends, taking care of others, learning/expanding her knowledge, drawing, playing her violin, smiling, and writing poems and stories. Although she loves sunny days the most (and thus being outside somewhere she can be in the sunlight), she likes all kinds of weather. The color blue is her favorite color.

Dislikes: Bullies, fighting, people being mean, lies, seeing people upset/sad, negativity

Weaknesses: Incapable of lying, she always tells the truth - and her naive side keeps her from seeing the problem in that. Though her more fatal flaw is her utter pacifism.

Other: She brought a violin and sketch pad with her to camp. Her mortal father keeps up the pattern they had before she started camp of continually moving around the country - but now more for her protection from monsters than to shelter her like before.
She's a vegetarian - and would end up being a vegan if not for the knowledge that chickens lay eggs whether they are fertilized by a rooster or not, and only consumes dairy if she knows the farm doesn't use hormones to keep the cow producing milk.

Name: Press Dalton
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Appearance:
Brown hair and brown eyes. Wears a brown coat and a scarf, both of which hide interesting tools and gadgets for easy access. Stands at 5'11", a fact that does not please him to be so close to 6", yet so far. Believes himself to look cool, but it is not the case, at least not all the time. His automaton falcon Horus rarely leaves his shoulder, except when circumstances force otherwise. Will sometimes wear prototype suits of armor that barely functions as intended half the time.
Godly Parent: Hephaestus
Personality: Friendly, but paranoid with his creations. However, he spends time learning how to make better creations from both the Hephaestus and Athena cabins. He isn't afraid to let others see how he creates things as long as he has them swear on the River Styx that they don't take credit for his ideas.
History: Press lived with 2 loving parents, who always managed to find the time to spend with Press. He was taught how to build things out of bits and pieces, and Press quickly found that he was good with such a task. Press, however, spent more of his time exploring the nearby junkyard. He kept his more secret creations hidden there, and even went as far as to make his own little fort.
When he reached the age of 10, he found a metal box with a button on the top and a note that said, "It's a failure, but for you, it's enough. Happy birthday." Naturally, Press pushed the button, and it folded itself into a little cube of metal, revealing a bronze falcon with another note that had the word "Horus" on it. Delighted, he ran back home to show his parents, who were interested, though his mother had a sad look in her eyes.
In private, his mother told Press the truth, that the father he always knew wasn't his real father, and that his real father was a greek god named Hephaestus. Of course, he didn't believe her, since he was taught that gods weren't supposed to exist. Despite his mother's best attempts, Press never believed her about it, and they grew apart due to the incident.
When Press turned 13, he encountered a beautiful girl and quickly fell in love. However, the girl turned out to be an empousa, and she told him so much about the Olympian gods and the monsters. Press was nearly killed by her, but Horus swooped in and distracted her long enough for him to get away. After escaping, he was quickly found by a satyr, who then contacted his mother about the incident, and proceeded to take him to Camp Half-Blood, after a full explanation to Press' stepfather and a goodbye from Press' parents.
Powers: None...
Skills: Creating machines and tools, whether magically enchanted or scientifically advanced (or both). Proficient use of any gadget he creates (Motto: Do not create something you cannot operate, unless requested by a trusted source). Lock picking (after accidentally locking himself out of his own room).
Likes: Anything he builds, his guitar, celestial bronze.
Dislikes: People that interrupt his work, plagiarists, confrontation, girls that take advantage of guys, raisins.
Weaknesses: His swordplay is abysmal, so his fighting style is essentially hitting anything that comes his way with some blunt weapon, like a wrench or hammer. Other than that, he may merely hide behind machines that fight for him. Without machines, he has no idea how to deal with the rest of the world.
Other: Everything he owns has at least 1 custom modification, like his guitar having a gps system built into it, among other things. He also owns a celestial bronze automaton falcon named Horus, sometimes for surveillance, but mainly for companionship.

Scarifar, I don't think there's a Hecate cabin in this RP, since this is pre-PJO.
